I feel the same Necie. We owe it to our children to make the world a safe and at least reasonably harmonious place to live. We’ve seen what the rightwing repugs have done with the power they’ve been given so far. We have to take it back from them. I think they are on the path to self-destruction though. Every time I hear blowhards like Rush, and that crazy gun dude who threatened to start shooting people, and even members of the clergy who preach RWNJ garbage, I think of Matthew 7:15…”Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”

JO, You make a good about his idiot followers. But I still think we can undermine him by boycotting his sponsors. Any way, for me I am going to research Rush’s sponsors so that I make sure that not a single penny of my money goes to them. Obviously, I am not that naive to think that my action will have any impact on Rush. But If I can stop spending my money on the businesses that support him that would make me feel good for not being part of of people who bank-roll this despicable, EVIL, man.
