I normally have longer side-swept bangs but coincidentally, my hairstylist cut shorter bangs a week ago and I’m still getting used to them. Every time I look in the mirror, I am a little taken aback, like who is that? I bet Mrs. O is doing the same thing!

Living in Oklahoma, I know exactly what he’s talking about. Actually, some people see no connection between their love of guns and support for all guns all the time, and the massacres in Aurora, Newtown, or anywhere else. They always assume that couldn’t happen with them, and love their guns. They stoutly say that no assault weapon ban will make any difference in the number of deaths. Since they use their guns only for hunting, there is no connection.
He is right to warn the urban and northern democrats about this issue.
I despise guns. I refuse to go back to the church I’ve been a member of for 25 years because people carry guns to church, and so far there is no weapons ban posted on the door, but what Clinton said is absolute reality in these states. I’m glad he spoke out with a warning.
Our governor, Mary Fallin, has publicly said she is going to take the weapons class so she can carry a gun…..now and after she’s out of office. With that role model, what do you expect!!!

He may be right about the rural areas. I can only speak about what I know. I live in a suburban Republican area, But the women here are not for guns, certainly not assault weapons. There may be one or two that moved here from the farm, but the majority of suburban women do not want guns around their children or around their schools. They are reachable. From what I understand the turnout is much lower in midterms. All we need to do is turn out the same friends who voted in the Presidential election. People who typically vote once every four years. I will spend the next two years quietly working on the wives. There is no point engaging with most of the guys or getting into arguments with conservatives as it would only be counter-productive in this situation.

This quartet and the pairs are truly unusual in our history, and we are the better for it. Truly four lovely people.

Living in Oklahoma, I know exactly what he’s talking about. Actually, some people see no connection between their love of guns and support for all guns all the time, and the massacres in Aurora, Newtown, or anywhere else. They always assume that couldn’t happen with them, and love their guns. They stoutly say that no assault weapon ban will make any difference in the number of deaths. Since they use their guns only for hunting, there is no connection.
He is right to warn the urban and northern democrats about this issue.
I despise guns. I refuse to go back to the church I’ve been a member of for 25 years because people carry guns to church, and so far there is no weapons ban posted on the door, but what Clinton said is absolute reality in these states. I’m glad he spoke out with a warning.
Our governor, Mary Fallin, has publicly said she is going to take the weapons class so she can carry a gun…..now and after she’s out of office. With that role model, what do you expect!!!
I don’t at all. I’m tired of having to bow down to this minority who are so obsessed with guns—–guns!!!!——that they can’t see straight to allow the rest of us any peace of mind with common sense gun legislation. It’s sick.
He may be right about the rural areas. I can only speak about what I know. I live in a suburban Republican area, But the women here are not for guns, certainly not assault weapons. There may be one or two that moved here from the farm, but the majority of suburban women do not want guns around their children or around their schools. They are reachable. From what I understand the turnout is much lower in midterms. All we need to do is turn out the same friends who voted in the Presidential election. People who typically vote once every four years. I will spend the next two years quietly working on the wives. There is no point engaging with most of the guys or getting into arguments with conservatives as it would only be counter-productive in this situation.

2 1/2 hour long concert. That was great. I’m so happy they got such a great dedicated concert/event at this inauguration. And all the performers were top notch. Unfortunately the feed got really bad at the end for me. Luckily the sound kept rolling.
