His mother, father, grandmother, and grandfather are not here to participate in this wonderful and glorious history, but without them, we would not be enjoying these very emotional and historical moments of his life. I also love the fact that the Bible that he used this morning is the Bible of his father-in-law, First Lady’s father who did not get to see all of this as well. However, Mr. Robinson was there again this morning. Just visualize the pages of that Bibles has the hand prints of his father-in law all over them.

He puts out articles under the guise of “analysis” usually to undermine the President. For example he put out an article yesterday about 2nd term Presidents having shorter honeymoons. In 2011, he all but declared PBO a one-term president, and only came on board late in October 2012 when it was unambiguous that PBO was going to win. Yet people seemed to want to give him credit for simply reflecting polling data – he had NO part whatsoever in Obama’s victory. Just the weekend before the election, he put out an article suggesting that PBO should pull out of Florida because he was not winning there.

You’re exactly right Chi. And the men who work at NYT are not that much different. For example, I know a lot of people love Nate Silver but he can be just as snide and nasty when it comes to PBO. He puts out articles under the guise of “analysis” usually to undermine the President. For example he put out an article yesterday about 2nd term Presidents having shorter honeymoons. In 2011, he all but declared PBO a one-term president, and only came on board late in October 2012 when it was unambiguous that PBO was going to win. Yet people seemed to want to give him credit for simply reflecting polling data – he had NO part whatsoever in Obama’s victory. Just the weekend before the election, he put out an article suggesting that PBO should pull out of Florida because he was not winning there.

I am one of those who refused to praise or crown him after the elections simply because he momentarily came back from the dark, greedy side a week before to predict the election for President Obama…And only because contrary to his predictions and against his best efforts, President Obama was getting a second term…
Jeff Gauvin (Jefferson Obama) was also very instrumental in shaming Nate Silver by destroying his dubious methods and manipulated conclusions especially in the last two weeks before the election…
It seems to have escaped most people’s minds that Nate Silver had spent the entire time since he joined the NYtimes, perpetually undermining, dismissing and discrediting the President …
Nate Silver in his re-imagined presence in the American consciousness is an unfortunate pox on our democracy and gives smart, ethical statisticians a bad rap…
Deaniac (The People’s View) also also called out Silver for his insistence on giving equal weight to questionable GOP-sponsored polling in his models.
These slimy people have been wrong about basically everything they’ve ever opined about, and today is evidence of that – along with every single historic achievement earned by this President.
What bugs me the most is that even though Miche has come out against the book–something’s she’s never done before or after– people still got to Kantor for comments about Michelle! I don’t fricking get it! Miche has already proven that Kantor has no insider insight to the First Lady, how she thinks or how her family runs. Why is Kantor the “leading voice on the Obamas” (not an actual quote, I’m just mocking her.) ???? That really ticks me off. The other day I was over at mrs-o.com and the lady that runs it had some bullcrap article posted with quotes from that Evil Piece Of Crap. I was so disgusted.

The truth is that Jodi Kantor cannot stand what the Obamas have going for them and is dedicated to if not completely tearing it apart, but poking as many holes in their marriage and completely tarnishing and degrading it as much as possible…
She clearly despises President Obama and is trying to use a bogus argument of a frustrated and marginalized wife in her role as First Lady, to pretend to make some twisted case for something to make a quick buck…
…..and we need to know that today, why? There has been a request that today and tomorrow be a punditt, negative, free day today and tomorrow, as we celebrate the good news. There is no reason for us to know what the crazies are saying during the most positive, uplifting time of our political lives. Posting this stuff dulls the happy of the day.

They have wingnuts on and fake journalists from wingnut rags on spouting the most vile and bitter lies, and the C-Span crew just sit there expressionless, pretending to be neutral and pretending that what they are hearing and also participating in is not equally vile. They need to be taxed, or they need to go back to being neutral. They are also quoting fake papers like the Washington Times.
