At the swearing in today, I saw Malia Obama really emerging as a beautiful young woman with the warmth and graciousness of her mother. Sasha is a cutie, but still not quite emerged from childhood. I remember once when the young Jackie Kennedy first came on the scene, she was described by some columnist as the “quintessence of luminous young womanhood.” I thought of that today as Malia stepped forward to embrace her dad. She really is luminous. There’s a great future in store for this young woman. She may never go anywhere near politics, but whatever she does, she will have the intelligence, great looks and charisma of her dad and mom. In the next four years, Sasha will come into her own and she, too, will be a glorious sight to behold. Both daughters have some of the best genes on the planet.

It’s time for the lies to stop. We need to call out our elected officials about the constant LIES. They are responsible for all the misconsceptions of the low information voter. R’s seem to like the people to be uninformed and stupid. They seem to think that it’s to their advantage. I am tired of anthing to get and stay elected. We the people need to demand honesty from our elected officials.
I am so disgusted that these fools don’t seem to take their jobs seriously. People elect them based on false pretenses. We need to demand more. The ugly needs to stop. The sooner the better.

I believe FLOTUS is radiantly beautiful and the warmth of her spirit emanates from her. While I can appreciate that everyone sometimes likes to freshen up their look – this new hairstyle, in my view, is not that flattering as it hides/detracts from her lovely bone structure, bright eyes, and gorgeous smile.

Just like we changed the constituion that 18yrs vote in three months, we can change the constituion to get rid of the electorial college and have just the popular vote by state. It would make it a lot harder to steal the election too.

On another note, I haven’t seen or heard anything about Dylan Ratigan since he left MSNBC. I suspect he might be in some “program” if you know what I mean. His Twitter account hasn’t been used since June of last year and he no longer blogs on HP as he used to.
He tried to bogart the Occupy movement and they weren’t having it. I remember he came on Randi Rhodes show and he tried to take over and monopolize the topic, not let her talk on her own show. She never had him on again because she found out what a fraud he was. He is just a Corporate Shrill trying to pose as a “regular” guy.

I am sick of the pundits and have decided not to watch any of them. All they keep doing is their continuation of “Obama must say this,” and “Obama must do this.” When will they get the message that President Obama does not take cues, or advice from them. I just get sick of them trying to insist that he do this or do that, or say this one way, or say that the other way. I can’t let them drag my spirit down.
I read an interesting captioned picture on Facebook suggesting that gun owners have to be drug tested since the Republicans keep on insisting that people who receive Food Stamps, and unemployment should have to be drug tested. If anybody made this suggestion, they would blow a gasket.

Yep, the L.A. Times had the 2009 Inaugural at 1.8 million but probably closer to over 2 million. President Obama had 10 inaugural balls, Clinton had the most 14 inaugural balls the first one and 11 balls in the 2nd term. Clintons crowd was 800K. GWB held seven and his crowd was 500K.

What the media fails to say however, is that GWB’s 2nd inauguration was 450K and Clinton’s 2nd inaug was 250K. So no matter how low they try to go, PBO’s 2nd inaug will still exceed that of the most recent 2-term presidents BY FAR – DESPITE the fact that people have more forms of alternate access via internet, smartphones and wider choice of cable & broadcast TV channels !!!

Clay Pell in Providence RI…..Michelle is working at State Dept and Clay works in White House…National Security????….Melody Barnes was at wedding ……MICHELLE IS AN OBAMABOT……Michelle is the ONLY other person I have ever been obsessed with other than the whole Obama family….and now their worlds collide….Just how cool is that?
