What a great day. What a great achievement by saner voices. And what an awesome ride it has been.

I thank you all TOD’ers for your unwavering commitment to PBO / JB team and making it all happen (and for putting up with my lame jokes).

I thank our blog empress Chips for her tireless job of supporting, defending and promoting PBO and his ideals and doing it all with a fine sense of humor thereby raising our collective spirits and hopes. TOD is and will always be my most favorite blog and Chips, my most favorite blog hostess.

With my heartfelt best wishes for a great, historic and an awesome second Obama Presidency, I bid you all good bye with a pardonable proud sense of accomplishment.

You Took the Fine Time to Leave this TODville Village?

I now finally get the hole story……This place will not be the same without you. However, many posts later I understand WHY…..Time and Family commitments. It has been such a RIDE, indeed.

TODville is a Family. One never really leaves a Family. So on that…….you will be severely missed…..but Never ever forgotten. You and the rest of the TODville Villagers have made this site FUN…..Chips built it and You guys have furnished and decorated this place and a HOME…..warm welcoming HOME was Built.

Why, thank you Nena. Chips has led admirably in building a wonderful family of PBO supporters here. And I am proud and happy to be a part of the family. Through all the never seen before obstructionism from the thugs who were disgustingly aided by the fifth columnist fourth estate, we did the unimaginable.

I will always be a part of the TOD family which has wonderful members like you.

Am I right? The look on Mrs. Obama’s face at the end of the program was one of satisfaction and determination. We should keep that look in our minds, as we forge ahead.

    Thank you, Chips and TODville!

This is what America’s supposed to look like!

  151. 236 Dudette

The President reaches the top of the platform stairs on the way out, turn to witness the scene on the mall again and says to that family around him: “Let’s take one last look. We’re not going to see this again.” Always in the moment. Always!

    I love My President!

I had Current TV on in the background in my living room but had it muted. I have coffee in my Cup of Joe mug; hubby who is tearing up repeatedly, one older blonde female cat; one young black male cat = diversity! It is a great day! Beyonce is getting mucho attention! She is gorgeous and the First Family loves her.
