I must admit when I saw this skeet shootin’ photo of my awesome president, I could not stop howling. The president has such a powerful influence on all of us that I imagine a lot of folks are gonna give up their mag clips and killer bullets for clay dics. I love, love, love my president.
I understand how you feel but I think it’s a fantastic picture. A lot of people do skeet shooting, it’s relatively harmless, and it’s a favorite pastime for them. (I don’t understand all of it…but oh well) I like that they released it to send a big F U to the WH Press Corps who were concern trolling and trying to give legitimacy to the skeet truthers. I like how this white house screws with the infantile minds of the press and the rightwing. To purposely wait for the weekend and then release it, is just freaking hilarious.

To me it’s no big deal. There are sane responsible people who like to shoot guns , target practice, we need more of them to stand up and say hay I like my guns but there are somethings we can try to do to make sure guns don’t get in the wrong hands. I have never shot a gun. One have never been in my hands and I don’t feel that I missed out on anything.

The nutjobs reckoned PBO was lying when he said he often skeet-shooted (or whatever the hell it’s called) at Camp David, so they’ve released this photo from last August as a two fingers.

In the late 1960s, just a few Black men with their riffles at the states of the capitol steps in CA, brought about gun laws, first one since the 1930s.
They didn’t do it for they were pressured. They did it for those in rural areas where NRA use FEAR and blatant racism to get them to vote their ways. Men in those areas, not many would be changed……But Women, young folks are easier to listen to reasons.
I argued after the Dec 14, 2012 Newton, CT shootings that the Kids, if their parents allowed them, should be allowed to talk. That is what are needed. Tomorrow, 26 of those kids…..from Newton, would sing at the Super Bowl. The pressure is continuing. The doctor, Begg….the police chief, Gabby Giffords, etc are all speaking out. All these things help.
The beauty of this is that people are now recognizing that pres Obama is as real as he projects, speaks, and acts. Nothing fake. The more they trust him in these rural areas, the easier the Jungle Fever is broken and the temperature would be reduced to 98 degrees.

I disagree with all those who say that it was wrong of the WH to release this photo. In case you are not aware, this was not about silencing the NRA, or proving that PBO “loves” guns, but to make a mockery of the main stream media. Jessica Yellin (a high-ranking journalist and reporter) of CNN kept talking about not seeing any photos of PBO skeet-shooting, like our lives depended on it and the world would end if the media didn’t have a picture.
That was the point of this.
I recall quite a few people were upset when PBO released his long-form birth certificate, but in the end, who looked like the big fools? It wasn’t PBO or the WH. It was Donald Trump and the media, and even though some continued to insist that the form wasn’t real (e.g., Joe Arpaio), they were simply making themselves look more and more foolish.

I agree, Hopefruit. I don’t know what their reasoning was behind releasing this photo, but there is something very satisfying about seeing our “truth-teller” in chief in action again.

Personally, I’m not saying this release was ‘wrong’ or ‘right’. I’m not weighing its political impact, or no. My initial response was, and is, that I’m somewhat sorry the higher-ups released it. I’m sure past/future admin have their reasons, but part of me is so done with the idiots that their shenanigans don’t really move me to much anger any more so I tend to discount them very easily. Certainly the admin is working on a different plane (or plain) than I, but knowing that, I’m still personally sorry that they are ‘dialoguing’ with the idiots on this issue.

Yes, it’s a way to keep the RWNJ down – to keep their numbers from rising again. It’s a way to show those folks who are newly turned on to PBO that when PBO says something it’s the truth. PBO’s rising poll numbers are coming from folks who are now seeing him for the man he really is. We’ve always known that man, but putting a finger in the eye of the TPers and the RWNJs is necessary now. I am loving the tweets that Axe and Plouffe are sending out now. There is no holding back on the wit and sarcasm and they are not filtering themselves any longer. The more light we can show on the rats in the corner, the better we all are for it.

imagine if they did the basketball photo instead. the nutjobs and all the media would just start going even more crazy about this than they were, and “did he lie?!?” would be the major focus on all “the news” all the time. by releasing the photo now, they stopped this craziness right quick.
the only way i see the basketball photo working is if they wanted to bait them into the full-on freakout for a while, then release the skeet photo to try to embarrass “the news” and nutjobs more, but our president’s team knows they’ll never get any credit no matter what they do, so i’m glad they didn’t try to play games with this, and effectively put yet another manufactured “story” to bed.
Actually, this photo conforms to the MSM’s race-based stereotypes of what PBO can and cannot do. It would not be mocking them at all. And it would not advance his argument that one can use guns for recreational reasons and still be a strong advocate of sensible gun laws.
The other photo is a paradigm-shifting photo that PBO can shoot hoops AND guns recreationally, and any other thing that he pleases. AND he can still be a fierce advocate for gun legislation to keep our children safe. And to hell with anyone who has a problem with that.
You can’t just dismiss that reality, as much as I would LOVE to say “to hell with..”
I do believe that there is a strong racial component to the whole guns argument and opposition to PBO’s desire to enact such legislation. And it is true as you said that the MSM has race-based stereotyped PBO from day one, however, he is now trying to pass some very specific legislation related to gun control.
I also believe that a lot of his opposition lies with the notion that somehow he as a Black man can only think of guns as tools for crime, and not vehicles for recreation, and his whole agenda is about punishing people who use guns for recreation in order to prevent gun-related crime. Now the RWNJ’s will believe what they want to believe. But when you have WH Press corps pushing those arguments, we have to set them straight, and mock them if necessary.
I’m just saying to hell with trying to rebut the lies of those – and their friends in the media – who will NEVER accept PBO’s word on anything. So why even try engage them?

I know some aren’t happy about the release of this pic, but the WH probably discussed the pros and cons of releasing that photo and the pros outweighed the cons. The photo goes well with PBO’s message:’ you can still use guns, but with some sensible restrictions.’ The NRA idea is that PBO is a nancyboy who knows nothing about guns and shooting, who wants to take everyone’s guns because he’s a soshulist Kenyan. The statement in TNR and this pic shows that PBO has credibility when it comes to guns and it takes some of the ammunition out of the repukes and the NRA’s hands. This pic says: ‘I’ve used guns, I like using them for sports, just like anyone else, but I also realize that there are certain things we can do as a society to protect our futures and our children…..gun control. I’m not taking your guns, I’m trying to create a safer society.’ This makes him more credible in some of the more moderate gun owners eyes. It’s a myth buster, and they are more likely to listen—– I’m talking about average Americans here–the people PBO wants to activate to put pressure on congress—not the legal beagles over at the NRA and the asses in congress. Think about it, PBO will be out campaigning all over for gun control, this pic is his entry fee, it gives him access to people , towns, cities where he may not have been welcomed or heard. The release of this pic is a tool, kinda like when PBO was campaigning for tax hikes on the wealthy and he would throw in his 2 cents about not liking to pay taxes, but it’s something we had to do for our society. That gave him credibility. It showed that he wasn’t a tax hungry freak who just wanted to grab rich people’s money out of envy. He made sure to point out he was part of the 2%, grouched a little about paying taxes, then said, “but we gotta do it, guys. For the good of the country.” That got 60% of Americans on his side for tax hikes and the repukes had to go along with it. So it’s SSDT: Same shit, different technique.
To be honest, I’m just tired of the “Black person’s word is not good enough” syndrome that the public has, not only at historic levels with this president, but in general, throughout our history. And people have made careers out of portraying him as nothing more than a liar and fraud who cannot be trusted. Barack Obama graduates at the top of his class at Harvard, after editing the Law Review- and this is PUBLIC record, mind you- but it somehow becomes acceptable in the mainstream of politics to wonder and assume and accuse this man of being secretly dumb. A below-average slacker and/or trickster who only got into a good school because of affirmative action or other loopholes, and who is lying about his grades. Barack Obama tells you about his own life story in a book written long before he was on the national scene, but it takes multiple white authors penning Obama family bios, *confirming* what he already told you, for the public to take notice. The president tells you he was born in Hawaii, and his word is degraded to the point that legal and historical contracts are not enough to contain their hate. The president tells you what he did last week for fun, and he is roundly mocked…they demand photos to prove he did what he said he did in private, for leisure. What’s next…providing DNA test results to the public to prove he is the father of his own children? Maybe a sex tape to show that his happy married life is not just a sham. Or better yet, just have constant rolling footage from the residential quarters of the white house, so we can all know for sure that he works out in the morning, brushes his twice a day, and doesn’t sneak in a second dessert (because revealing FLOTUS & her “Let’s Move” campaign as frauds is its own separate industry…)
Certain facets of American society have vested interest in making sure that they control the narrative of individuals, especially exceptional individuals who go against the status quo. Anything that they cannon craft, or grasp for themselves, had to be distorted. And we’re seeing it happen in real time. And in that sense, I understand why the WH decides to release certain information like this). BTW, this isn’t just something that can be blamed on “the right wing” or “conspiracy theorists”or “southern racists.” It is in our media and in the way many of us have conditioned ourselves not to trust certain people. And in the end, while we all know that PBO is in a damned if you do/damned if you don’t situation, I still can’t help but feel uncomfortable whenever they feel they are obliged to play along with these people that so clearly hate the man.

I agree 100% with everything you said. But I do think, the release of this pic was intended to mock those questioning the President’s veracity. I doubt that the WH felt obligated to do so. However, now and then, It doesn’t hurt to make fun of racists, and show how idiotic they truly are.
I am not worried about the WH showing this photo. POB thinks about things very differently from the nutjobs when it has the potency of hitting these repubs in the gut with their trashing the Americans leader. POB has proved and proved himself as being a “truth-in chief” in his first term, and he is tired of the games. He has problems to solve, and he surely knows them better than we do. We do not see the briefings each morning. So let us get on board with the facts that we need to take a seat on his plane and help him go the the reasonable(only those will be a true and decent representative of the truth to this president) people of this nation and get this done.
President Obama surrounds himself with smart people. He has four more years to listen to these people, then mostly think about these answers and allow his brilliant mind to reasonable and decent to his core to move with facts and caution. POB is not perfect, nor are his WH advisers, but I am going to trust them on their straight forwardness of putting out the facts as they are sooner than later. I remember POB saying in an interview that he wished that he had come out and told the American people sooner in regards to some issues. Well, in my view, he is getting out in front. Now, he knows there are people in the MSM who will take this photo to hell and back, but he has put it out there for himself. Just like, (and I highly respect historia Michael Beschloss, and I will continue to respect him) had photos of previous presidents, surely we knew that their were photos of POB at Camp David. So let it rest and let us look at the larger picture. We have to get out there with “goodness in our spirits” “fire in our steps,” and “togetherness in our hearts” to help POB and VPOTUS get this done. We have work to do while we still try to enjoy our POTUS for the next four years.
Remember, we did not work as hard as we did for the first term and for getting the second term to allow this photo to get us derailed from the ‘get go.’ Hell No. We will stand with him, if we so choose. I choose to stand.
Now, one thing about this beautiful place, we can come and share and even disgree, but we still respect each other. I am sure that our hearts and minds are so sensitive because of what we all have gone through these past few months(and even months and years before all of this) that it is very difficult to continue to bring into our personal space and our family space here these images, but this is real life for us. Mostly, we have to process all of it in our own personal ways and try, by the grace of Almighty move with grace, love, respect, and the full throttles of our being to help our president with this very sensitive issues facing our nation. And I do believe that we all will do it.
It is just very difficult to see, but we love and care so much for our brilliant leader, and we will protect him in our thoughts, our writing, and ofcourse, our actions. I believe in my heart that our actions will prevail for the better for those who no longer can speak on this issue for themselves.

Exactly! The pic was not aimed at proving “cultural bonafides to conservatives.” Rather it was aimed at mocking people who questioned his veracity when he made a statement. Personally, I don’t think we support the President should make this into such a big deal.

I think after PBO released his long form, some talking head showed the percentage of Americans who believed, weren’t sure or were sure PBO was born here. The numbers before and after the release of the bert cert were astounding. It wasn’t just repukes who weren’t sure or didn’t believe, other people weren’t sure. It was ridiculous! After the release of the cert, the numbers went down and the right wing couldn’t use that argument against him to any effect anymore. Now a few birthers rant about it, but everyone knows its a lie so we laugh them off. I remembered how shocked I was that mainstream Americans could have any doubts that PBO was an American. I was initially sad PBO felt he had to release it, but after seeing that poll before and after, I was fucking relieved and disgusted.

I completely agree, and I didn’t mean to sound naive about the source of all this negativity. It’s obviously race-based. On the other hand, just so I don’t sound like a totally Negative Nelly, I have never before heard people speak so openly of their admiration for a president. In conversations with friends, coworkers, and acquaintances, folks have just come right out and expressed respect and yes, LOVE (they use that word!) for President Obama. He is indeed the perfect man at the perfect time, and some of us realize how very very lucky we are.

One of Leader Pelosi’s daughter interviewed some a while back from the South for Real Time with Bill Maher last year. When she pointed out that they were on gov’t benefit, they acknowledged but totally were agreeing of themselves getting the benefits as deserving them…..however, they were so disrespectful of those they claimed that were taking handouts.
Whether you like the photo or not, something to consider as was mentioned by lisa above, there are some middle-of-the-road conservatives that will not listen to PBO on a topic unless it looks like he’s getting jabs from the left and the right (I hear it from a lot of my conservative coworkers—many started agreeing with the President on increasing taxes on the 2% when he personalized his experiences while talking policy). This isn’t about FOX news or RWNJ’s—-this is about maybe 20 or 30% of rational people that could possibly help get gun safety legislation over the top. In addition, the “MSM” asked for this photo from Jay Carney and now they have it. The fact that everyone has a strong opinion is exactly the point, especially prior to his MN event on Monday. I personally like the President in 2nd term mode. He makes everyone loose their minds. I tell you one thing, the MSM is obsessed with the President no matter what he does. I am glad this pic of PBO came today while there is still snow on the ground (in winter) because it looks like the pic was shot in spring or summer, just to limit the range for the birthers to spin. The tighter the room is for them to spin, they dizzier they get.
The pic was taken in August (late summer) and in Maryland where trees are bare in the winter. So no one can claim that this pic was taken within the last two weeks.
HZ – it appears that both sites removed their stories. I got a “page not found” when I clicked on either link. I guess this is so embarrassing to the media, and now that the WH has actually released a picture, it’s even more of a humiliation to those “journalists.”

In the late 1960s, just a few Black men with their riffles at the states of the capitol steps in CA, brought about gun laws, first one since the 1930s.
They didn’t do it for they were pressured. They did it for those in rural areas where NRA use FEAR and blatant racism to get them to vote their ways. Men in those areas, not many would be changed……But Women, young folks are easier to listen to reasons.
I argued after the Dec 14, 2012 Newton, CT shootings that the Kids, if their parents allowed them, should be allowed to talk. That is what are needed. Tomorrow, 26 of those kids…..from Newton, would sing at the Super Bowl. The pressure is continuing. The doctor, Begg….the police chief, Gabby Giffords, etc are all speaking out. All these things help.
The beauty of this is that people are now recognizing that pres Obama is as real as he projects, speaks, and acts. Nothing fake. The more they trust him in these rural areas, the easier the Jungle Fever is broken and the temperature would be reduced to 98 degrees.

I disagree with all those who say that it was wrong of the WH to release this photo. In case you are not aware, this was not about silencing the NRA, or proving that PBO “loves” guns, but to make a mockery of the main stream media. Jessica Yellin (a high-ranking journalist and reporter) of CNN kept talking about not seeing any photos of PBO skeet-shooting, like our lives depended on it and the world would end if the media didn’t have a picture.

Personally, I’m not saying this release was ‘wrong’ or ‘right’. I’m not weighing its political impact, or no. My initial response was, and is, that I’m somewhat sorry the higher-ups released it. I’m sure past/future admin have their reasons, but part of me is so done with the idiots that their shenanigans don’t really move me to much anger any more so I tend to discount them very easily. Certainly the admin is working on a different plane (or plain) than I, but knowing that, I’m still personally sorry that they are ‘dialoguing’ with the idiots on this issue.

Yes, it’s a way to keep the RWNJ down – to keep their numbers from rising again. It’s a way to show those folks who are newly turned on to PBO that when PBO says something it’s the truth. PBO’s rising poll numbers are coming from folks who are now seeing him for the man he really is. We’ve always known that man, but putting a finger in the eye of the TPers and the RWNJs is necessary now. I am loving the tweets that Axe and Plouffe are sending out now. There is no holding back on the wit and sarcasm and they are not filtering themselves any longer. The more light we can show on the rats in the corner, the better we all are for it.

the only way i see the basketball photo working is if they wanted to bait them into the full-on freakout for a while, then release the skeet photo to try to embarrass “the news” and nutjobs more, but our president’s team knows they’ll never get any credit no matter what they do, so i’m glad they didn’t try to play games with this, and effectively put yet another manufactured “story” to bed.
Actually, this photo conforms to the MSM’s race-based stereotypes of what PBO can and cannot do. It would not be mocking them at all. And it would not advance his argument that one can use guns for recreational reasons and still be a strong advocate of sensible gun laws.

I do believe that there is a strong racial component to the whole guns argument and opposition to PBO’s desire to enact such legislation. And it is true as you said that the MSM has race-based stereotyped PBO from day one, however, he is now trying to pass some very specific legislation related to gun control.
I also believe that a lot of his opposition lies with the notion that somehow he as a Black man can only think of guns as tools for crime, and not vehicles for recreation, and his whole agenda is about punishing people who use guns for recreation in order to prevent gun-related crime. Now the RWNJ’s will believe what they want to believe. But when you have WH Press corps pushing those arguments, we have to set them straight, and mock them if necessary.
I’m just saying to hell with trying to rebut the lies of those – and their friends in the media – who will NEVER accept PBO’s word on anything. So why even try engage them?

I know some aren’t happy about the release of this pic, but the WH probably discussed the pros and cons of releasing that photo and the pros outweighed the cons. The photo goes well with PBO’s message:’ you can still use guns, but with some sensible restrictions.’ The NRA idea is that PBO is a nancyboy who knows nothing about guns and shooting, who wants to take everyone’s guns because he’s a soshulist Kenyan. The statement in TNR and this pic shows that PBO has credibility when it comes to guns and it takes some of the ammunition out of the repukes and the NRA’s hands. This pic says: ‘I’ve used guns, I like using them for sports, just like anyone else, but I also realize that there are certain things we can do as a society to protect our futures and our children…..gun control. I’m not taking your guns, I’m trying to create a safer society.’ This makes him more credible in some of the more moderate gun owners eyes. It’s a myth buster, and they are more likely to listen—– I’m talking about average Americans here–the people PBO wants to activate to put pressure on congress—not the legal beagles over at the NRA and the asses in congress. Think about it, PBO will be out campaigning all over for gun control, this pic is his entry fee, it gives him access to people , towns, cities where he may not have been welcomed or heard. The release of this pic is a tool, kinda like when PBO was campaigning for tax hikes on the wealthy and he would throw in his 2 cents about not liking to pay taxes, but it’s something we had to do for our society. That gave him credibility. It showed that he wasn’t a tax hungry freak who just wanted to grab rich people’s money out of envy. He made sure to point out he was part of the 2%, grouched a little about paying taxes, then said, “but we gotta do it, guys. For the good of the country.” That got 60% of Americans on his side for tax hikes and the repukes had to go along with it. So it’s SSDT: Same shit, different technique.

To be honest, I’m just tired of the “Black person’s word is not good enough” syndrome that the public has, not only at historic levels with this president, but in general, throughout our history. And people have made careers out of portraying him as nothing more than a liar and fraud who cannot be trusted. Barack Obama graduates at the top of his class at Harvard, after editing the Law Review- and this is PUBLIC record, mind you- but it somehow becomes acceptable in the mainstream of politics to wonder and assume and accuse this man of being secretly dumb. A below-average slacker and/or trickster who only got into a good school because of affirmative action or other loopholes, and who is lying about his grades. Barack Obama tells you about his own life story in a book written long before he was on the national scene, but it takes multiple white authors penning Obama family bios, *confirming* what he already told you, for the public to take notice. The president tells you he was born in Hawaii, and his word is degraded to the point that legal and historical contracts are not enough to contain their hate. The president tells you what he did last week for fun, and he is roundly mocked…they demand photos to prove he did what he said he did in private, for leisure. What’s next…providing DNA test results to the public to prove he is the father of his own children? Maybe a sex tape to show that his happy married life is not just a sham. Or better yet, just have constant rolling footage from the residential quarters of the white house, so we can all know for sure that he works out in the morning, brushes his twice a day, and doesn’t sneak in a second dessert (because revealing FLOTUS & her “Let’s Move” campaign as frauds is its own separate industry…)
Certain facets of American society have vested interest in making sure that they control the narrative of individuals, especially exceptional individuals who go against the status quo. I remember POB saying in an interview that he wished that he had come out and told the American people sooner in regards to some issues. Well, in my view, he is getting out in front. Now, he knows there are people in the MSM who will take this photo to hell and back, but he has put it out there for himself. Just like, (and I highly respect historia Michael Beschloss, and I will continue to respect him) had photos of previous presidents, surely we knew that their were photos of POB at Camp David. So let it rest and let us look at the larger picture. We have to get out there with “goodness in our spirits” “fire in our steps,” and “togetherness in our hearts” to help POB and VPOTUS get this done. We have work to do while we still try to enjoy our POTUS for the next four years.
Remember, we did not work as hard as we did for the first term and for getting the second term to allow this photo to get us derailed from the ‘get go.’ Hell No. We will stand with him, if we so choose. I choose to stand.

I am sure that our hearts and minds are so sensitive because of what we all have gone through these past few months(and even months and years before all of this) that it is very difficult to continue to bring into our personal space and our family space here these images, but this is real life for us. Mostly, we have to process all of it in our own personal ways and try, by the grace of Almighty move with grace, love, respect, and the full throttles of our being to help our president with this very sensitive issues facing our nation. And I do believe that we all will do it.
It is just very difficult to see, but we love and care so much for our brilliant leader, and we will protect him in our thoughts, our writing, and ofcourse, our actions. This is an ignorant tweet by Jamil Smith. The President likes to skeet shoot. It’s not like he’s holding an AR-15. Millions of Americans like to skeet shoot. It’s a favorite recreational pastime (though not for everyone). It wasn’t just rightwing nut jobs that were “skeet truthers” the media (Jamil Smith’s colleagues that he refuses to demand they portray higher journalistic standards) was part of it as well. He did the same thing with the birthers and the media and proved them foolish. They all ended up the laughing stock of reasonable Americans. Why should he be ashamed to hide the fact that he likes skeet shooting? The white house always weighs the pros and cons of anything they’re thinking of doing before they act on it. If anything, it gives the president more legitimacy when he argues for saner gun laws. He’s just like millions of Americans who like skeet shooting or want a shotgun for protection but also support universal background checks and stricter regulation of assault weapons and magazines/clips. This is one more prick in the NRA’s holier than thou BS balloon.

I was initially sad PBO felt he had to release it, but after seeing that poll before and after, I was fucking relieved and disgusted.

I completely agree, and I didn’t mean to sound naive about the source of all this negativity. It’s obviously race-based. On the other hand, just so I don’t sound like a totally Negative Nelly, I have never before heard people speak so openly of their admiration for a president. In conversations with friends, coworkers, and acquaintances, folks have just come right out and expressed respect and yes, LOVE (they use that word!) for President Obama. He is indeed the perfect man at the perfect time, and some of us realize how very very lucky we are.

Fact is, I’ve fired all kinds of guns through the first ~ 20 years of my life. Haven’t touched one since. But when you are raised with them and literally have fired thousands of rounds of ammunition, you know when you’re looking at someone very comfortable firing a gun. That dude is probably a remarkably good skeet shooter.

Although I know most people support their own local teachers, it is very disheartening to hear the public voices constantly criticizing us for wanting to make a living wage, being too stupid/lazy to do anything else, crushing children’s spirit and conversely not disciplining them enough. And the big thing I hear nowadays – we aren’t teaching handwriting anymore! Oh no! So to hear you support us loudly, beautifully, and publicly was just balm to me.

One of Leader Pelosi’s daughter interviewed some a while back from the South for Real Time with Bill Maher last year. When she pointed out that they were on gov’t benefit, they acknowledged but totally were agreeing of themselves getting the benefits as deserving them…..however, they were so disrespectful of those they claimed that were taking handouts.
Whether you like the photo or not, something to consider as was mentioned by lisa above, there are some middle-of-the-road conservatives that will not listen to PBO on a topic unless it looks like he’s getting jabs from the left and the right (I hear it from a lot of my conservative coworkers—many started agreeing with the President on increasing taxes on the 2% when he personalized his experiences while talking policy). This isn’t about FOX news or RWNJ’s—-this is about maybe 20 or 30% of rational people that could possibly help get gun safety legislation over the top. In addition, the “MSM” asked for this photo from Jay Carney and now they have it. The fact that everyone has a strong opinion is exactly the point, especially prior to his MN event on Monday. I personally like the President in 2nd term mode. He makes everyone loose their minds. I tell you one thing, the MSM is obsessed with the President no matter what he does. (Personally, I don’t get a great feeling seeing PBO in the photo, but the man takes risks and I truly admire him for that and how politically savvy he is. I think he really wants to get this legislation through and is haunted by Newtown, Chicago, and all the other slayings. If twitter and folks lose their minds in the process, so be it).

I am glad this pic of PBO came today while there is still snow on the ground (in winter) because it looks like the pic was shot in spring or summer, just to limit the range for the birthers to spin. The tighter the room is for them to spin, they dizzier they get.
The pic was taken in August (late summer) and in Maryland where trees are bare in the winter. So no one can claim that this pic was taken within the last two weeks.

HZ – it appears that both sites removed their stories. I got a “page not found” when I clicked on either link. I guess this is so embarrassing to the media, and now that the WH has actually released a picture, it’s even more of a humiliation to those “journalists.”
