Thanks. I call our boat Noah’s Ark. We have six four legged babies now that we are empty nesters. Hubby had to refinish some of the wood. He really enjoyed it. But those original parts for a CrisCraft are expensive. Most of it is mahogany. I wish I could still water ski.

Google- USS CONSTANT- MSO 427. Home port, Long Beach, CA. I was in her for 2 years. She was classified as an ocean going minesweeper which meant it was sea worthy for ALL bodies of water.

In the ’60′s and ’70′s the minesweeping vessels were all made of wood. However, mine was about 165 ft with a crew of 65 men.
