To be honest, we probably know 1% of everything that’s going on in this part of the world and what the Administration is doing. The media doesn’t report on it unless it’s somehow to taint the Administration. So, as far as I’m concerned, this is one area where the President has earned his bona fides, and I trust that he’s doing the right thing with whatever options he’s got available to him.

The GOP don’t necessarily want to kill the poor via starvation, because they need the poor to work as a sort of slave class. They want people – both the poor and those at the lower end of the middle class spectrum – to be so desperate that they accept anything that’s offered to them. They also want to fill their private prisons so that they can eliminate voters, and make money at the same time.

GOP: “Eliminate the minimum wage because it will create more jobs”.
Us: Really? Where the evidence of that?

GOP: “Put children to work because they need to learn the dignity of work”.
Us: But they’re children – shouldn’t they be learning the tools that will ensure they’re in a position to take decent jobs and contribute significantly to the economy?

GOP: “We can’t raise taxes on the rich, because they’re the job creators”.
Us: Again, where’s the evidence of that? Because they’ve had lower tax rates for the last several years, and no jobs to show for it.

It’s amazing that people fall for this crap.
