What pictures. Feel the love! We are blessed to be here at TOD. I am so sorry that because of our msm and the hatred more folks don’t see what we see every day.

Spent the last 15 min listening to some CPAC Panel and I swear I do not know of this Obama guy they talking about. Now up is Dnesh D-nutjob with his Kenyan socialist secret muslim meme. My God – this stuff did not work 4 years ago 3 years ago …

hi TOD family
went to the ER and got there at 11:30 am and didn’t see a doctor until 10:15 last night.Got tests done and it was determined that I will need surgery, soon. They’ve figured I can wait a few more weeks, unless everything goes to hell (I hope not) Was given meds to keep it in check and I am on a list to have a laparascopy done instead. Will get a call from general surgeon in a week or 2 and then will schedule surgery to remove gallbladder (if this bursts inside the bile will eat the tissues) and gallstones due to meds …
I am off all the medications as of now, needless to say I am in pain.Been on my back for weeks now and will continue to take it easy until they get this thing out of my body;can’t say that I am looking forward a 2nd surgery in less than 4 months but excuse my French but that pain sucks monkey balls
I’ll log on whenever I can to check on the site,Chips and everyone else
have a great weekend and thanks for the prayers I needed them
until next time
Fred
Take good care of yourself until the surgery Fred. I had that laporoscopic surgery for gall bladder about 14 years ago…..so wonderful not to have that painful thing inside me! I have had NO trouble digestively since that surgery. I had to wait for my surgery after my last flareup too. I just ate very little, and did only what I had to. Basically I ate a few bland things to keep another flareup from happening. I had to wait over Thanksgiving….I remember I ate a few mashed potatoes, and that was about it, maybe a bit of white meat. However, my doctor, like yours, had warned me that if I had another attack, they’d have to do emergency surgery, and that wasn’t what I wanted. So, I obeyed my doctor and had the laporoscopic surgery. (I had to wait until the end of the semester for mine.)
You will be amazed and thrilled at how well you will feel afterwards.
Although not my experience – very similar to one of my close family – life changing and very successful – take care Fred – can only get better from here.
Be well, Fred:) You’ll feel much better after your surgery, I’m sure….you’ve been through so much these past few years….Mom ok? Thinking of you. Keep us posted.
I’m sorry you are in so much pain. I hope the surgery finally eases your pain. Healing prayers and thoughts for you, FormerlyFred. I lit a candle for you. Thanks for the link, MightyPamela.

Eff you, Ben Carson. There is nothing as bad as an educated douche bag. This guy came from a broken home and a poor one at that, and now he has the gall a of talking ill of a system that availed him a home and tution? Talk about shutting the door behind you as you are safely on the otherside.
Ben Carson is Herman Cain with a doctor degree. The nasty right wing racists Republicans have found them another black face to run around criticizing President Obama. But black America will not be fool by them or Ben Carson.
That is how people are who are feel with hate. They have to take every little chance they get to attack President Obama. Sara Palin step away from your teleprompter and kiss my. Let me stop, I will not say it.
Sarah Palin, why don’t she tell those lying do nothing Republicans to stop protecting the rich and do something to help the poor and middle class. And start putting the welfare of this country ahead of their racists party.
seems it’s been out of control for a long time. perhaps the reporting is beginning to catch up with the prevalence of the crime. like with gun violence in america, when people started paying attention and actually counting the number of victims, there was no stopping the movement for change. exposing this disgusting behavior is essential. the whole world is watching–everywhere.
The problem especially in India, where there are cast systems still in place, is the women of most prominence (i.e. Indira Ghandi) stay silent. This only got media attention after citizens took to the streets in the second incident on a bus 2 months ago. Subsequently one of the “suspects” committed suicide in jail last week. But there were 8-10 that were involved, both times on the buses. My parents friends, who live in a very nice neighboorhood in India were robbed last week, police showed up and said there is nothing they can do. Didn’t even take a statement…
a blk man stood up and asked a question about how to get blk folks away from the liberals (paraphrasing)…leads me to say….that a blk man at CPAC is like a blk man who carries his own rope to a Klan lynching…

Hey TPGOP, answer me this: If we cut civil service jobs to eliminate their high pension costs, WHY are we paying into defined benefit pension fund for DOD contractors?????
This week the GOP House Repubs voted unanimously against raising the minimum wage. Selfish greedy MFs!!!!!
Can’t we hang this around each and every one of their necks when we campaign for 2014?
“Your Congressperson _________ voted against giving workers a decent wage. Is that what you want? A large population that can’t take care of itself?”
Similarly “Your Congressperson ————————-wants to limit health care for women. Is that what you want? Women unable to properly care for themselves and their children?”
yes! i’d be interested to know how many aides and publicists and administrative assistants and legal advisers and drivers (and on and on) that we the people are paying to help the rethugs in congress. what are they being paid? what is their retirement plan, their health benefit plan, their vacation benefit plan? how is the sequester affecting congress in their own offices? and how is it that americans who aren’t worth a raise in the minimum wage are having to pay taxes to support this level of congressional luxury?
Good news: I attended one of three OFA meetings we had here in Knoxville this afternoon. Don’t know the attendance at the others but we had 20-22 at ours and there were 4 people who had never been to anything like this…..have not been involved other than voting. They all said, “Enough.” One woman said she was tired of yelling at the TV, sitting on her butt and nothing changing and realized THAT was part of the problem. How ’bout that? Also, our leader told us that our “little” RED area was one of the MOST active of any state/area during the election. Even though PO didn’t win NC, every county we called went for him and, therefore, helped increase his popular vote. Also, they are using TN and NY as two of the main test states for getting OFA going. We wrote letters to our three DC reps and a group will gather downtown Wednesday–press WILL be there–and the letters will be delivered to the local offices for the three reps. (Letters regarding the sequester. We could pick our own issue/topic to write about.) We also wrote letters (that another lady took to mail) to Gov. Haslam. He will be making the decision regarding Medicaid expansion for TN within the next 2-3 weeks. I think many of us will also be making calls to him and our state rep. I know I will be doing that!
I am thrilled to hear of your OFA work in TN! Our team in OR is having a letter-writing workshop tomorrow and a sequester protest rally on Wednesday. We have new people refreshing our ranks as well as veterans carrying on the work. You make an excellent point about how good it feels to take action and speak out in support of President Obama’s priorities!
great job!! that’s what it’s all about, and president obama says so too all the time. more people need to get off the internet and tv fretting about all the carefully constucted media messaging designed to demoralize us, and get down to their local office of o.f.a. or democratic party, and do the physical work it takes to win elections, and we’ll need every last person to get back the House in 2014. forward!!!
You said it 4 more. The job to be done doesn’t start or end with tv or the internet. It starts in our own communities where we work block by block, neighborhood by neighborhood to tell the truth and stir people to become citizens once again. And it never ends, not in odd numbered election years when local offices are at stake, not in mid years when the Congress is at stake and not in presidential years, even when President Obama isn’t running. It really never ends if we want a democracy that’s worth living in.
MSM recoiled at reporting the Iraq War protests during GWB disaster, preferring to show the looniest protesters (e.g., burning GWB in effigy) while never admitting the POTUS adm fraud that the MSM lapped up.

‘ Bob Parry is one of the unknown heroes of this business of mine. Almost alone, he stood against the Reagan era foreign policy at the height of Saint Ronnie’s popularity, bringing the truth about the savagery that administration and its clients were bringing down on the people of Central America. He is still dogging the general scandal of Iran-Contra to this day and, since I think the non-prosecution of that episode, and the successful stonewalling by both Reagan and George H.W. Bush, was a decisive turning point in getting us to where we were when we launched the Iraq fiasco, I applaud him for that. He stayed true to his calling, never wrote a bad book about John Belushi, and didn’t get scared even when he actually was threatened by White House operatives. ‘
Stay on it, Susanne. No matter what anyone tries to deny or pretend, until We the People bring certain people to justice we will be diminished as a Nation and as a force for good in the world.
yes we can! these revelations prove the absolute necessity of an intelligent, courageous, tenacious, and de-politicised free press. without someone digging, these crimes would remain hidden.
Please consider featuring it in one of your upcoming TOD posts (LL – lots of material for at least one, if not more, of your fine TPV essays).
Critical message, and one ALL Americans need to be apprised:
”
So, the beloved saying took shape: “the cover-up is worse than the crime.” And Official Washington hates to rethink some history that is considered already settled. In this case, it would make too many important people who have expounded on the “worse” part of Watergate, i.e. the cover-up, look stupid. [For details, see Robert Parry’sAmerica’s Stolen Narrative.]
The major newspapers have been equally unwilling to rethink the origins – and the significance – of the October Surprise/Iran-Contra scandal. It doesn’t matter how much new evidence accumulates. It remains much easier to continue the politically safe deification of “Gipper” Reagan and the fond remembrances of “Poppy” Bush.
Not only would rethinking Iran-Contra and Watergate stir up anger and abuse from Republican operatives and the Right, but the process would reflect badly on many journalists and historians who built careers, in part, by getting these important historical stories wrong.
However, there must come a point when the weight of the new evidence makes the old interpretations of these scandals intellectually untenable and when treasured sayings – like “the cover-up is worse than the crime” – are swept into the historical dustbin.”
As long as we tolerate distortion of the truth, more and more innocent people will die and more and more of our core values will be eroded.
Must say this. I dearly love and appreciate the Obama AND Biden families. I am sooooo grateful for such a cool blog as this where we can enjoy all good things Obama. Anyone who does not like them need not come by here and also need to step off and realize what a terrific President and Vice-President we have. This is the place where you get great love for our beloved leaders and give great love.I thank God for this blog and am grateful to the kind spirits here. I will continue to pray for them also and I know that we here always have their backs. I am with the cool crowd and am proud of it.

‘ Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) won the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) straw poll on Saturday, an outcome largely expected by those in attendance, but one that will give him added legitimacy as he seeks to expand his appeal to compete on the national stage in 2016. ‘
