    So there is this:

Historic first woman director of the Secret Service. The article as a whole makes me a little nervous about our president. With threats against him so high, this makes the whole Service sounds sloppy.

If he wins – after what he did – the GOP has turned completely 180 degrees in their view of “morality”. Seems if the black guy in the white house respects all their “family values” – the GOP thinks adultery/absence from government and abandoning wife & children is fine – not to mention lying about it all.

Now – what we need is President Obama to become anti abortion anti women and pro ultrasounds for no good reason – and the GOP will start to elect pro choice politicians – why didn’t anyone think of that!

Aww, the Black couple with the sextuplets have a show in TLC!!!! It’s on now! She was initially pregnantt with twins, but she lost them at 19weeks. So they prayed on it and got pregnant again & doctor told them there was 6 heartbeats. Dad’s first thought was “wow, did I pray too much?m

    Aww!

I tell ya what, the difference between this family, even aside from the obvious, and the other “multiple” family reality shows is huge in terms of lifestyles

OMG! $800 for food, $350 for diapers & wipes, $200-300 for extra items!!!! Total monthly budget…$1450!!!!

What is up with these old fart designers taking their swap at our First Lady. Now it’s Da La Renta running his mouth. I was fishing over there at Huff Puff and I saw a article were he was talking about FLOTUS. He said he doesn’t worry about dressing movie stars and First Ladies, his clothes is for the average woman on the street. A lying bastard he is, because the average woman on the street can’t afford his clothes. He said something about FLOTUS wearing a sweater when she met the Queen. To me these designers are just piss, no not piss, they are mad that our wonderful First Lady won’t waste her time with their designs. Oh yea, the Queen must didn’t mind the sweater, after all the President and First Lady went back to see the Queen and they spent the night in Buckingham Palace. Where is the class these designers profess to have?

    • March 26, 2013 at 10:44 pm

Oh, he made a remark about what she wore when she met the Queen. The Queen asked her about her shoes ’cause she liked them. He is jealous. Don’t read that stuff on HuffPo unless you want to get made. Stay happy.

I wish I could tell these clowns to back off of FLOTUS. I love and respect FLOTUS, and it’s not because of what kind of clothes she wear. It’s because of the intelligent, caring, loving, funny, kind person she is.

Sour grapes. However, FLOTUS did not hold it against him when he made the sweater comment four years ago because she later wore a red dress that was designed by De La Renta’s son. She is about what is fresh, current, and youthful. She is helping young, relatively unknown designers, not kowtowing to the old has-beens who would have looked on her with disdain if pre-presidency days she had walked into their ateliers. Vera Wang said once wistfully, “I wish that she would give us a chance.” Michelle is the most famous woman inn the world; any designer would consider it a great coup to dress her. De La Renta should take the stench of his disappointment away and retire to enjoy his millions. FLOTUS does not need hiim.

And isn’t it interesting, Anniebella, that when Michelle Obama wears sweaters, she actually revives their popularity. She has turned an ordinary piece of clothing–the sweater–into something versatile, beautiful and always appropriate. I look at my own sweaters in a new light since she’s been FLOTUS. I can’t say that I have ever been inspired by anything De La Renta ever designed. It galls him that Michelle Obama has such enormous influence on the real fashion world–what ordinary people wear.

        March 27, 2013 at 9:56 am

jackie, I see FLOTUS fashion influence every where, the sweater, the sleeveless dresses, the belts, and other things. The bottom line is that these designers feelings are hurt because this First Lady has ignored them. How dare she ignore the great Oscar De La Renta, that is what is in his head. Who do she think she is? Don’t she know who I am, I’ve design for Jackie, Nancy, Barbara, Laura,Hillary and to that I say, you will not be designing for Michelle.

    DESIGNING OBAMA:

// The Obama presidential campaign was an innovation in American politics and American design. For the first time, a candidate used art and design to bring together the American people—capturing their voices in a visual way. The Design Director of the Obama campaign, Scott Thomas, has collaborated with artists and designers to create Designing Obama, a chronicle of the art from the historic campaign.
Get the inside story on how design was used by the campaign, trace the emergence of ideas and images over the course of the election, and scope out the amazing art created by artists and grassroots supporters. It’s the definitive account of the vision of thousands of people across the United States—all in one volume.

Using the same grassroots fundraising model as the campaign, the book was created through Kickstarter, a new company dedicated to funding creative endeavors through small donations by committed individuals. Using the Obama fundraising model was the perfect way to insure the book’s quality and integrity. People around the country supported the book, funded its creation, and changed the way we think about publishing. Now you can be part of the revolution. The 336-page hand-crafted book is hardbound with an embossed sleeve, and printed in a vivid six-color process. //

    • March 27, 2013 at 1:16 am

Justice Elena Kagan was so on point today about marriage is to preserve procreation……no couple over the age of creating children as a couple should be allowed to get married and those that can no longer or choice to no longer have children be required to divorce? What is the purpose of marriage if you are not constantly creating children. Only Jim Bob and Michelle Dugger would be allowed to be married.

      • March 27, 2013 at 1:58 am

      • 86 jackiegrumbacher
        March 27, 2013 at 7:49 am

It’s beyond stupid, jojo, and a totally unsustainable premise. The reasons why people marry is not the justice’s business and there is no conceivable way you could screen marriage licenses based on a couple’s fertility –it would effectively end marriage as an institution. It’s depressing that such a level of idiocy goes on in the Supreme Court. The only people with common sense on SCOTUS seem to be the more liberal ones. Scalia, Alito, Thomas and even Kennedy seem like dolts.

Yes, I’ve read about this too. I am concerned that there is a leak in the Secret Service. I’m hoping the new director will tighten and clean the service up. There is no excuse for this knowledge to get out to a journalist. How else would they know? Those “journalists” aren’t true investigators, they are following up on someone’s tip. We learned a lot about the SS when the president went to Colombia and some of them behaved so reprehensibly. Evidently it had become a good time boys’ club when the president traveled. I think some more heads need to roll in the service.

The internet around the world has been slowed down in what security experts are describing as the biggest cyber-attack in history.

A row between a spam-fighting group and hosting firm has sparked retaliation attacks flooding core infrastructure.

It is having an impact on widely used services like Netflix – and experts worry it could escalate to affect banking and email services.

Five national cyber-police-forces are investigating the attacks.

Spamhaus, a group based in both London and Geneva, is a non-profit organisation which aims to help email providers filter out spam and other unwanted content.

To do this, the group maintains a number of blocklists – a database of servers known to be being used for malicious purposes.

Recently, Spamhaus blocked servers maintained by Cyberbunker, a Dutch web host which states it will host anything with the exception of child pornography or terrorism-related material.

Sven Olaf Kamphuis, who claims to be a spokesman for Cyberbunker, said, in a message, that Spamhaus was abusing its position, and should not be allowed to decide “what goes and does not go on the internet”.

Spamhaus has alleged that Cyberbunker, in cooperation with “criminal gangs” from Eastern Europe and Russia, is behind the attack.

Cyberbunker has as yet offered no reply to the BBC when contacted directly.

PHOENIX (AP) — Hundreds of pages of police reports in the investigation of the Tucson shooting rampage that wounded former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords are being released Wednesday, marking the public’s first glimpse into documents that authorities have kept private since the attack more than two years ago.

The Pima County sheriff’s department will release an estimated 2,700 pages of records from the January 2011 shooting at a meet-and-greet event outside a grocery store that killed six people and wounded Giffords and 11 others. The documents include transcribed interviews with witnesses, various police reports and other records, and could provide new insight into how the shooting occurred.
