No wonder Republicans and the unethical media are pushing fake scandals. They don’t want people to know about the good economic news. There is also good news on the housing front.

On Thursday, May 23, in response to President Obama’s call to expand opportunities for youth employment, Jewell and Portland Mayor Charlie Hales will announce 22 conservation projects across the country that have been awarded funding through an innovative public-private partnership with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) that will create youth employment opportunities. During the visit, Jewell and Hales will join members of the Northwest Youth Corps on a service project in an urban park in Portland.
On Friday she will join with Oregon’s governor and a top Washington State official to sign an agreement to “expedite the review and permitting of energy generation, power transmission and other vital infrastructure projects in the Pacific Northwest,” the advisory states.

My first date with my husband was a Carol King concert at Oberlin in 1968. We used her song, “What I’ll Give you Since You Asked” in our wedding.

I looked at the link, and don’t totally understand what it says, but get the big picture.
The comments are really rejoicing at the MSNBC fall, and you can tell they are right wingers. They see it as a loss for the President for MSNBC to fall. I don’t ever watch during the day, but someone said that how can they call themselves a news station, when the other stations were reporting on that horrible murder in London, and Bashir just kept on with talking about the IRS.
Two years ago when the President went to England, MSNBC covered his whole trip, his speech to parliament, the Queen’s welcoming ceremony, the dinners, etc. What has happened to them? If they don’t do news, they have no reason to exist. Someone commented that HLN was ahead of MSNBC.
I think we know why it is tanking, but I’m not sure the owners and producers do. If they just try to be FOX lite, they will tank more. One station does that stuff, and no more is needed. Copycats just never make it.

      • 67 Nena20409
        May 22, 2013 at 9:14 pm

They are tanking for they have betrayed what they started out with. Loading rightwingers and making changes when those watching were not asking for them…..well, that is a problem. They trash pres Obama 24/7 from 4:30 am CT to 1:00 CT and then SE Cupp. They will learn or go bust like TeaNN.

Chris Hayes is Not Keith Olbermann. No matter how much they promote him. He is tanking the prime time lineup. I will not be surprised if LOD leaves. He said the year Keith Olbermann was fired that he could not see himself doing this job for more than 3 yrs. That was in 2010. Hmm?

I thought that there was a new owner of MSNBC awhile back. I also thought there were comments about potential changes due to a different political slant of the new owner. I read all of that on this site, but do not remember if it were a couple of years ago or more.
