That’s fantastic LP!!!!!!
Thanks Chips, I thought you especially would get a kick out that awesome photo :)
Chipsticks, I have a feeling NSA has been following me for quite some time. I’ve been banned from so many places, restaurants, department stores, etc
Oh dear! What have you been up to? And where are we to meet if you are banned everywhere? And do they also ban your friends when they show up with you?
I use my friends as bait for me to gain entrance again :D
Have I told you how HAPPY I am that you’ve come to town??
You have, and you have made me feel really happy (a great feat there GGail ;) ) that I came. THANKS!
Well, you and I have been on this TOD journey with Chipsticks for quite some time – it’ll be nice to kick it with you
I’ve sent you a couple of emails but they really are going slower than I’d have thought.
I’m wrapping up to go home
Look out LA!!!!
I would consider it an honor if NSA had been following me. I thought after my Sarah Palin “activities” (as in no Sarah Palin, no way) I would even be visited by men wearing suits, but alas, I must have been too “careful” in my posts, etc.
POTUS can be so smooth sometimes
Absolutely stellar coverage of the President’s trip to the Northeast.
So glad he’s and the VP are able to do this together, when the weather’s warm and not have to worry about floods or blizzards.
UTA’s Rise and Shine was one of the best ever. Loved it.
Love when the president is live. It has been a fun two days. Back to Washington….
I see tweets that NBC/CBS are reporting that U.S. Naval Command has ordered warships to move in place for a possible cruise missile attack on Syria.
Tomahawks are very accurate. They need eyes on target though! So, we are there, on the ground?
Good evening evrybody.
alright I’m off to take a power nap. tonight is party night for the LAMH fam in NOLA. it time for the double party for my 2 twin aunt and uncles (1 boy girl & 1 boy boy) who were all born on the same day just years apart.
I need to catch up on some sleep so I can enjoy the all night party (it starts at 10pm).
so TGIF and hope everybody has a great night & good weekend.

Ooh! Ooh! Silver Fox!!
Yes! And Pete’s lapel decoration looks like he was on his way back from an Easter egg hunt or somethin’!
And to add to our good mood, a couple of items on Speaker Boehner.
I know he’s widely reviled here, but I kinda feel sorry for him and have a soft spot for Dayton, Ohio, where my Mom grew up.

I, for one, do not feel sorry for him at all!!! He made his bed now he can shit in it! That is the saying, right…lol
I’m with you, Layla! Arapaho is just being soft-hearted and kind ~ Boner has earned every bit of his demise, heck, he has worked hard for it, by doing NOTHING!!
Arapaho, Boehner needs a serious challenger in 2014. I wish the DCCC would come up with someone who could just put us all
out of our misery by not having to deal with this truly terrible man and his miserable performance as Speaker.
Just watch WWW. At the end of the vid, PBO said to the guy, “hand him a football, let’s see if he can still throw!” —— PBO is too much! he TRIED IT!  hahahahahahahahahahhahhahahahahahahaha!!! :)
Looooooooooooooved that bit too Lisa, cut it for this video:
Hope all’s good with you?
Thanks, Chips! I’m doing well, the past month’s just been hectic with trainings and orientations. I come home to eat and sleep so that’s why I haven’t been chatting as much. Hope everything’s been good for you too! :) also, best of all………. HAPPY WEEKEND!!!!!!! —-I’ve never meant it more. :)
Great to hear all’s good Lisa, although: sorry work is so nuts!!! A blissful weekend to you too!
Has PBO reached the WH yet? I just want him to be home with his wife, family and doggies!! I want him to rest a bit! He is such a good, good man!
There was no live streaming this time.
He’s home MightyP!
I just hope Sunny hasn’t trashed the place.

Get out the naughty mat. STAT!
He is one fauuuuuuuiiiiiiinnnnne man. He should the next batman. Although I like Ben Affleck, I am ok with him being batman. After all Michael Keaton was batman and I don’t remember the uproar over him. Ben Affleck is much better than Keaton.

Hi Alycee! How are you doing. I’m going to the March tomorrow with one of my friends from OFASJ. We were able to get on one of the NAACP buses that’s going from Mt. Laurel, NJ to DC. The bus is leaving at 3:30AM.

I totally choked up when POTUS started talking of his love for Joe. They are so great together.
Yes, oh my heart …. I love this so much; I love the two of them individually and together, it is so, so good, it is beyond belief that we could be this blessed with these two men together at the same time. I am religious enough to believe that it must have been predestined that we would have this. And their spouses …. wow .. such accomplished women who have chosen to be champions for the military, for soldiers and their families, both while serving and after, who have chose to champion our health in terms of eating right, moving, taking care of ourselves and others. It is unbelievable!
The love, respect, and admiration that they have for each other is so wonderful. They are a magnificent team and we are so blessed.
.Chips I hope you find this too worthy of the R&S tomorrow.

This might be a bit raw for some. Truth is sometimes painful
I will now go to my room and remember my own personal hurts and indignities of the past.
Nothing any of us could say will erase that, but there are no new hurts or indignities for you to expect here, Yardarm, that’s for sure.
We can all tell that you have overcome the past and its low expectations, and have been the master of your own destiny, and earned a share in this truth:

Changing subject, but has anyone seen the movie “Beasts of the Southern Wild?” Knowing how on top of things you all are, you’ve probably talked about it. Do yourself a favor, it’s on HBO now and it’s the best! That little girl from NOLA that was nominated for an Oscar has a big future in front of her. A natural actress. It’s one of those movies that stays with you; not the kind you can’t remember the plot a day later. In fact, it took me a couple days to see the truth and the power of the film.
Wish I knew how to post a picture. I’ve got to make an avatar of her awesome little face. Well, early dinner tonight. And I don’t have to cook, yippee!!
Oh, one more OT thing. On the DU, everyone is all about Manning. I feel for the kid, but hey, sometimes you screw up big time. I think he’ll be out before the 7 years. What’s getting me is that they’re all calling him Chelsea since that’s what name he wants. Well, I’d like to be a billionaire, but I don’t want to be called Donald. Is it just me? I’m sick of Manning, Snowden, Assange and GG and his wife, boyfriend, whatever the hell he is. Damn, they get stuck on one damn subject and my sorry brain starts to hurt!!
Happy Friday Eve to all and to all a good night! ;)
Thank you, damn she’s a fine little actress!
It’s an awesome movie and she is amazing. Also, FLOTUS is a big fan of this movie as well.
I watched that recently. It was phenomenal.
“This is probably controversial to say, but what the heck. I am in my second term, so I can say it,” Mr. Obama said at a town hall-style meeting at Binghamton University in New York. “I believe that law schools would probably be wise to think about being two years instead of three years.”
The president’s surprising remarks, made while discussing how to make education more affordable, come at a time of crisis for law schools. With an increasing number of graduates struggling with soaring tuition costs, heavy student debt and a difficult job market, a growing number of professors and administrators are pushing for broad reforms in legal education.
“We academics toil in the wilderness,” said Samuel Estreicher, a professor at the New York University School of Law leading a movement to permit students to take the bar exam and practice after two years. “It is great to have the president join the cause.”
Mr. Obama has plenty of credibility inside the legal academy. After graduating from Harvard Law School, where he served as the president of the Harvard Law Review, he taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago from 1992 until his election to the Senate in 2004.

Interesting post to me as my daughter got her law degree and practiced in DC before going to Munich. Also, my youngest daughter who just got married last weekend is now married to a man starting his third year at law school this Fall where PBO taught law in Chicago.
I would be interested in what their take on supplementing the 3rd yr. of law school is? Congrats on your daughters marriage as well!

Thought about this the other day, the X% of haters that hate the President live in, what about 8 states?

Good, HF. This woman is utterly delusional. She actually thinks that someone needs to get paid to
see that Greenwald is a fool and a liar. Some people actually call it as they see it and they don’t need the kind of monetary
incentive she does to do so.
