Chipsticks, I have a feeling NSA has been following me for quite some time. I’ve been banned from so many places, restaurants, department stores, etc

Absolutely stellar coverage of the President’s trip to the Northeast.

So glad he’s and the VP are able to do this together, when the weather’s warm and not have to worry about floods or blizzards.

UTA’s Rise and Shine was one of the best ever. Loved it.

I see tweets that NBC/CBS are reporting that U.S. Naval Command has ordered warships to move in place for a possible cruise missile attack on Syria.

And to add to our good mood, a couple of items on Speaker Boehner.

I know he’s widely reviled here, but I kinda feel sorry for him and have a soft spot for Dayton, Ohio, where my Mom grew up.

I’m with you, Layla! Arapaho is just being soft-hearted and kind ~ Boner has earned every bit of his demise, heck, he has worked hard for it, by doing NOTHING!!

Arapaho, Boehner needs a serious challenger in 2014. I wish the DCCC would come up with someone who could just put us all
out of our misery by not having to deal with this truly terrible man and his miserable performance as Speaker.

Yes, oh my heart …. I love this so much; I love the two of them individually and together, it is so, so good, it is beyond belief that we could be this blessed with these two men together at the same time. I am religious enough to believe that it must have been predestined that we would have this. And their spouses …. wow .. such accomplished women who have chosen to be champions for the military, for soldiers and their families, both while serving and after, who have chose to champion our health in terms of eating right, moving, taking care of ourselves and others. It is unbelievable!

The love, respect, and admiration that they have for each other is so wonderful. They are a magnificent team and we are so blessed.

.Chips I hope you find this too worthy of the R&S tomorrow.

“People will constantly attack you in life. One of their main goals will be to
instill in you doubts about yourself-your abilities, your potential.
But ultimaely it has a purpose. They want to keep you down.”

Nothing any of us could say will erase that, but there are no new hurts or indignities for you to expect here, Yardarm, that’s for sure.

We can all tell that you have overcome the past and its low expectations, and have been the master of your own destiny, and earned a share in this truth:

Changing subject, but has anyone seen the movie “Beasts of the Southern Wild?” Knowing how on top of things you all are, you’ve probably talked about it. Do yourself a favor, it’s on HBO now and it’s the best! That little girl from NOLA that was nominated for an Oscar has a big future in front of her. A natural actress. It’s one of those movies that stays with you; not the kind you can’t remember the plot a day later. In fact, it took me a couple days to see the truth and the power of the film.

Wish I knew how to post a picture. I’ve got to make an avatar of her awesome little face. Well, early dinner tonight. And I don’t have to cook, yippee!!

Oh, one more OT thing. On the DU, everyone is all about Manning. I feel for the kid, but hey, sometimes you screw up big time. I think he’ll be out before the 7 years. What’s getting me is that they’re all calling him Chelsea since that’s what name he wants. Well, I’d like to be a billionaire, but I don’t want to be called Donald. Is it just me? I’m sick of Manning, Snowden, Assange and GG and his wife, boyfriend, whatever the hell he is. Damn, they get stuck on one damn subject and my sorry brain starts to hurt!!

Happy Friday Eve to all and to all a good night! ;)

“This is probably controversial to say, but what the heck. I am in my second term, so I can say it,” Mr. Obama said at a town hall-style meeting at Binghamton University in New York. “I believe that law schools would probably be wise to think about being two years instead of three years.”

The president’s surprising remarks, made while discussing how to make education more affordable, come at a time of crisis for law schools. With an increasing number of graduates struggling with soaring tuition costs, heavy student debt and a difficult job market, a growing number of professors and administrators are pushing for broad reforms in legal education.

“We academics toil in the wilderness,” said Samuel Estreicher, a professor at the New York University School of Law leading a movement to permit students to take the bar exam and practice after two years. “It is great to have the president join the cause.”

Mr. Obama has plenty of credibility inside the legal academy. After graduating from Harvard Law School, where he served as the president of the Harvard Law Review, he taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago from 1992 until his election to the Senate in 2004.

Interesting post to me as my daughter got her law degree and practiced in DC before going to Munich. Also, my youngest daughter who just got married last weekend is now married to a man starting his third year at law school this Fall where PBO taught law in Chicago.

Good, HF. This woman is utterly delusional. She actually thinks that someone needs to get paid to
see that Greenwald is a fool and a liar. Some people actually call it as they see it and they don’t need the kind of monetary
incentive she does to do so.
