Did you guys watched the press briefing of the Senate democratic leadership ( Reid, Schumer, Durbin, Murray ) ? They all looked so serious. Exhausted, relieved, emotional. And disgusted about the whole sordid mess they had to go through.

I’m reading about “pork for Mitch McConnell” – did he have to GET PAID to do the right thing by his country – or am I not understanding – again?

    http://www.newsweek.com/exclusive-sp-was-minutes-marking-down-americas-debt-396

Like a troubled teenager, America is repeatedly self-harming. “It is simply not a characteristic of the most highly rated sovereigns that you have to worry about them not paying their debts,” Chambers said, noting that no nation has ever defaulted for such a ridiculous reason – political games of mutually assured destruction. “It is unheard of in a cohesive civil society, making it all the more puzzling and lamentable that we have these shenanigans over spending that has already been approved by Congress.”

Like people who cut themselves…self mutilators. I think I’ll send this to my ” default is no big deal” congressman. Fucker.

Booker now 55%-44%. Still uncounted counties are all where he is leading by 50 points.

In Indy spending the day meeting, holding and loving my new little grandbaby—-the sweetest, cutest, most precious little gal, 10 days old today. Then the relief and satisfying end of this ridiculous and completely unnecessary tea party caused debacle. A very good day.

MSNBC got to get rid of Chris Hayes – still shilling for the GOP after everything that has happened in the last month. He needs to go away and grow up

Thanks UT for honoring three of the most ethical, no drama, leaders who are indeed focused on moving this country forward!

After all this, why the heck did Boehner appoint 3 of 4 Reps to budget conference who voted FOR default? Only Cole voted in the majority to end this mess.
Paul Ryan, Tom Price and Diane Black voted for default and will not bargain in good faith.

POTUS, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are heroes! They make me so proud to be a Democrat! I’m extremely grateful to each of them.
