Yes We Can
Bob – Remember the “old days” (pre-Obama) when we’d all hope that Democrats would remember the RWNJ craziness all the way to the next election? I think Republicans are finally helping us out, since each and every day they do something crazier than the day before. They are relentless with the crazy.
And nobody can forget, because we are constantly reminded.
“I think Republicans are finally helping us out, since each and every day they do something crazier than the day before. They are relentless with the crazy.”
And, We Will Not Forget, Jacqueline!!!!
I dedicate this beautiful song to our First Couple as they dance the night away!!!

Niiiice, Utal! Just what’s needed to perk things up at this end. Thanks
Any pictures of the WH Halloween party?
Halloween is tomorrow not today. Those pictures will appear tomorrow after the white house has their annual neighborhood halloween event.
chin up, you’re already following me.
All very well, but I cannot SEND you a message (tho I’ve sent you two), OR collect one from you. I assume they have collected somewhere. I really hate when I put out the effort to try something and it does not fall into place.
See, that last message I sent shouldn’t have come through my old account! This time when I quit, you better not call me names!! Or try to get me going again by sending messages you know I cannot resist!!!!
@sonamie – Yup, got it.— gulpo rubio (@gulporubio) October 31, 2013
Seems like half the WH former/present are at the World Series right now……..can’t wait to see Pete’s pics. 6-1 Boston, Top of 7th right now, 2 out BL.

I love it! I hope the WH staff are having a blast.
Larry Lucchino, CEO of the Red Sox, is a big Democratic donor…… plus I can’t image the conversation Pete Souza had with the President. You getting on the plane? Uhhhhhh, I think I’m going to take a personal day tomorrow
“Um, Boss? Yeeeaaaahhh, the second string photographer is gonna have to take over tomorrow. Just don’t do anything too important.”
Air Force One must have been packed today (on the way to Boston, that is…)
good evening TOD. I’ve had a long day and I’ve got a cold, so I’m going to sleep early today. just wanted to share a video I found that made me smile.

Tomorrow is Halloween. Party, parade, everyone including me stuffed into costumes. Pray for me.

Just read it. That is one self-aware young man.
The only thing I could defend a former Crimson Tide player on……. He was probably the most highly touted linebacker to come out of the state of Alabama, since Karlos Dansby form Auburn in ’05.
In this image:
FLOTUS is thinking “Yes, I’m a badass. Got a problem?”
And PBO is thinking in response “Oh hell YEEAAH – you just show ‘em!!”
Also in that image, if we can divert our eyes from the First Couple, to Mrs. Obama’s right, sure looks at first glance like Ed Henry’s dancing with Chuck Todd. Although there’s NO WAY those two useless creeps would be in that ballroom!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahaha….yes it does look like Ed and Chuckles…
Hey, if Gregory can dance with Rove, eek, anything’s possible, right? Ha!
Oh, just can’t help it…..Boston Police need spell check…”perimeter” not “permitter”…..
Looks like the folk in Boston are going to have a very big party … and, after the horror of the marathon bombing they certainly deserve it!!!!!!
I’m so excited for the Red Sox, I can’t watch steadily…..I’m afraid I’ll jinx them! I was brought worshipping Ted Williams….he was gold in our house! I really didn’t know there was any other team for a long time….when I lived in Chicago as a girl, I learned there was one other team: the White Sox…..but they were not the idols and gods the Red Sox were!!!
Rooting for Boston! My cousin and her daughter are Bostonians and my grand nephew, a dedicated Obamabot, is a Harvard Law Student.
They should all be very happy tonight, nath!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn’t even read the tweets, because fuck, it’s Boston. Yes, I loathe the Yankees, but as one raised in NYC I cannot in good conscience root for any Boston team. Perimeter, permitter, whatever. Just don’t burn down the city.
“I cannot in good conscience root for any Boston team.”
Hater! You sound like all typical New Yorkers, including some of my family members.
to be honest, I can be happy for the Red Sox, BECAUSE I loathe the Yankees. But the Celtics? Sorry, no, Lakers Nation til I die.
L-A-M-E. Celtics over the Lakers any damn day of the week.
Hah! See you in June!
(Oh, who am I kidding. Both the Lakers and the Celtics will be done by April this season.)
carolyn – We’re all word snobs – don’t worry. My favorite is mentally correctly the spelling on billboards, when I’m driving around. Ha!
Speaking of mentally correcting billboards: There’s a new show on the CW called “Reign”, about Mary Queen of Scots, which I’m sure is awful. Why do I think this? Because the show’s billboards are all over L.A., showing the actress playing Mary flanked by two robust young men. The young man to her right is dressed appropriately for the time period. The man to her left, however, is wearing a tunic out of the Napoleonic era. Yes, I notice these things, and it incenses me.
Historical clothing is so easy to do right! What is the problem with them? I detest those kinds of anachronisms and inaccuracies.
Here’s the billboard:
A poorly done billboard is enough to make us all gag! Of course, your mind goes to the period costumes, and mine doesn’t, but, hey, each to their own.
Samantha Power waited 13yrs on a waiting list….finally got Red Sox season tickets this year…..a week later she was named UN Ambassador!

Not the “or darling I’ll be gone” part – but the Look in My Eyes part for President and Mrs. Obama! Neither of them is going anywhere!
When I see Mrs. Obama looking at PBO with such love, I am so happy that he has that beautiful love in his life, with all the terrible stuff he has to face every day.
Well said, Maryl1! I am so glad my President has a soulmate in Michelle and their precious girls who love him dearly. I am equally glad that my President has people like you, and all TOD members, who love him and will always have his back.
People like you, too, nath! Don’t forget yourself in that line-up of things we’re all grateful for!
We certainly do, nath!
Even NPR is writing these out of context stories about people being kicked off their plans. The past couple of years even NPR has written sensationalized distorted stories (especially about the NSA) all made to make the POTUS look bad. We have no honest mainstream media in this country.
I’ve stopped listening to NPR. It used to be that you could listen to NPR for informative stories. But lately, every time I turn the station to NPR these days, I run screaming after a couple of minutes! No honest media.
Agreed. They make me feel the same way.
“We have no honest mainstream media in this country.”
Claire, You speak the absolute TRUTH! For me, stopped subscribing to PBS and NPR during George W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq. At the time, both NPR and PBS had joined the bandwagon in supporting Bush’s invasion and occupation of Iraq.
Another love song dedicated to our First Couple as they continue dancing the night away!

Okay, could someone please explain to me Washington Post’s 4 Pinocchio ruling against PBO’s statement? I found the ruling lacking credibility because it seems to be completely based off the media’s faulty research.
Not sure, but it’s possible you answered your own question.
Pay no attention. It is Glenn Kessler, he lost all credibility about 3 months after getting the “Truth teller” gig. Keep in mind he was an economics reporter before he all of sudden became the arbiter of objectivity.
Glenn Kessler is a complete hack. He is allergic to the truth.
