I love PBO
I do, too. Congrats on 1st, Vicki!
Late to the party, but thanks, Chips!
Secretary Kerry’s on CNN-TV right now!
Congrats Vicki on your Gold.
LOVE Chips. So Up To the Minute with BREAKING News. Thank you.
Are you listening to SoS Kerry right now?
I can’t tell if you guys answer me because my little light thingy isn’t working properly, so I hope you ARE listening. SoS is giving a little back ground to process.
Thanks for the Reuters link, VC, since CNN ditched Kerry’s important speech. Unbelievable.
Hi, VC! This is so exciting. To think Secretary Kerry started being involved in the politics of this nation while protesting the Vietnam War, after serving, and now this … happy for him to have helped reach this deal, on behalf of President Obama and our country. Not to mention on behalf of the security of the world at large.
Sequentially Senator Kerry introduced Barack Obama to the world while he was running to be POTUS. Kerry was wanting to secure nuclear weapons then as Obama also wanted to since his foreign relations major in college. Later Then Sen Obama did win the Presidency and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Now PBO appointed Senator Kerry to SOS and he is working towards achieving progress of both their dreams. I hope this step holds and next SOS Kerry can win the NPP.
THIS……Kerry, Biden, PBO……an amazing team. Not sure how anyone in America would want anyone else!!!!
Well, nobody here wants anyone else, that’s for sure, Barb! Glad we’re all together hearing the news!
yes, indeed……great times!
Glad we are friends without borders in the time of Obama!
so pleased, think I’ll go down to USA on Monday!
Kerry is speaking
Paging David Gregory……… hahahahaha………. lets see how much begging they do in the next few hours.

Nothing to Do With Luck.
Hard Work. Steady. Firm. Never Giving Up. FORWARD, Always.
PBO has always had the long view; he sets a goal and works steadily with all of the stock-holders to achieve it. We have seen this over and over. How anyone can think that all of his accomplishments are the result of luck? The haters just cannot accept that he has been able to do many things that they did not believe was possible and we all know why.
OR they didn’t / could not do it due to having a short term and narrow view of the world view TODAY. Wait for it, repubs heads are going to be exploding all over the place. Excellent work, albeit, 6 more months of negotiations, but it is a start.
Joe Cirincione @Cirincione 20m
White House fact sheet on #Iran deal shows that this is one tough deal. Unprecedented limits on program. Much
tougher than some thought.
But the beltway sez political fallout for, wait for it…, #Obama…
The only Ashton I know is Ashton Kuchner. It wasn’t him negotiating with Iran right? Right?
It wasn’t but he did take down Wal-Mart. Ha.
Maybe that would be Lady Ashton, Jovie, a member of the British contingent. Someone else know?
Yes, that’s who it is. She has done steady, unheralded work for the entire negotiating time. I saw her in the videos. She deserves much credit.

We are watching history. I feel like I need to pinch myself to see if I am really awake and watching history being made.
CNN cuts off its broadcast of the US Secretary of State on the Iran agreement but instead does the JFK tape. UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE.
I’m still watching SoS on the computer http://www.livestation.com/reuters?source=redirect but have the sound off on the tv and saw they switched to JFK tape.
I noticed that, with disgust. They probably invested CNN $ in the documentary, so, you know, ad $$$$. SICKENING.
AJAM is Live Now with SoS Kerry.
forus50, what do you expect from TeaNN or FoxNN?
I am listening online http://www.livestation.com/reuters?source=redirect. Kerry is now answering questions.
Programming note: Happy music coming up when we get busy here.
Aw, perfect LL, thank you!!

The early criticism of the interim agreement is it doesn't dismantle #Iran's nuclear program. That is simply not realistic at this point.— Philip J. Crowley (@PJCrowley) November 24, 2013
Crowley needs to close his mouth and open his ears and listen to what SoS Kerry is saying!
I interpret the Crowley statement as criticizing those thinking it was not enough with his second sentence saying that was not possible so early into the negotiations. I interpret it as positive.
Maybe those who are criticizing want to send our sons and daughters to invade Iran. Start another war.
Anniebella, those criticizing did NOT have the balLS to do anything EXCEPT criticize., so I wouldn’t give them any of my precious time.
I have always been of the opinion that those who want to war for other than defence should themselves go and not yours and mine. Duke it out .
SoS Kerry is making the agreement crystal clear. “Let there be no mistake”…
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
- Matthew 5:9
Our President truly is a peacemaker.
Yes, praise the good Lord, he is!
Yes, the world is going to be a different….better…place by 2017. The Nobel committee knew what they were doing in 2009.
Yup they knew a peace maker when they heard him speak and read his books.
David "Dancing Man" Gregory just now: "Why is Iran getting rewarded?"— Greg Mitchell (@GregMitch) November 24, 2013
“Getting rewarded?” What is he thinking…WHY is he talking!!!
Limbaugh told him to ask that question.
Someone should ask him what reward he is talking about. An idiotic remark from a wicked hateful vagabond.
One day, all of them will get their rewards for being disingenuous, liars, prevarcators, ignoramuses, instigators, selfish, greedy. Please, make it so.
Gregory is an imbecile. Seriously.
Gregory, Todd, Tapper, Karl, Blitzer, Crowley. These are the big names of cable news. UNBELIEVABLE.
They’re just good at commenting on political games. No real intellectual power. No real depth of knowledge in history and culture, nor in the economy. They’re useless.
Sometimes I think these guys parrot the GOP talking points mainly because they are not well equipped to contradict them.
Looking forward to Fareed tomorrow. He’s the only one who I’m able to watch, the only one who seems to have some brain power, who seems able to analyze the big picture.
Consigned. Also agree about Fareedzakaria.

ODS – OBAMA DERANGEMENT SYNDROME
We are truly living in the early years of a Golden Age. We are so blessed to be participants and witnesses to this incredible era under the guidance of a once-in-a-lifetime leader.
Of course, they’ve already lost all credibility:
Give all due credit to Pres. @BarackObama for #Iran deal – @CNN @NBC @ABC @CBS @MSNBC – or lose all credibility as "news" organizations.— (@JOBoomr) November 24, 2013
Sec. Kerry said there may be differences on “tactics” with Israel on the Iran deal, but NO DIFFERENCES ON STRATEGY. Yeehaw!
If credit is given, they will give it solely to Secretary Kerry. To be fair, the work that Barack Obama is doing behind the scenes is less obvious.
I like that credit will be going to Secretary Kerry, because the diplomatic man who’s a part of this deal in Geneva – John Kerry – always mentions Pres. Obama when he discusses U.S. policy. And Kerry was obviously masterful at this deal. He knows and we know it’s all been coordinated under the direction of PBO, and that works for all of us supporters!
Sec Kerry is in incredibly good humor considering he’s been working just about 24/7.
He must be on that “high” one feels when involved in something that matters. And that was my biggest grasp of the obvious tonight!
Success does wonders for one’s humor, even when one is tired! He has worked hard for this…..the success is sweet, I’m sure. He and PBO are hard workers. They know this kind of success does not come about easily. Bur fortunately for us, they are both willing to work hard for the world’s safety.
“You mean the members of the other party are criticizing the President?” John Kerry on complaints that this agreement isn’t strong enough…. he said with a chuckle
Wow….did he actually say that???? BooooooooooooHawwww

Great press conference by SOS Kerry. He is really in his element now….so proud of him. Proud of all that worked so hard to begin this process. I’m wiped. Tomorrow’s lip movers ought to be a sight to behold:) Wonder if McCain will make his 1 trillionth appearance on a friendly GOP talk show? Lip movers. Love it.
Geneva, Switzerland __ Deputy Secretary of State William Burns has led a secret U.S. back channel to Iran going back to shortly before the June election of Iranian president Hassan Rouhani, U.S. officials exclusively told Al-Monitor.
The U.S. bilateral channel to Iran was established after the exchange of letters between US President Barack Obama and Iranian President Rouhani in early August, US officials told Al-Monitor. Led by Burns, the US’s second highest ranking diplomat and a former lead US Iran nuclear negotiator, the US effort to establish the direct channel with Iran also includes two officials from the Obama White House: Jake Sullivan, the national security advisor to Vice President Joe Biden, and Puneet Talwar, the National Security Staff senior director for Iran, Iraq, and Persian Gulf affairs, US officials confirmed. Talwar’s role in back channel discussions with Iran was previously reported by the Wall Street Journal.

I get to see an answer – yeah!
Seriously, we have a president who is goal oriented and it’s so beautiful to see him continuously moving #FORWARD at home and abroad. I haven’t a clue how he is able to keep so much on the fire while the GOPs and their media try to douse things, but i sure am glad he does.
We have shared this here at TOD. We are so blessed. Again thank you Chips for this heaven!!! We are living history. This is what we all have worked for. I am so emotional. Don’t know if I will be able to sleep tonight.

Thank you POB, VP Joe Biden, SoS Kerry, all of the nations involved for giving PEACE a chance.

It was not in vain.
God bless all the children who may never have to grow up in war ever again. They will be able to fall asleep in peace without the fear of waking up to the sounds of bombs and death of loved ones around them. I am grateful for their chance to wake up and know peace.
Thank you President Barack Obama for having a heart to stand for peace and not war.

The press? Certainly not liberal. I refer to the corporate press as NEO-FASCIST. Fascism, in summary, is the merging of the state and the corporate economy. We get our news, our “media,” from only about four-six giant corporate-conglomerates who benefit financially from wars and war preparations. Even Disney has defense corporations under their conglomerate umbrella. Increasingly I’m daring to call it as it is. PBO is a threat to their bottom line…. PROFIT!
