I really enjoy the immediacy of the original airing; seems more honest.

FLOTUS does indeed look gorgeous as does our President! And he seems so happy and enthusiastic to be hosting this. Love him!

Tonight Bill deBlasio of NY is joining Rahm Emmanuel of Chicago, Eric Garcetti of LA, and Kaseem Reed (sp?) of Atlanta in Chicago on a Mayors panel hosted by David Axelrod.
    Good, right?
However the NY Media are in full-on takedown mode for Mayor deBlasio. The news is all about his sinking poll numbers. They are falling over themselves attempting to destroy this good guy.
The morning after his 73% victory the sorry excuse we have for journalism was saying that it wasn’t really such a great win because turnout was low.

For f–ks sake. This is what politics and governance have come to in our country. Destruction and hate.

I hardly heard anything about Bloomie’s polls – even when they were rock bottom.

This is what happens when you tax the rich……the RWNJ media goes after you. He needs to call PBO on how to keep going.

Ok, Patti LaBelle’s tribute to the Obamas has me in floods, just beautiful

Janelle Monae is one of the highly underrated young performers. She’s a stellar singer.

And its because she is a singer vs being a performer. Unfortunately we have more performers than singers today.

        March 6, 2014 at 7:54 pm

Indeed donna. And the peformances are mostly about sex. Michael Jackson was as stellar a performer as he was a singer, but his performances were truly unique and artistic. Not just sexually explicit material devoid of much else.

I see AG Holder and his wife Sharon there. That young girl did pretty good singing the one and only Whitney.

You guys must have better sound on your computers than I do. I’ve checked in to see POTUS and FLOTUS ( so lovely, what a First Couple) but I will watch this on TV when PBS broadcasts it. The computer is fine for speeches but I am picky about how I listen to music.

Been there. Once was so appalled by what my then-teenaged son’s bedroom floor looked like one day (clothes, books, God knows what else strewn around), I asked him to “At least make a path!” He tells his own kids about that “rule” today (I love payback by the grandchildren most of all – Ha!).

Fantastic!! Thank you for posting her name. I don’t watch any of the singing contests shows on TV so would have never heard of her. She is extremely talented!

Heard about their incredibly sad loss yesterday. Very brave of them to share this personal story and find some good in the situation by asking for donations to Enroll America so other people can access excellent healthcare that they had. Hope there will be another baby Bird in the future when they’re ready.

Soulful heartwarming music, fellowship and good vibes at the People’s House, or toxicity, hate and exclusion at the CPAC rally? Please advise.

That was a lot of fun—–for some reason I had great sound from my little ol’ laptop—–maybe cause I have audio at full blast. Lots of great performances. And loved watching PBO and FL swing and sway ——and was amused by some of the other attendees’ “grooviness”. Fun, enjoyable night at the White House!
