When I think of night time, the music of Claude Debussy always springs to mind. His is the perfect music for a springtime evening. So, a bit of relaxation after a momentous day.
Preludes – Livre II
Claire de Lune
Chat on, night owls!
A little what?
I’ll go read it!
Make that: I’ll go listen! Got all shook up being first!
Wait for me!
Hi, MP. I’m otta here. Bye MP! Have a good night when you sign off.
Done in by Claire de Lune! Sweet dreams y’all. Light candles and put Light all around our beloved First Family and First Puppies, and deep comfort and strength to our brothers and sisters in Ukraine, Crimea and Russia. It will be a long time until they sleep soundly again.
I “pulled you along” that time! Was just logging on, and there ya go!
Thanks. Now I’m signing off as my eyes are starting to burn. G’Night.
I’m right behind you, VC. G’Night to you. Sweet dreams.
Morning, JO’B! You still in dreamland? I breezed in and out several times.
Mornin’ – Woke up about an hour ago, but still coming around! Enjoy your day.
Welcome, JO’B and TY! I am well on the way to enjoying my day, as you will see in the R & S comments. Come join the fun.
I am here! :)
De busy? I’m suddenly busy too. ‘ll pass. Classical just doesn’t do it for me.
heh..I bet if you saw PBO play “clair de lune” on piano, you would be a classical fan in a NY minute! :) :) :)
Sure, a classical fan of PBO, but then I’m already that!
Thanks LL – Love Debussy :)
What a great sign! http://t.co/7mokZIrVak— Men's Humor (@MensHumor) March 13, 2014
Wait a minute – didn’t LL go to bed like 5 hrs ago?!?!?
I woke up. And now I’m heading back.
Aha…okay then. Well thanks for the music, and have a wonderful restful nite! Sleep tite. Don’t let Putin bite!
Listening to debussy (while smoking or not smoking pot) is a million times better than listening to Chris Hayes yammer on about nothing!
Thanks LL for the Debussy. Love it.

Rinhart shares a soul with Paul Ryan – and has $20 billion – ALL of it inherited – but she still hits on the poors – cause they didn’t have rich fathers?
“MINING billionaire Gina Rinehart has criticised welfare recipients for dragging the country into debt ”
It’s those poors – they create all this debt!
Not to mention the corporate complete mismanagement of Qantas – and the government joining the board to blame it all on the unions – those folks who fight for livable pay & conditions for their members.

Who was that dam idiot Republican who said that slave owners treated the slaves good?
Lovely music to uplift the soul. Debussy is the backdrop to one of my favourite movies.
What movie? I first realized I liked Clair de Lune in the movie Frankie and Johnny. :)
#MarchInMarch Brilliant display of signs. Lots of thoughtful people all concerned. http://t.co/iXqwSG184r— Lucy Stanton (@louinoosa) March 16, 2014
The next 24 to 48 to whatever number of hours will define the future of not merely Crimea, Ukraine but humanity. That is not hyperbole. I posted this tweet under the #euromaidan tag in the hope that others would realize the absolute necessity that we join in confronting the tyranny Putin is attempting to impose.
Reflecting on that fact, it was interesting that the music that kept running through my mind was Bruce Springsteen’s ‘We Take Care of Our Own,’ and I realized that, though not the intention of the ‘Boss,’ his refrain ‘wherever this flag is flown’ now must extend to a ‘flag’ representing ALL of humanity.
In response to #TzarPutin's illegal occupation in #Ukraine humanity must unite to 'take care of our own' youtube.com/watch?v=-x8zBz… #euromaidan— Bobfr (@Our4thEstate) March 16, 2014
For certain, given the scale of the challenge our President Obama is now confronting, we also must TAKE CARE OF HIM – in any way we can.
YES WE MUST
good night TOD
YES WE MUST!
I you haven’t read it – this is a great piece from Booman – and the comments tell more of the story. As one of the commenters says
“The only cause of poverty is people not having enough money.
To reduce the incidence of poverty you give money to poor people. Period.”
which equates to the Pierce first law of economics – “people got no money, people got no jobs”
Why is it so damn hard for the Paul Ryan’s of the the world to understand a simple, basic fact? They have NEVER been there – they have NO idea of how to live without their trappings of wealth and power.
“What’s really Offensive about Paul Ryans’s remarks”
Moooooorning Early Birds!
