Early Bird Chat

On This Day: President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama participate in tree plantings at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in Washington, D.C., April 21, 2009 (Photo by Pete Souza)

Another Pete Souza gem - the expressions crack me up, especially the First Lady’s: ‘Grab a shovel, buster.’

MoooOOOooorning: Happy Monday!

Why is David Brooks so obsessed with PBO’s “manhood?” In 2012, he also wrote a piece focusing on PBO’s “masculinity.” Although the article itself was chuck full of inaccuracies, Brooks at the time concluded that PBO’s “post-boomer masculinity” kept him competitive in the Presidential race, when he should have been “crushed.” LOL! David Brooks needs to get a grip and stop ODS-ing about Barack Obama’s masculinity.

Hf, when one man focuses so intensely on another man’s ‘masculinity,’ he’s either jealous or very insecure about his own. No woman on the planet would have to think twice about our gorgeous president’s masculinity. We know, no matter what our ages.

back here after a long few days with family, I was greeted by PBO in that light-colored suit. Good thing I was sitting down. Agree heartily about our President’s beauty and masculinity!!!!!!!

Good morning. Hard to believe Easter came and went so soon. Today our niece participates in the Boston Marathon. She’s been training for six months and hopes to come in with the top 20. All family fingers are crossed. Have a great day!

Awesome! Best wishes for a terrific run. It’s a brisk 42 degrees out there, so I hear. Good luck to all the runners!

The Post‘s story concludes with the observation that both CBS and ABC are likely to soon lose their current hosts to retirement, which would force those networks to undergo the same re-branding that NBC has embraced over the last six years.

      —-

Isn’t George Snufalugogous the host of Sunday show on ABC ? Why would he be retiring ?

Also Who is on CBS on Sunday ?

Isn’t CBS’s host that relic, Bob Schafer? And Stephanopolous is probably contemplating working in the WH if/when Hillary runs?

The only reason his job may not be in jepoardy is that they have no obvious replacement for him. RW “centrist” pundits are boring and the ratings will continue to drop with anyone they are likely to select.

The truth is that the corporate media ownership & punditry is increasingly at odds with American viewing public – and this fundamental difference will continue to drive down TV ratings – regardless of who is host.
