OMG, I think I’m going to explode. We HAVE TO RID OUR COUNTRY OF THESE SOULESS CREEPS.

    • May 21, 2014 at 12:07 am

      Excerpt:

“I’m not sure why this isn’t a bigger deal. I hadn’t heard about it other than in this brief passage tucked away in a Politico article about the House GOP agriculture bill. But it takes a small program intended provide meals to children in the school lunch program during the summer months and says it can now only be used to benefit kids in “rural areas”.

In other words, “urban” kids are now out of luck.

Here’s the passage in question ..
And in a surprising twist, the bill language specifies that only rural areas are to benefit in the future from funding requested by the administration this year to continue a modest summer demonstration program to help children from low-income households — both urban and rural — during those months when school meals are not available.”

Meta, they are to busy truing to place blame on PBO for the VA problem. Like I said on the previous thread stories like this aren’t sexy enough, as PBO would say.

Pace yourself, meta. We have the rest of ’14 and all of ’15 to get through. I agree it’s unbearable, but we have to find a way to STAY SANE with all this rubbish going on.

Meta, has this bill actually passed, or just come out of committee. And doesn’t it have to go through the Senate. I’m sure the Agriculture Department is on it and the WH is on alert. Let’s see what happens. But you’re right, we’ve got to work like crazy to change this Reptilian (uh Republican) Congress.

For some reason I started reading about the Koch Family tonight. Think it was because there is a new book out tomorrow or whenever. I didn’t realize there were four brothers. I only knew of three. The oldest, Frederick is estranged from the other three. He even got left out of his fathers will. Still seems to have plenty of money, maybe because of his mother or because of a lawsuit against his brothers. Fredericks’ brothers say he’s gay, but he claims he’s not. Anyway he and brother Bill do not have anything to do with Koch Industries. Goodnight TOD. Zzzzzz

Disappointed in today’s election turnout and results; however, will still work to ensure One-Term Tom is sent packing in November…

Sorry. But reading that made me laugh.

On a serious note; sorry your favorite ball is gone. Hopefully the squeak toy fairy will find it and get it back to you soon.

Hint to “ms eval” : Maybe you can find an identical one, pretend you found the lost one and give it back to Danny like it was the original. No one’s the wiser.

I’ve been out all day & know little of the people in today’s primaries but it was interesting to see that Clinton support didn’t help in the winning stakes – the love of Hillary seems to be mainly media magic

“Margolies lost despite receiving significant support from the Clinton family. Both former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton went to a fundraiser for Margolies a week earlier and former President Bill Clinton went to two fundraisers for Margolies in April. ”

Also very pleased that Karen Handel seems to be out of contention – a woman who used a position in a charity to stop other women receiving health care – she should NEVER have a position of political power.

99, the 13CD is right next door, and although my preferred candidate didn’t win (Daylin Leach), I am absolutely THRILLED that Marjorie LOST! She projects a misplaced sense of entitlement and had more baggage than Samsonite. Funny thing, Billery both did fundraisers, Bill did a robo call, NEVER heard of Mark & Chelsea doing anything. You’d think there’d been a one block door knock photo-op…

Anyone robo calls me – doesn’t matter which party – I don’t vote for them – and I call them and tell them why. I find such calls truly offensive.
