Growing up, my dream was to be a starting pitcher for the NY Mets. That didn’t last long.

Cant’ understand how PBO and Shinseki can do so may things right for Vets then get hammered because one aspect of a monolithic system fails to function efficiently. This is ACA all over again. Did anyone hear the president say how many letters he gets from vets who thank him for all he’s done to make their lives better, including reducing homelessness, job creation, housing, etc…?

How long have Mitch McConnell been in the Senate? What have he done to improve health care and education for our veterans?

The Duck Dynasty Star is still spouting Homophobic views.

I say, keep on talking. That how We The People know them and isolate them.

TBGOPer chairman is now arrested too in connection with photographing Mrs Thad Cochran who is in a Nursing facility bedridden.

Understand why in some districts/states a candidate’s party designation is a bit of a hindrance, but I prefer stand-up Democrats! Don’t even know this guy in my timeline – turns out he is one – but I had to do a search to find that. Grrrr. Off to nap and grab a little attitude adjustment!

The Senate confirmed Richard Frank to be an assistant secretary in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Frank was confirmed by voice vote as part of a unanimous consent agreement reached Thursday.

He will likely serve under President Obama’s nominee to replace outgoing HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.

The Senate is expected to confirm Sylvia Burwell next month to be the new head of that department.

I have experienced that myself LL. ROFL!

A couple of years ago, my home computer broke and I took it to Staples. While waiting for repair, I went to my local library on Jefferson & Arlington to check my emails. It was a musical chairs hoot-nanny! I was never so happy to have my own computer back.

I have gotten a little sad looking at the people in this photo. I’m thinking of my grandfather and of all of the elderly and middle-aged black folks who would have loved to have been invited to this event.

      Can you spot any?????

This President does more in a 48 hour period than any of the other Presidents.

He looked so fresh, relaxed, happy and dare I say (whisper) sexy…
