That’s what this whole VA “scandal” is about. Settling petty scores and holding stale grudges. Has nothing to do with genuine concern for the vets.

Did they even listen to the tone of PBO’s statement? Do you think for one hot minute Nabors is going to soft-peddle this? JHC, what idiocy.

I suppose AMitchell’s marriage to Greensberg colored her reporting, contacts, etc that she sees her bias as Facts?

She’s an old fool, with nothing much to show for her time spent on this earth, except as many axes to grind as she has wrinkles!

    Congrats Mr. Bill!
Hi Cindy! I wanted to thank you for your prayers for me and my family. Sometimes I can’t respond until several threads later, but I try to read all the comments with the posts.
I do appreciate the sentiments from all caring TOD members. I believe that together we are a force for good.

Hope you’re having a WONDERFUL DAY!

Thank you but this is what I do; we are our brothers and sisters keepers. When I pray for you and others, my prayers are being answered by caring for someone other than myself. I can’t express the joy that I have when I am interceding for others, it’s “pure” joy.

As you and your familyl continue to heal, just know that someone is sending comforting prayers and thoughts your way : )

What is stopping Dem Senators to have hearings or best be on the senate floor spend 24 plus hours talking about this issue and using data, facts, history to truly educate and as well as expose the hypocrisy by the TBGOPers where the Vets and VA are concerned.

Sen Sanders is either a Chairman or Co-chairman on Veterans Affairs Committee. His tweets are great…..but he can use his oversight responsibilities as mandated by the senate and congressional rules and once and for all help STOP the TBGOPers’ politicization of the Vets.

Someday I wanna be this man !!!

Touching story, if you have not seen this before:

    Ya’ gotta love this guy!!!!!

Meet Walter Barnes – All golfers should live so long as to become this kind of old man!

Toward the end of the Sunday service, the Minister asked, “How many of you have forgiven your enemies?”

    80% held up their hands.

The Minister then repeated his question.

All responded this time, except one man, Walter Barnes.

“Mr. Barnes, are you not willing to forgive your enemies?”

I don’t have any,” he replied gruffly.

“Mr. Barnes, that is very unusual.

    How old are you?”

    “Ninety-eight,” he replied.

The congregation stood up and clapped their hands.

“Oh, Mr. Barnes, would you please come down in front and tell us all how a person can live ninety-eight years and not have an enemy in the world

The old golfer tottered down the aisle, stopped in front of the pulpit, turned around, faced the congregation, and said simply,

“I outlived all them assholes” – and he calmly returned to his seat.

As always, thank you for postings that makes one laugh or just smile.

Laughing does the heart good, and smiles will ease the frowns, and temporarily distort the wrinkles.

Hope you’re having a BEAUTIFUL DAY!

      P. S. Wishing you continued healing for your eyes, hope everything is going as the doctor(s) prescribed.

One-And-Done: How a Judge’s Ruling Could End Scott Walker’s Governorship

News broke late Thursday that thousands of pages of public records, acquired over a 33-month secret John Doe investigation involving Walker’s campaign aides, must be turned over by prosecutors to Milwaukee County. The ruling was made by retired Appeals Court Judge Neil Nettesheim, the man who had originally ordered the investigation closed in March of 2013.

Should those records be turned over, copies of the them may be requested by the public thanks to Wisconsin’s open records law. Already, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has penned an editorial to Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele, asking him to release the records for the public to see. Should Abele release the records, they more than likely will end the political career of Scott Walker.
