    Good Friday Chipsticks…TODers!!!

    Everyone have a fantastic day!

  2. June 20, 2014 at 7:33 am

Bo is definitely not camera shy. Reminds me of a child that, whenever they see a camera, automatically poses and smiles. :-)

chips, did you find your hairbrush? Where was it? I somehow missed this breaking news, if this is in fact the case. I cannot continue on until I have the answers to these questions. Help me out here. Merci.

    • June 20, 2014 at 7:43 am

:-) I still haven’t found (I sound like Bono) the original brush, but a little rooting around found an old one – so I am gorgeous again. The whereabouts of the original, though, remains a mystery – and Danny certainly hasn’t pooed it out yet.

Well that’s a relief, Chips. The hairbrush crisis was getting intense. Danny may be innocent, after all.

        • June 20, 2014 at 8:05 am

:-) I actually think it was up there with Iraq in crisis terms, Jackie. Still not convinced by Danny’s innocence, expecting to find the original some day severely chewed.

No question in *my* mind that is, and will be, the case, JackieG!

          Good Friday morning, Mrs. JackieG!

              TY. :)
Personally I love your words of ‘get-involved’ wisdom throughout the day. They usually remind us there’s practical work to be done while the opposition is chattering.

OK, I was mislead by a comment——at least I know The Truth now. The mysterious saga continues, but at least—–gorgeous again! Whew!

        • June 20, 2014 at 8:16 am

Simply stunning, Dotster :-) Although, it took about five hours to get all the tangles out :-(

Chips, you do realize that it would have taken a much shorter time to cut the entire thing off – an end result that would also have made things much easier going forward? You really ought to follow the President’s example of looking at the big picture. Just saying.

            • June 20, 2014 at 8:24 am

I did consider that option VC, but what would I have done with my year’s supply of apple shampoo??

Pass it on to one of those charity organizations that’s always wanting to collect this or that for their thrift store. They are forever phoning to notify of their next pick-up date!

Or put it on eBay. You know – Year’s supply…Barely used…. No time to wash hair….

Our president seems to have an infinite capacity to deal with idiots, Dotster. I don’t envy him these interviews. How he keeps himself from saying their questions are really stupid is something I will never understand.

why do these asshats even stand there before the cameras? And why the other minions put up with that shit?

      • 28 vcprezofan2
        June 20, 2014 at 8:42 am

Exactly my question yesterday! Clueless, self-important idiots! They are so full of themselves they fail to realize how ridiculous they look or sound. But then, the other minions seemed locked into their part in the play.

Honestly, Amk, the advent of PBO on the (inter)national scene has shown me exactly how simply ridiculous and empty the whole media and political scene has been. What continues to amaze me is that in 5+ years they haven’t found a way to regroup or to mask their nakedness. It’s like they have one approach, and they will stick with it no matter that PBO’s leadership shows it won’t work any more. smh

        • 29 amk for obama
          June 20, 2014 at 8:48 am

I watched the PBO PC y’dday live on Aljazeera and the first shot is these idjits standing there like dumbasses.

I was happy that the kenyan didn’t call any of these mofos for questions. Looks like, on serious PC’s, these idjits are ignored.

          • 30 vcprezofan2
            June 20, 2014 at 8:58 am

Yea, we are twins (at least for today/yesterday)! I watched it too, and *my* idjiits comment was made when the scene opened with them.

Watching PBO in action in that presser was very impressive to me. It was like he came in knowing he had, and being ready, to TEACH. He knew the nature of his students and he patiently repeated the lesson more than once. I was embarrassed for them – it being televised and all – but I was so proud of this leader who ‘likes to know what he’s talking about before he speaks’.

This is clearly the major difference between PBO and all the other jokers who crave time at the public mike. Sure hope young democrats with leadership hopes are taking notes – know your subject; research world history and geography; BE INFORMED WITH THE FACTS, then you can make informed judgement!

                June 20, 2014 at 9:14 am

Truth is they aren’t wearing me down any more. In the early stages I was HUGELY incensed at their disrespect, etc. etc. and had such rage in my heart towards them it was just as well our paths never met! I haven’t accepted it, but I’ve long since come around to the ‘please proceed’ view, even before PBO labeled it for us. ;) After all, when you lance a boil the stuff that seeps out is not pretty; it simply clears the way for real healing.

          June 20, 2014 at 8:54 am

VC, it’s clear that the right-wing owned media colluded together to try to destroy our President’s legacy, especially when it became clear that he was not going to be beaten in an election. Because he’s outshone them time and again with his brilliance, extraordinary achievements and political genius, they have doubled down and, in doing so, have become “obvious” to anyone with eyes to see. They make fools of themselves in international arenas, ask increasing stupid and obnoxious questions and spout talking points that are almost always proven wrong in less than a week. I have ZERO respect for any of them and turned them off a long time ago.

          • 36 vcprezofan2

‘They make fools of themselves in international arenas……’ ‘and, in doing so have become “obvious” to anyone with eyes to see.’

I don’t like what they have shown themselves to be in their response to this president, but at this stage my response to them truly is…

“Please proceed, MSM. Since you are determined to reveal your true colours, go ahead”

…because like you said, more and more voters will realize that there is no RATIONAL explanation for their vitriol.

        June 20, 2014 at 8:45 am

Also just occurred to me that the ‘other minions’ put up with it because they are waiting for their turn to reach the front? You know, like how senators, whatever were affronted that BHO didn’t ‘pay dues’ and ‘wait his turn’ to get to the WH.

      • 39 Nena20409
        June 20, 2014 at 10:10 am

        Why?

In US the Media is No Longer in the business of Reporting Facts nor of informing the Public so they might make better judgments in the selection of their political representatives.

Lately, I’ve been impressed with the number of local campaign activities being set up already in our area. The chance of beating Corbett in the fall has people revved up and ready to go. We got days of action, fundraisers, registration events, phone banking and a whole lot of other activities going on, all of which is great, but also exhausting if we don’t pace ourselves. The big fear locally is that Democrats will read the polls and decide that Wolf is so far ahead of Corbett that they don’t have to come out to vote. So that’s the major task for GOTV because high Dem turnout is going to help even the marginal Dems. I have to confess, though, that I need more “off time” than I did in earlier years and revving into high gear this early is just a little daunting. Anyone else finding this?

Grrrrrrrrr——–the weather. We’re going for a long weekend meet-up with fam at a lakeside resort in Wi. today——and the weather is poopy and the forecast is poopy——chance of rain and tstorms every day. Sigh. Hopefully there will be intermittent dry spells where everyone can run out and do their planned outside activities. And at least——all my kids and grandkids!

I don’t get the big deal on Twitter about a male felon who happens to be very handsome. Yes, he’s cute and desirable in the physical sense. But If there’s nothing much else going on (besides criminal activity), all his sex appeal will eventually fizzle out. At least that’s my take.

    • June 20, 2014 at 10:32 am

People are always dying to make the next celebrity. It’s insane. This guy was interviewed on my local news last night because he’s in this area and he said he doesn’t get it either. He’s married and has children and said it’s all very weird. So – just a bunch more stupid.
