Regarding Iraq, New GOP House Majority Leader Has No Earthly Idea What He’s Talking About
So, let me get this straight. Maybe we need to put boots on the ground, but only if we have a strategy. Maybe airstrikes are the answer, maybe not. All depends on having a strategy. Everything is on the table, but you have to have a strategy. We need to stop the momentum of ISIS and we need to have a strategy. Gee, thanks, Mr. McCarthy. Sure glad you were able to clear that right up.
Like his predecessor Eric Cantor, McCarthy offers up no ideas, no plans, no anything. It appears that he knows how to criticize the President and Democrats and that is about it. In that exchange between Wallace and McCarthy, there was not one concise, clear point of view offered. Not a one. The man just hemmed and hawed and essentially spouted off important sounding gibberish. That is all we get from the Republican Party anymore. They are a party of second-guessing critics who know how to say no yet never offer any solutions.
They ran out of ideas long ago, Linda–it’s just that some are better BS artists than others. Hate, racism, intolerance of any differences, aversion to change and love of money and big business is the only platform they have.
CLEAR AS MUD ………
Kevin McCarthy: Say what?
It happens once a week, almost like clockwork.
Kevin McCarthy, the man House Republicans are on course to tap this week as their next majority leader, steps to the microphones with other GOP leaders, opens his eyes wide and says something baffling.
On jobs: “I went out in my district and asked to tell the stories. I got it clear across the district, from all different aspects. . . . The Labor Department statistic for low-wage worker, December 2013, was the shortest amount of workweek they’ve ever had.”
On last year’s government shutdown: “As the speaker laid out, senior White House administration says it doesn’t matter how long we’re shut down.”
Republicans had better hope McCarthy masters speaking before becoming speaker.
Good Morning TOD!
The entire GOP is completely NUTS!
Bobby Jindal Predicts ‘Growing Rebellion’ Will Execute ‘Hostile Takeover’ of Washington D.C. aattp.org/bobby-jindal-p…— Donna NoShock (@NoShock) June 23, 2014
Morning, Donna. Isn’t there something illegal about inciting the overthrow of the government? Isn’t this sedition? There’s no way you can read Jindal’s statement as anything other than inciting people to violence. In my opinion this makes Jindal an enemy of the US government and about as unpatriotic as he can be.
Yes it is illegal but our lazy, good for nothing, no account media will ignore this statement by this mainstream politician as just a fringe remark. So they just keep pushing the envelope. Unfortunately, the crazies hear this mess and go out and act on this call for “Revolution”. smh/
There is serious incitement going on – and when something bad happens – they will scream they are the victims and they didn’t mean that at all! Just some of their supporters are mentally disturbed. Folks that talk in this way want something bad to happen. They thrive on bad news.
YES…it is called SEDITION….
There are 600,000 to 800,000 UNREGISTERED Black voters in Georgia. Our voting power is staying at home! #NewsOneNow— (@rolandsmartin) June 23, 2014
Perhaps the rest of the Black media should be focusing on THAT critical issue instead of nitpicking every damn speech or policy action by PBO…(yes I’m looking at you MHP, Mr. Coates and Professor Crunk!)
I pay these people no attention at all, only when you have a black President do these people open up their mouths and say something. If Jesse Jackson opened up his mouth and criticized the President, I might not like it, but Jesses Jackson has earned that right because he was there from the giddy-up fighting for the black and the brown, the same way with Al Sharpton. Both these men were there in the beginning, putting their asses on the line.
Happy, and productive, Monday, everyone!
Good Morning Family! :-)

I’m not even sure why this discussion is taking place. That poll is not valid.
The only thing they don’t support him on is we were supposed to leave Berghdahl behind.
Jeesh. Tough crowd.
“Tough crowd” that is NOT REPRESENTATIVE of the US population. Glad to see that we here at TOD are aware of this!
So Syria has given up 100% of it’s chemical weapons and crickets from the media….
Soon all positive news will be banned in Murika
You mean all positive news for PBO…the current media has no problem singing praises for the Clintons, Romneys or Bushes….
