Thank you Bob for pointing this article out.
It is a MUST READ—–not that much of it will be a surprise.
Presidency @ 29. Huh? Who exactly are they asking?

I believe that the MSM predictions are way off and that it will, indeed, be landslide Democrats in 2014.

I would put the pollsters at equal No 1 – like FoxNews and the GOP – they work to the result they want, rather than provide truth and/or accuracy.

Excellent article and analysis. It’s going to become increasingly more difficult to find people who actually watch tv news or read a newspaper–especially younger ones. The poll sample is going to keep skewing older as time goes on.

Only 2 People Showed UpTwo Richmond, Va. open carry advocates organized a demonstration in the city’s Carytown neighborhood on July 4, but they were the only two people to attend.

They invited more than 300 people on Facebook to walk down one of the city’s main streets openly carrying handguns, rifles and long guns, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Organizer Jason Spitzer, a Chesterfield County steel mill worker, was unable to explain the low turnout.

“I don’t know why,” he told the Times-Dispatch.

Spitzer said he thought Independence Day was the perfect day to “spread Constitutional awareness” and promote Second Amendment rights.

“But even if nobody came I’d still walk,” he said. “It’s the Fourth of July and I love my country.”

Open carry demonstrations have gained a lot of attention recently, particularly the group Open Carry Texas.

The group has staged protests at Chipotle and Target, prompting both chains to ask customers to refrain from bringing guns into the establishments. To July 4 Richmond Open Carry Demonstration

But the worst President in modern history according to Quinnipiac. That poll was put together for the Republicans, take notice that this Congress has terrible approval numbers, it’s call the do nothing Congress, the worst Congress. All of a sudden their is a poll which says Barack Obama is the worse President of modern day. As I said before Quinnipiac poll was is bogus, no I like B.S. better.

MLK said if you must judge, then not by skin color but the CONTENT of Character………

Then Jan 20th, 2009, 20 TBGOPers plotted a political Coup d’etat…….the very month US lost 818K jobs. 1st week in Feb job numbers clocked for 8.2%……The GOP apparatus was in the planning stages to decimated an already spiraling diseased economy into an early grave, down to 6 Feet Under.

      • July 6, 2014 at 8:24 pm

“The National Media is still Missing In Journalist Action 5.6yrs later.”

Well said, Nena! Real journalism in America died on on Jan. 20, 2009! What we have today, as replacement, is sometimes worse than tabloid journalism.

      • 44 jackiegrumbacher
        July 6, 2014 at 9:41 pm

It’s despicable as well as sad, Nena, that the GOP decided on Jan 2009, that causing untold hardship on the American people was worth it if it would make Barack Obama a one-term president. They thought they could put the blame for continuing economic catastrophe on the president and they would win. They lost that gamble and every economic triumph we see is more salt on their wounds. I hope it hurts like hell.

In 2014, more jobs were created than in the 8 yrs that GW Bush was installed by the Rehnquist Courts. They Stopped the Vote Counts in FL on Dec 9th, 2000 and ruled that GW Bush would be injured over voters on Dec 12th, 2000 if my memory serves me right.

Every News affiliate and wall to wall on Fox covered Quinnipiac last week calling it a reputable poll……Not one mentioned that in 2012, and prior, this Pollster was unreliable.

The Thursday June numbers were mentioned hardly……for Good News about this POTUS must be buried in the Era of the 44th POTUS. Shame on the lazy wicked arse media.

‘ Unfortunately, numerous reports about increased traffic, structurally deficient bridges, inadequate public transportation and potholed roads hasn’t spurred Congress to act. But if officials hear directly from you, their constituents, they might finally take notice.

That’s why we created the “I’m Stuck” app (for Apple and Android phones), which allows people to notify their representative or senator when they’re stuck in traffic, on the tarmac, or in a train. The pre-set message demands action on the Highway Trust Fund. You can add in your own comments, or just hit send. ‘

Racism is learn, it’s taught. I never will forget that commerical which they used to show on tv, where kids of all color were playing at the school playground, and a white mother and her little girl walk at the playground, the little girl saw a black little girl who she must have known and she wanted to go play with the black girl, but the mother stop her and ask don’t you want to go play with the girls over there who happen to be white. The little girl asked her mother why.

Fifteen minutes after entering the courtroom, Tarek was lead out. His mother and father later told reporters that Tarek was released on NIS 3000 bail (about $880) and placed under house arrest for his remaining time in the country. A condition of the house arrest was that it must be served outside of Shuafat, where his family lives. ***He is currently charged with no crime.***

Suha Abu Khdeir, Tarek’s mother, said that the family had received good support from the U.S. Consulate in Jerusalem. Asked whether the family had been contacted by either their member of Congress, Rep. Kathy Castor, or their Senators Marco Rubio and Bill Nelson, with words of support, she said they **had not.**

    • July 6, 2014 at 9:56 pm

      From the article…

Pardo said, according to the source, that the major threat to Israel is the conflict with the Palestinians. When some of the participants asked him to repeat what he said, he answered: “Yes, the biggest threat is the Palestinian issue.”

      ****************

this what was said in this country when talking about race relations…it was referred to as the “Negro Problem”….now they just refer to it as the “pulling the race card”….

So this is the leader of the rebels trying to overthrow Assad:

And this is the leader of ISIL

The juxtaposition of this alone would drive me mad trying to form a cogent foreign policy from an administration stand point!!!!

    • July 6, 2014 at 10:08 pm

1200+ years of these folk trying to out Mohammad each other should be ample reason to forge a policy of staying out of it while letting them know if they mess with Americans they’ll pay – which seems to be exactly the policy our wise President is pursuing.
