Yes, appears he does. As do others, of course. Ol’ Buzz set him straight, and I’m guessing enjoyed doing so.

    • July 21, 2014 at 12:00 am

I am so glad Buzz punched this pestering idiot who repeatedly called him a coward and liar, and would not get out of his face.

I hope so too, JOB! This idiot, who is totally ignorant of science, kept pestering Buzz, calling him a liar and a coward. To me the video clip clearly shows that this imbecile, who thinks the Bible has all the answers about science, was harassing Buzz. Finally, Buzz had had enough and he used his fist to tell the fucker to get out of his face! Sometimes, enough is enough!

        Putin is a MURDERER!

There are family members who are suffering because their love ones are scattered in a field; how long will this inhumane act be allowed?

Congress embraced Putin over President Obama, why are they not calling on their “dear friend” to stop this madness?

They publicly displayed their affection and adoration for this MURDERER, why are they not displaying it now to help the grieving families?

THE COWARDS ARE HIDING and BLAMING PRESIDENT OBAMA!

He is also creating thousands and thousands of refugees – the children of the world must truly wonder why their lives are being turned to ruin

        http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-07-21/ukraine-conflict-refugee-camps-russia/5611670

“As the MH17 tragedy focuses the world’s attention on Moscow and Kiev’s deadly battle for eastern Ukraine, thousands of locals continue to flee their homes amid widespread conflict.

Since fighting erupted between Ukrainian forces and pro-Russian separatists in the east of the country earlier this year, more than 100,000 people have packed their belongings and travelled to refugee camps, either in Ukraine or across the border in Russia.”

    Sick beyond words:

      • July 20, 2014 at 10:35 pm

It is bile beyond comprehension….does this MF think killing innocent kids is a video game?

        • July 20, 2014 at 10:39 pm

Evidently, LP … and, yes, even posting such a photo is ‘vile beyond comprehension’ ….

          • July 20, 2014 at 10:56 pm

            According to the article:

“….The Israeli military said the soldier’s commanders were investigating the incident. His actions “are not in accordance with the spirit of the IDF [Israel Defence Forces] or its values”, a spokesperson said. Ostrovski, who has closed his Instagram account, told the army he did not take the picture but found it on the internet.

Breaking the Silence, an organisation of veteran Israeli combat soldiers campaigning to raise awareness about life in the West Bank, condemned the image. “This is what occupation looks like. This is what military control over a civilian population looks like,” one member wrote on the group’s Facebook page. The image has been heavily criticised online. Electronic Intifada, a news site focused on Palestinian issues, described the photograph as “tasteless and dehumanising”. The site published several other images from Ostrovski’s Instagram page, including snaps of the soldier posing with heavy-duty guns…..”

I’m sure they are going to “investigate” in the same manner as the Israeli Policeman who beat that 15yr. old teen from Tampa Bay. That kid was on house arrest with no charges against him.

            http://news.yahoo.com/american-teen-beaten-mideast-talks-ordeal-213425874.html

They finally let him fly home last week b/c of State Dept. pressure.

            • July 20, 2014 at 11:15 pm

LP, we have no doubt that many, if not a majority, of Israelis deplore all of these atrocities. They, like the majority of Americans, need to get off their butts and VOTE, thereby flushing from their governance those who are more than happy to profit from fear and war.

              • July 21, 2014 at 12:53 am

I couldn’t agree with you more….. I wish people would recognize that by not voting you are doing as much damage by perpetuating/rewarding the irresponsible politicians who enact/execute these policies to the detriment of the populous.

              July 20, 2014 at 11:58 pm

I don’t believe them. I’ve yet to see BIbi get condemned by anyone. Israel can do whatever it wants, the soldier could have posed with the heads of Pakistani children and the media along with the US would continue to supply money to them. This isn’t criticism leveled at president Obama, but a response to how our media and their friends propagandized situations.

        • July 21, 2014 at 3:24 am

It’s really sad to see many Israelis –not all Israelis, by the way– who are the descendants of the victims of the sick ideology of racial supremacy, practice the same racial supremacy over Palestinians. It’s as if Palestinian children don’t really deserve to be treated as other normal children. In other words, According to many Israelis, the life of a Palestinian, regardless of age, is not worth 2 cents! Then again, who am I to criticize Israelis? We here in the U.S. are witnessing exactly the same attitude, by our fellow American right wingers, towards the refugee children on our border who are fleeing from violence in their countries.

This will be a lasting legacy well after President Obama is out of office:

President Obama will announce on Monday that 60 of the nation’s largest school districts are joining his initiative to improve the educational futures of young African-American and Hispanic boys, beginning in preschool and extending through high school graduation. The districts, which represent about 40 percent of all African-American and Hispanic boys living below the poverty line, have committed to expand quality preschool access; track data on black and Hispanic boys so educators can intervene as soon as signs of struggle emerge; increase the number of boys of color who take gifted, honors or Advanced Placement courses and exams; work to reduce the number of minority boys who are suspended or expelled; and increase graduation rates among African-American and Hispanic boys……continued

Netanyahu has been wanting to stat a war for some time now, he finally got his chance when those three Jews teens were murder. For the longest he wanted to start something with Iran, but he settle for Hamas.

      July 21, 2014 at 2:04 am

they don’t even know it was Hamas that killed those boys. It could have been the same person that murdered that Palestinian. The more I think about it the more I doubt that Hamas had anything to do with this. For all we knew the Israel government used this as a means to stage a war against the Palestinian people.

Now you’re sounding like Gov. Moonbeam, whom I adored in the 1970s, especially when he referred to Spaceship Earth.

Of course the east coast “liberal” media scoffed — I have no idea what young people on the East Coast thought about this concept, but no one can deny we have only one planet.

Also heard on the radio that Neil Armstrong was very nimble and pretty much of a “No-Drama Obama” type. Even Buzz Aldrin (more of a hothead — see references above) agreed that Armstrong was the right person to captain the first moon flight.

CBS radio news also said that Nixon called the crew when they landed, but they were busy doing other things (duh) and put him on hold.

  23. July 20, 2014 at 11:04 pm

Talk about believing in your kid……Rory’s dad & friends bet on him winning the British open in 2004 when he was 15!!

A spokesperson for British betting firm Ladbrokes confirmed on Sunday afternoon that it had held three bets that will allow Rory McIlroy’s father Gerry and his friends to make more than $300,000 off his son’s victory at Hoylake. Ladbrokes’ Rachel Bridge told ESPN.com that one bet — believed to be made by McIlroy’s father — was a 200-pound wager ($341) at 500/1 odds placed in 2004 for his son to win within 10 years. That bet will pay out $171,000. Ladbrokes first revealed on Twitter that it was paying out the winnings.

Those bets, Bridge said, were for 200 pounds at 250/1 for him to win The Open by 2015 and 200 pounds at 150/1 for McIlroy to win The Open before age 50. Those bets will pay out a combined $136,700.

“We take the chance on bets like these,” Bridge said. “We can make a lot money, but it’s a big risk if one comes through. Unfortunately, on this one, we have egg on our face. Rory’s father and his friends are having champagne on us tonight.” After winning the tournament, McIlroy — who won $1.66 million himself — was asked about the bets, though it appears that the golfer thought his father won half as much as he did. “Honestly, that 50 grand [pounds] that he’s going to win is way — I mean, the other three friends that he did that with, they’re going to be very happy,” McIlroy said to the press. “He’s never reminded me. I knew that he’d done it. I’m not sure if it will pay out. If it does, it’s a nice little bonus.”

    • July 20, 2014 at 11:26 pm

The reports I hear on CBS radio news breathlessly report about how McIlroy’s the youngest player to win the British Open since Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.

I don’t get it. Twenty five is approaching the downward slope for most athletes. It’s not like he’s 15 (like the article you linked to).

      • July 20, 2014 at 11:30 pm

Golfers have a longer shelf life.

        • July 20, 2014 at 11:34 pm

I understand that, it just seems weird to me that they’re fawning over how young McIlroy is, and he acknowledges his youth too.

I guess I’m just cranky because sports stars are so overpaid and overexposed.

      • July 21, 2014 at 1:26 am

Most golfers don’t even turn professional yet alone qualify to play in the PGA tour until their late 20’s at the earliest. The Nicklaus, Woods, comparisons today are because he is the only golfer to win 3 major championships by this age (just turned 25 in May.) Golfers winning 2 non major tournaments in a year are in the 95 percentile. Consider this… Phil Mickelson, who is the highest earning golfer in the world (50+ million/yr) is 44, has only won 5 majors in his career (first at age 34.) So Rory is so ahead of the curve, and he is on pace to win as many majors as Tiger/Jack (14) at Tiger’s current age. Nicklaus won 18 (his final at age 46) The incredible thing is Tiger has not won a major in 5 1/2 yrs. and is still on pace to tie/break Jack. If you take the top 100 golfers of all time by PGA tour wins… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_golfers_with_most_PGA_Tour_wins ….you would only have 11 total major wins by players still currently on tour (excluding Tiger/Rory) …in fact if you win 10 events in your career you would be in the top 100 of all time. So in a golf context this is a big deal. Hope I didn’t get to in the weeds for you, Arapaho!

  28. July 20, 2014 at 11:45 pm

UN Security Council is still in session. It is now addressing Ukraine. The current UNSC President, the UN Ambassador from Rwanda, has indicated that the UNSC is pressing for a cease fire from both Israel and Hamas. Nothing definitive. The Palestinian Representative at the UN has just indicated that during the next ‘minutes and hours’ the impact of the UNSC’s admonishments to all participants in the conflict will either be heeded or not.

    Time to prepare some dinner.

LL Hope you had a wonderful relaxed Birthday. Thank you for your wonderful posts this morning which gave us a lot to think about and for tonight’s post to mellow us on a summer Sunday night before we battle work and another week ahead in which President Obama will DO his job and GOP congress is on vacation but the media won’t mention that. I pray for the families who lost loved ones on the Malaysia plane and in Gaza. I also pray for the Israeli soldiers who died this weekend and their families. I swear, if GOD decided he can’t take anymore of this and just destroy earth with one giant asteroid I would not blame him. If he created man he must be so disappointed.
