    Idiots !

Conservationists studying bats in Arizona were recently confronted by a group of armed militia members who confused them for border crossers or smugglers, a local sheriff told television station KOLD.

The TV station reported on Tuesday that Santa Cruz County Sheriff Tony Estrada said the militia members were wearing camouflage and were heavily armed when they arrived on ATVs and confronted the scientists on the night of Aug. 23.

“Obviously they mistook them for smugglers or illegal entrants,” said Estrada. “They were armed. They put a spotlight on them.”

The scientists reported the incident to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s office and were unreceptive to the militia’s apology. Estrada said the confrontation luckily didn’t turn violent but noted that the volunteer militia isn’t welcome in Santa Cruz County.

“They really don’t accomplish anything,” Estrada said. “They really don’t. With about a 1,000 border patrol agents here in Santa Cruz County, a little group of militia men are not gonna make any difference at all. As a matter of fact, they’re going to get in the way and they could get hurt. Or they could hurt somebody else.”

Sure hope that the McDonnell verdict gives the US Attorney’s Office incentive to keep going. Would like to see Rick Perry and Chris Christie go down next, although Perry is in state court so more questionable whether a guilty verdict will happen here.

I think Perry could get indicted if there is proof he offered the Dem state AG a job to step down or cut her budget. It will be hard for him to excuse that eventhough the media won’t talk about it….

Instead of silly photo ops and the MSM equivalent of a ‘car chase’ to keep the masses interested, they actually govern. They know the difference between a political crisis and manufactured sound bite.

Is Chips around? Probably sleeping, but in addition to the news that Ronaldo wants to go back to ManU there is this little tidbit, just in case she thinks Danny is sometimes the evilest dog in the world.

    http://touch.latimes.com/#section/1780/article/p2p-81264115/

A 140-pound Great Dane in Portland, Ore., is making headlines after a veterinarian found 43 1/2 socks in the dog’s stomach during surgery.

The incident happened in February but only recently became public after the animal hospital where the socks were removed submitted the dog’s X-ray for a tongue-in-cheek industry award, said Shawna Harch, spokeswoman for DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital.

I’m just curious where the 1/2 sock came from.

      September 4, 2014 at 4:01 pm

There is a picture too Japa. The socks were all laid out. How did the dog live with those many Socks ingested?

This will probably scare Chips for her Danny.

        September 4, 2014 at 4:14 pm

I saw the picture but I don’t know how to post it. I hope I remember to remind her about both Ronaldo and this when she comes back on the scene.

Kittens and puppies are like babies you have to “pet” proof your home. I have to be two steps ahead of the kittens who will chew on and put anything in their mouths. I block them off any rooms that they can get into that have things that may harm them. I have to remove the string from the newspaper before I bring it into the house since they like to chew on it, I remove rubber bands before bringing them into the house, I have to cover electrical cords with stuff they don’t like because they chew on those too.

I wonder if Chips or dog owners in general just had a ton of chews all over the house for them that dogs would ever get tired of chewing on anything even yummy stuff?

Actually all clothes are favorites even with the older ones, and particularly those that haven’t been washed yet. In the good ole days, pantyhose used to be huge hit. They love the scents of their owners on the clothes. I am always pretty careful about leaving my dogs alone in the house, usually crate them or confine them to a room. I’ll never forget 20 odd years ago when my first Finnish Spitz chewed a huge hole in the middle of the back of one of my favorite silk tops that I had thrown on a chair in my bedroom rather than hanging up. But as I always told my daughter, don’t blame the dogs, that’s what they do:-)

Obviously a lot of important news happening today, but the next four days are of critical importance for me sports wise.

    It all begins tonight.

First my beloved Brewers, attempting to stay alive in the NL Central race, host the evil Cardinals of St. Ouis in the first iof a four game series.

Second, my beloved Packers travel to Seattle tonight to play the evil Seahawks in the wrost stadium for a visiting team in the universe.

And third, on Saturday, my beloved Michigan State Spartans travel to Eugene, Oregon to play the evil Oregon Ducks (owners of the absolute worse uniforms in all of sportsdom)in a game that may well go a long way to determine one of the four teams to compete for the national championship in January.

By Sunday night I will either be totally elated or totally depressed.

Thanks, Bob. This is the kind of statement that more Americans need to see, especially those who lump every ‘Muslim’ into one category and call them all terrorists.
