If all of those bashing PBO for his EO decision spent as much energy on getting folks registered and to the polls in November, they might have a shot at actually getting CIR passed with a Dem House. What a waste of energy. And if they think they will be better off with the Repubs who actually hate them, stay home or vote Repub, and good luck with that. And if I hear one more time that he could have done this in his first two years with a Dem Congress I just may laugh out loud. Do they remember the entire financial world was on the brink of collapse when he took office? And do they remember he had two wars to deal with? And do they remember he got ACA passed? And do they remember there was an oil spill gushing oil off the coast? I could go on and on. I swear this man has had the absolutely WORST presidency possible in terms of what he’s had to deal with. Yes, we all have our own special interests that we care about. And I want to see CIR passed as much as the next person. But we all know that once he does it by EO, he may well end up spending months dealing with the possibility of impeachment on top of everything else given the crazies. And there simply is only so much that can done in Washington at a time. Instead of lambasting PBO, they should be lambasting every single Latino who chose NOT to vote in 2010 if they need to rage at someone. But it would be far more productive to focus on THIS election.
