I am so glad John Kerry is our SOS! He is another energizer bunny. I know the right wing doesn’t understand or care, but because both John Kerry and PBO lived in other countries in their youth, they have an understanding and empathy for international relations that few have. The world is fortunate.

Nobody’s fool. These Senators know darn well that the Folks are against Citizen United. They know that the House will Kill the Bill and NEVER let it see the Day light. Had We a True Public Servant…….The News Media…..this will be a done deal even with Teabaggers’ Objections.
If the House brings it up for a vote I’ll be shocked even more.

I seem to be having a difficult time with WP today …. probably because I’m doing too many other things simultaneously ….
Every time I see PBO with a baby, or see parents hand their baby or child to the president, I am reminded of the ancient belief in “The King’s Touch.” One English king was believed to have curative powers, and people would come to him, just to be touched, or bring their children just to be touched, to cure them. I have not in my lifetime seen a president who has that magnetic pull on people, until now.
When I look at the parents’ eyes, it’s as if they are thinking their child will be blessed if he touches them.

Yep. I will never forget the 6th grade principle of my elementary school told our unruly class that we were all heathens and would wind up dead or in prison. She was the meanest person I ever met and could not understand how she rose to the position of principle.

Hi Chips I hope you feel better soon. It’s not fun having dental issues but I am glad Danny-boy is there for you. I remember when I had a bad day at work or not feeling well my jojothecat would curl up with me and lick my arm to say it well get better. Animals are natural sympathizers and comforters when you don’t have mom…..sometimes they’re better than moms.
