That lady on ABC NEWS 24 really is speaking her mind about what she thinks of Australia PM, not very much it seems.

I greatly enjoyed listening to her, AB. Was dismayed to hear that fool treasurer Hockley blowing nonsense about climate change should not even be a topic at a G20! As if all world economies were completely separate from climate, as if economic interests will carry on when there is no planet left? Right. I was delighted and relieved to hear her taking strips off his and Abbott’s stupid ass. Of all countries, you’d think Australia should be leading the world with solar everything by this century!

It seems like Bill Cosby is in a lot of trouble. I know it’s been on the airwaves so to speak for some time, but I’m paying a little more attention and don’t really know what to make out of it. Did he do it? I really don’t know and it’s a sad state of affairs. :(

I would be so sad if these allegations were true…that said, I have not been keeping up with this but did see this.

Rape is very serious and women should be encouraged to come forward immediately no matter how famous or powerful the accused person might be. It is unfortunate that the adults in her life then did not protect her and make sure she was not in a bad situation away from home. NO 17 or 19yr old should travel with an adult married man and share a bedroom in his hotel suite even if it is Bill Cosby. Something just does not add up with her story and if she was raped it really does not matter if she used poor judgment to travel with him in hopes of becoming an actress. If she fought off her attacker with scratches she could have gone immediately to the police especially as a young woman who HE shipped back home to Denver with the help of many people who could be witnesses.

If the two of them partner, now, they will be unbeatable on 8 Nov 2016, as long as their partnership is based on #BackBarack from now until then.

    Period.

Yes, they’re making fun of Lifetime TV Network which just aired a movie/biopic of the former R & B (now deceased) artist Aliyah (sp)…and the casting was so poorly done, that the actors bore no resemblance to the characters they were playing, not visually or in behavior. So now Black Twitter has started this hashtag mocking them…posting random pics of all kinds of individuals and saying that lifetime would cast them to play famous people! :) :) LOL…

The contrasts between the weather in the US and Australia are striking.

I heard on the radio that somewhere (they didn’t say) in Montana it’s -35F below zero.

Brisbane is on the ocean, and they’re getting this heat wave in what is equivalent to May 15 for us.

Something is screwing up their weather patterns, bringing weather from the inland northwest to them, just like something is screwing up our weather, bringing Arctic weather to the mainland US.

Reminds me of an episode of The Twilight Zone.

The President’s trip has been incredible and he is coming back for more action. I’ve read that his immigration EO could be released this coming week. I just read an article by Pew Research and this could be a BFD. I had no idea. They are speculating because they don’t have details, but I’m eager to see what the President will decide. I know he will be very thoughtful and make sure everything is above board and legal. They give their estimates, but I’m not going to copy all of that. We should know the facts soon!

….If it happens, it would be the most significant protection offered to unauthorized immigrants since 1986, when Congress passed a major immigration bill that allowed about 2.7 million unauthorized immigrants to obtain a green card, with many ultimately gaining U.S. citizenship. Currently, an estimated 1 million unauthorized immigrants have temporary relief from deportation through either the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program or having Temporary Protected Status…..

      More here: http://www.immigrationpolicy.org/just-facts/executive-grants-temporary-immigration-relief-1956-present

It’ll be a BFD…and the RWNJ’s head’s will all explode and their veins will bulge out on their necks….who cares! They had a chance to do the right thing and they decided to obstruct. Too bad, so sad…now it’s time for PBO to do right by these people living their lives in the shadows and being vilified…they contribute and get nothing for it….they can bring the senate bill up for a vote, but they won’t because they’re cowards…..to do the right thing is not in their genetic makeup.

While we’re waiting for PBO’s press conference, here’s an update on CA. My Dem rep retains her seat. I’m glad she did, but unlike in the red states, the GOP candidate was a moderate Republican — an Iraq War vet from a military family, pro-choice and pro-immigration — however, he would have pushed very hard to lower taxes on the 1%.
