The one in the middle used to lurk in waiting for us at the edge of the schoolyard after school. Several of us girls used to duck behind the bushes at the side of the building to roll up our skirts at the waist, before going to catch the bus - in case there were cute guys from the military academy up the road on the bus! Damn skirts came down below mid-calf, as if we had no legs!! That sister busted us a number of times, made us unroll the skirts, but hey, whatever weird thrill she got from it, we just went a little further and rolled them up again!! ;) We had our eyes on the future!!
The long skirts, mid calf (had to be 14″ from the ground in 9th grade in the freakin’ ’60s!) … on a 5’9″ high school girl … oh the humanity! We hiked ‘em up before and after. Thank goodness for our dumb-looking uniform belts!
And the funny thing, too, is that - if I’m remembering correctly - their habits signify “Sisters of Mercy.”

Early on this trip, I watched a livestream of the WH briefing with Josh Ernest, Ben Rhodes and the US Trade Representative Michael Froman.
Could not believe how combative the MSM was — the first question that I saw was from Julie Pace, AP, who ended her 3-part question by asking if PBO had called the Comcast CEO prior to announcing his support of net neutrality. MSM is incapable of viewing a situation from the common good, and pounces at the opportunity to support greedy corporations instead.
