Yay! more tweets from Nerdy.
Yay, it’s Vicki!
Congratulations on first.
Congrats Vicki :)
Excellent set of tweets, as always, NW. Thank you!
Good for you, Vicki!
Thank you, nerdy, bob and judith
PBO arrives back in WH about 10PM tonight according to Chips on R & S. I am always glad when PBO is safely home, no matter how splendid his overseas trips are.
What is ahead??
When will the St.Louis Grand Jury announce their decision?
When will The President announce his Executive Order on Immigration?
What will happen on November 24 re:US/Iran Nuclear Deal?
Sure to be a busy “lame(hahahahaha) duck” session.
How do you do
It Nerdy?
Faaaaaaaaaaaantastic tweets Nerdy, thank yooooooou Legend!
Thanks for posting, Chiparooooooooooooooovanpersie. :)
Good Evening, Everyone :)
Thanks for the coverage of the President’s overseas trip. As always, TOD rocks and brings it!
McCaskill is squishy. Does not know her core values, and goes wherever she thinks is popular at the moment.
Does she *have* any core values?
Good, because I have cooled toward her after she flaked out on the President.
McCaskill has always been for Hillary Clinton. In other word like Ms. Grimes said, McCaskill is and always has been a Clinton Democrat.
These Democrats never really supported this President anyway. McCaskill says the voters sent them a message, and that message was we don’t like it one bit that the cowardly Democrats ran away from this President.
McCaskill was one of the very first Obama supporters when most other Dems were in the Clinton camp.
Not again! Does no one in ISIL have a heart/soul/morals/feelings other than hate? God what must it be like to live in a group surrounded by heartless murderers like this!
thanks for posting this bobfr. my youngest son is serving in kabul right now, and stories like this give me a nice warm glow.
Please thank your son for his service, Susanne, and I hope he enjoys the story, as well. Perhaps he’ll even get to do a bit of skate boarding with the girls :)
that would be fun to see!
Hahaha! Aliens looking for intelligent life. It won’t be found from those hanging out days before Black Friday!!!
That was a really good tweet. LOL. right out loud.
Don’t be bothered by the ‘lame duck’ chatter in this piece of analysis, because some of the content is very important, to wit:
“In the recent talks in Oman with US Secretary of State John Kerry and outgoing European Union Foreign Minister Catherine Ashton, the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei sent personal representatives to join in the talks—along with Foreign Minister Javad Zarif. The presence of personal representatives from Khamenei means that whatever deals were reached had the tacit input of the Supreme Leader and the Supreme National Security Council whose voice in the final talks is decisive. Had the Iranians been solely represented by Zarif, the possibility of a deal being struck and then vetoed by the Supreme Leader was a serious possibility. That danger is now, in effect, minimized.”
http://mebriefing.com/?p=1286
Really attending to every single detail to make sure that this agreement becomes reality. No sloppiness here, which goes to Sec Kerry’s brilliance here (and anyone else that is working on this) as well as PBO as the leader of this country and the one who’s orders are being followed to a tee. I hope this all comes to fruition as planned.
Sounding real promising!
Thanks, Bobfr, for staying with this.
Good news. Thanks Bob.
LIVE NOW: President Obama Arrives Joint Base Andrews - http://www.cbsnews.com/liveFeed/widget.shtml
Thank you BFF!!!!
Really???? This is from the CBS feed:
Presidneet Obama arrives, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland
One hour, 20 minutes early!
If they called him PRESIDENT Obama, rather than just “Obama” all the time, they might know how to spell the word!!
OMG! I didn’t even notice until you said!!!
That’s because you had too much champagne last night:) It may be petty of me, but this just ticks me off…can’t people have attention to details anymore…especially “journalists” who’s JOB is to get stuff like this, right??
They fixed it now:)
Thanks, Chips! You got CBS to move their ass!
CBS news feed as GOP friendly as ever (unfortunately seeing their “feed” while watching PBO) - the US has NO reporters - only GOP pundits.
I wonder was that the CBS person we saw drunk in our bar last night?
hahaha - they fixed it - must follow you on twitter
I’m sad now 99ts, I quite liked Presidneet! Good morning to ya!
And we liked the President - he has a new home awaiting come 2017
He often looks weary on these trips because the schedule is so nuts, but there’s something about Oz, he never stops smiling.
But remember, Ireland will be his first holiday home come 2017, so back off you.
Too cold in Ireland - the man likes the Pacific beaches
Hold it you. Thanks to global warming, Ireland now looks like this:
PM Abbott’s gift to the people of Ireland!
Told ya he’s a good and generous man at heart, you just need to be more patient with him :-)
‘Ireland will be his first holiday home’
/smh/ Chips, did you forget where he made his first official visit after he was ‘crowned’? You really ought to be given credit for being such a believer in the near impossible - a consistent dreamer in real life as well as in sports.
Yeah but, that’d be like going in to your back garden for a vacation
What’s wrong with that, I do it on occasion myself? Think of how much you could save!
Now I just picture you camping out in your back garden for your holiday.
:???:
 In a tent? You kidding me, when a comfortable bed is within easy reach! Not likely, though your tent is pretty.
More importantly, what fruit is that? It’s been a while since I’ve eaten a ‘freshly picked’ fruit.
Arrives just a few hours after he left Australia :)
Good Evening Chips! Good Evening NW! Good Evening TOD Family!
Thank you sooooooo much for coverage of the G20 Summit, especially the spectacular reaction in Brisbane. So glad to see PBO’s plane touching down back home. Job well done, Mr. President.
On another note, I am watching the hilarity that is the McCain/Palin (Dumb & Dumber) 2008 campaign featured in the movie “Game Change.” It’s even more nutty to view it from the vantage point of two PBO terms. Gah, what a mess that was.
Evening, all.
My techy geeky weekend went swimmingly. Now I only have to get rid of a low grade cold. Sighs. Waiting for a delivery of carnitas and then I’m snuggling into bed.
(No Chips, I won’t ask you for chicken soup. I know it’s traumatic for you.)
Aaaaaaw, {{LL}} Eat up quickly and get thee to bed!
Aside for 3 hours when I was running errands for myself and Mother of LL, I’ve been in bed most of the day. Laundry can wait; I have enough clean clothing.
Thanks, Chips. See y’all tomorrow.
Look after yourself LL, sleep well.
I’m not trying to pry, just concerned. Lib_L, have you ever checked why you get a bad throat, cold, or flu so often? At least it seems often to me, and makes me wonder if *you* have investigated to make sure that all is well overall.
You’re a sweetie, VC. Actually, it’s mostly during the winter months that I’m susceptible to colds. And really, right now I just feel “blah”, not a full blown cold. I started getting them when I began working with the public. Damned people and their germs.
Ok, more water, and off to nod.
:) :) Okay
………………………
psst. So LA really has a ” ” winter” “? Hmmmm. /skedaddles, smiling /
So glad to see my president arrive home early safe and sound! :)
Right on Chips. And he’s now up in Marine One en route to the WH! :)
i’m so poud of our president! and i know that if chips didn’t create this awesome site, we’d have very little knowledge of all the good he’s doing. thanks obama! and thanks chipsticks!
I always feel so much better when he comes home safely..
Me too Prettyfoot, that touchdown moment is always lovely :-)
Wonderful tweet, Chips. And, they must have had quite a tailwind to have already arrived in DC!!
Ah, thank you Bob. About an hour and 20 early? Why are my flights never like that? Well, true, I don’t fly on AF1. Yet.
“Yet.” :D
Mother Nature seems to love PBO! :)
Yep!! :)
I’ll bet he can’t wait to hug FLOTUS and the girls and sink into a comfortable armchair. Hope he sleeps in tomorrow.
POTUS is home safely. Good.
Chuck Todd Amazon Book Review Update:
23 reviews with an average rating of 1.5 out of 5 stars.
1-star (19)
2-star (1)
3-star (1)
4-star (0)
5-star (2)
Two of them must be relatives……..
LOL! One of the “5-star” is actually a very nasty review - they gave it 5-stars so that people would click on it and read it, but there’s no love for Chuckie’s book in that review. Chips even tweeted it out - it was so scathing and hilarious at the same time. :)
The other 5-star might be a relative as you indicated…a very racist one at that…calling PBO “Barry” and emphasizing his middle name.
But 21 bad reviews out of 23 bodes very poorly for Chuckie’s book sales…Amazon has already slashed the price almost by half…in less than 1 week.
Maybe the pages are soft enough to make good toilet paper in an outhouse somewhere.
You.Are.Baaaaaad.
:) :)
So sue me!- rotflmao
:)
He gave himself 5 stars. There is no other reasonable explanation.
It’s either him or one of his four sidekicks- Ms. Greenspan, Tweety, Coward Fineman or Moaning Joke…
I’m holding out for a relative or someone that owes him some money.
I’m going to help Chuck out. I am going to buy his book. I have 25 cent in my pocket, soon as it get down to that price I will buy the book.
A lot of us secretly wish this on some level, but at the same time we don’t want to seem selfish, and we want to see our President leave on a high note and have the freedom to pursue whatever he wants to do while he’s still young and vigorous! :)
I am selfish hf…but I do fear what will happen to our country when he leaves office….
There are times when I feel that way too prettyfoot58 and hopefruit2, wishing POTUS and FLOTUS could be President and our First Lady for six or more years. Then there are times when I feel like this country doesn’t deserve him, them. Then there are times when I feel POTUS have done his time, now it’s time to put his family first. Because as he said in that speech of his at Morehouse, his greatest legacy will be his daughters, when he is on his death bed what would cross his mind is not the policies he passed or the leaders he have met or the places he have travel, but what would cross his mind is the time with Michelle, his daughters. I might not have it word for word, but it was close to what he said.
I think koalas look like George Schultz….cuter, but that’s what I think of:)
DF, I told you to ease off that champagne last night. But would you listen? Oh no.
I see it! Can you see it? George needs to be a little older and the koala is definitely cuter “cuz I would NEVER snuggle with that beast of a man…but I can still see it…nose, maybe? Eyes? Something… Work with me here!!
“I see it! Can you see it?”
:) LOOK HARDER!!
:) :) OH COME ON!!! You’re not even TRYING to see George looking like a koala! Somebody help me…
:) :)
I took my glasses off too…..can’t see it df…so sorry.
We-ell, they are dressed alike - almost identical outfit.
vc…the koala has fur….:) But I DO like your thought process! You see it, don’t you? :)
Was thinking colour scheme ….. hey, I was trying to help you out here!
The people will speak, DF. :???:
OH JEEZ!!!
Get away from the punch bowl df. You’re denigrating a defenseless animal.
 I flippin’ hope the koala I used in the pic doesn’t have a lawyer.
:) If I have yardarm telling me to step away….this is really bad. Bad. Bad.
For real!
So while French & Japanese journalists were covering the issues of the G20 - Major Garrett was taking in the sights and visiting the koalas - the US news media in action
” … Jeff Wittenburg, a journalist for French television network France Deux said their coverage was “100 per cent politics”.
“We were here to cover our president Francois Hollande’s meetings and visits,” he said.
Taichi Kono, a journalist for the network TV Asahi, said they did not focus on Brisbane.
“It’s important for us, the economic matters in G20,” he said.
…
Major Garrett, the White House Correspondent for CBS News in the United States, took time out during his visit to shoot a story about koalas. ”
Shame he couldn’t write a story about his President - which is what he is presumably paid to do!!!
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-11-17/g20-brisbane-how-the-international-media-saw-brisbane/5896390
They’re useless, 99. Overpaid, under skilled and destructive. If every one of them were fired and every msm station shut down, the US would be no less informed than it is now.
Well said JackieG!
Didn’t that come out less than a week ago? Bwahahahaha:) Gonna be on the 50cent table by Thanksgiving…poor delusional Toad….thought he was a writer…..
What’s the VAT for? So you can put the book in the VAT and it disintegrates? crappy book comes with your very own vat…interesting concept.
No words.
http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/11/13-year-old-shot-dead-by-gun-that-accidentally-went-off-in-nearby-hotel-room/
Scary for me to be confronted with the fact that a bullet can penetrate a hotel room wall.
And that the guy that shot the gun off…SHOULDN’T HAVE HAD IT TO BEGIN WITH!!
I didn’t read it. IMO, Desertf, most people brandishing guns today shouldn’t have them to begin with! Guns are made to kill, so I don’t get why so many people are desperate to own one. I don’t get why so many pro-lifers can’t live without one.
Freegundom…..
Indeed, Jojo
And the KKK is worried about Ferguson? Go figure. - smh
You mean the Tea Republican Party (the new KKK) is worry about Ferguson.
Them too bella.
Hay news media, I’m so scared of ebola, but gun violence doesn’t concern me one bit.
Nerdy’s LOLs!
