Hello, i just want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone on TOD for their support & encouraging words that were shared with me over the weekend. Thanks NW for creating the independent front page story out of stuff i wrote in time of anger & disillusionment. Thanks a lot for all your feedback. I wasn’t able to respond to your words (although i wanted to do so to each comment) because i have been

Linda - we very much appreciated your sharing your story on TOD; And you had every right to be angry and disillusioned from this unfair and accusatory treatment from someone who was supposed to be a professional. But I am glad you were able to find some measure of comfort and support from Nerdy’s post and the related comments from all the TODers. I hope you feel better soon and are able to start the process of psychological recovery from this incident.

Hf, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton and Martin O’Malley have said they would announce their decisions this summer and, frankly, I’m glad we’re not having an endless campaign season. It would not surprise me if there were some unexpected announcements in late June or early July because some people’s egos will not allow them to stand by and let others run. Even now, I’m beginning to suffer from election fatigue and I don’t know how I’m going to stomach seeing the creepy Cruz’s image in newspapers and magazines or that dweeb Rand Paul or the fatuous Jeb Bush, to name just a few of the museum of horrors Republicans that think they’re smart and appealing enough to be president. God help us all, it’s going to get very, very ugly.

I’ve got money on that she’s not running. She doesn’t seem engaged in issues at all and I think Bill is way past being able to get out and do the type of campaigning with her that would be required.

Mark Holden wants you to love the Koch brothers

WICHITA, Kan. — Every morning around 7:30, hundreds of Koch Industries employees walk from their cars and trucks across a large, gated-off parking lot and into a tiny glass building, no bigger than a log cabin. There, a stone’s throw away from the office buildings where they work, the employees use their keycards to get past security and descend into an underground tunnel that leads to the heart of the more-than-one-million-square-foot headquarters.

The isolated campus feels like a fortress, but over the past five years, as Koch transformed from a nearly anonymous Midwestern oil and manufacturing company to a reviled symbol of corporate influence in politics, the security has been necessary. Protesters and other aggrieved citizens showed up by the busful. Death threats poured in for the company’s septuagenarian leaders, David and Charles Koch. Hackers attempted to infiltrate the company’s networks multiple times.

GM all. Will be more lurker than anything else today. Walked into work to find out both my boss and her boss are off today and I have been lucky enough to have a bunch of stuff they normally are responsible for dumped on my desk. So will be extremely busy.

Love the fact that Cruz is getting an Obamacare policy. Bob Cesca has a column today about how he really had a lot of options and chose to take Obamacare because IT IS THE BEST DEAL OUT THERE!!! Although Cruz will never admit that.
