FURST!
gm Chips and TOD
Lovely picture of the Aussies and FLOTUS - but this illegal fursting has to stop :) - Even the team won this match fair and square.
Somewhat of a disappointing game - but better to be on the right side of the result.
When GGail arrives she will no doubt to thrilled to learn - no more cricket :)
:-) Are you drowning in champagne 99ts? Congratulations!!!!
amk offered free beer - that’s as good as it gets in the world of cricket - when amk is buying!
No way?? Had he been drinking?
Quite likely - perhaps still drowning his sorrows from the India/Australia game
He doesn’t take defeat well, that fella - and as a supporter of Indiastan you’d think he’d be used to it by now.
friggin’ limeyreesh.
You’ve cheered up then?
done& dusted the moment our losers lost.
gimme back my beer.
Our FLOTUS is stunning and awesome.
Wow. This outfit is Gorgeous.
The 2008 outfit at the Dem Convention.
The 2012 outfit at the Dem Convention.
The Black gown, FLOTUS had her hair flattened.
Now this outfit…..Sizzles ;)
Morning, Chips, and thanks for such a beautiful photo on this Palm Sunday morning.
A pleasure, good morning Jackie!
You know the way I have become a touch accident-prone……? Um, did it again yesterday, whacked my leg on a rock while I was out with Danny, spent about 95 hours having it X-rayed  But it’s completely fine, just bruised, so the x-raying business was a complete waste of almost an entire flippin’ Saturday. I know Amk will be along soon to offer sympathy and understanding :-)
Aw, Chips, I’m sorry you had to go through that, but I’m glad you had it checked out. Maybe you can make up for it today by giving yourself some special treats and chilling out n a big armchair. You have a badge of honor-a wounded leg-and that entitles you to a little self indulgence in my book.
Well, you’re very kind Jackie, but I’m not sure I deserve any treats after another eejity moment :-) Danny is worn out from rolling his eyes at this stage.
Chips, we ALWAYS deserve treats. Never pass up an opportunity!
Oh, if you insist. I think I’ll copy this lady and have a Cheesy Puff bath:
That’s a pretty tiny bathtub… probably best to avoid an overindulgence of the cheesy things…
Theo, it is not possible to overindulge in Cheesy Puffs!!
My mistake - I offer a humble apology… *bows while backing away slowly (and cautiously)*
Apology accepted - but don’t ever repeat it #AlmostUnforgivable
:-)
When I spend hours having medical tests, I hate that they find nothing wrong - but then I think of the alternative & decide maybe it’s a good thing to find nothing wrong. Just a random thought - I hate going to doctors and the older one gets - the more often it seems to be needed. When you rule the world could you reverse this trend.
:-) Luckily my 23 and a half year old bones are strong.
“I hate that they find nothing wrong”
I know, aren’t we weird! I was kind of ‘WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT’S NOT BROKEN!1!1′
The funniest thing is, I hobbled in like I had a war injury, but once I knew it was fine I walked out merrily. The mind is a funny thing!
hope the medical personnel did not miss anything and that you continue to get better
Thank you Linda!! It’s fine today so I don’t think there’s any problem at all, just a bit sore and bruised - like my pride :-)
Aww! Sorry about your injury and the long wait to get checked out. Hope the leg will be better soon. Maybe a few licks from Danny will make it all better.
Thank you my beloved Dame Delicious! Danny’s not even talking to me, he just thinks I’m embarrassing. He’s right, really. :-)
Just another ungrateful teenager! What does he know? :-)
That’s what I said to him Dudette, and he just rolled his eyes again.
we have gals like this
and then we have gals like ………..
Morning Chips. Sorry about your bruised pride and your leg. I too am coming up on the age of 24 and I find that these little mishaps are happening a little more often. Take care of yourself.
:-) Thank you Jackie - us youngsters just have to be more careful!
good morning :-)
Morning Libra!!
Good Morning Everyone
Moooooooorning Rikyrah!
Wow, that’s an awful lot of beauty on that stage. I love the blue gown.
Blue is such a magical color jackie - it adds another dimension to a lovely dress.
When I was a young girl, Palm Sunday was a magical day because the church always had a special scent from all the fronds and when we brought our palms home, my sisters and I could make little crosses with them and put them on a wall. Palm Sunday always meant that Easter week, time off from school and all the treats that came with the end of Lent were on their way. It was the time to think about coloring eggs, getting a new hat from Easter Sunday church and, if money permitted, a new pair of shoes. Everything held an air of excitement and anticipation as if something wonderful were about to happen. It’s been a very long time since I felt that way about the week ahead, but it would be great to capture just a little of that these days.
Jackie, I have those same memories. Thanks for renewing.
Haven’t seen end of last thread since I posted about Andrea Mitchell’s report. Can’t bring it over. If someone wants to that would be good.
Jackie and tnmtngirl…..I too have those memories. I remember the best Easter was the year our father took us shopping…..his two girls. My mom was ill and couldn’t go, but we could not go without our new Easter clothes. Well, our mom was a thrifty shopper…..as most moms are. Our dad just took us to the girls’ department and basically bought us whatever we wanted. It was fun…….but I think it meant more to him than to us, really. As we lived in Chicago, we never knew what the weather would be on Easter, so a spring coat was always part of our “emsenble.” What we bought for Easter…..the dress…..was our Sunday dress for the spring and summer, so it was important.
Thanks for the memories.
Easter has always been my favorite holiday, inspired by the pastels that show up everywhere.
My childhood Easter memories are more secular (Easter basket goodies, egg hunts and a brand-new [pastel, of course, LOL] frilly dress and shoes]), but all good. :)
From what the Internet tells me, the weather in the northeast/Midwest is not signaling Spring.
FWIW, I’m harvesting the first tomatoes today from my “rescue” tomato plant today. :) On a related OT note, here’s my first (small) strawberry harvest this week, a reminder to east coast/Midwest folks that Spring will be there soon:
Hey TOD Hope everyone in the Village is having a good weekend. I got my cup of coffee and just kicking back on the internet seeing what’s going on before I start my Sunday! Hey Chipster! :-)
Helloooooooooooo Alice, have a blissful Sunday!!
Goooooddd mmmorrrniinnngggg, Chips, Danny, NW and all of TODville!!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
Gooooooooooood moooOOOoooOOooooOooooOooooorning Ms Majestic!!
Looking for verification…….!!!!
The GOP brigade will be crying all over the sunday shows
If someone can verify, would be good to post video of A. Mitchell’s report that I mentioned on last thread.
TN, I checked your comment on the last thread and I would be SO thrilled to have Mrs. Greenspan proven completely and utterly wrong.
It’s times like this I’m glad I got rid of my TV — whatever doom and gloom that GOP mouthpiece (or as a twitterer responded to Chips months ago, “mothpiece” [still laugh at this every time I think of it]) has to say would surely spoil anyone’s Palm Sunday.
There is very little difference in the bloodthirsty, warmongering #MSM and #47traitors. Their outright distain, disrespect and undermining our Commander-In-Chief should be grounds to revoked their journo credentials.
Not looking forward to Chamberlain capitulation comparison that will be loudly broadcast by those lazy elected officials, off on another 2-week, taxpayer funded junket.
Forgot to post this tweet: :(
So, Carson proudly announces that is favorite Treasury secretary is the one who admitted to his own incompetency, which precipitated the last global economic crisis? right…. this man should never be president.
afp is a decent news outlet.
Representatives of six world powers are intensifying talks with Iran on its nuclear programme, ahead of a 31 March deadline for a deal.
The US secretary of state and German and French foreign ministers have all cancelled their travel plans in a final push for an agreement.
Representatives from China, Russia and the UK are also at the negotiations.
US officials say all parties have agreed to a “step by step approach” to the deal, but sticking points remain.

Not seeing this supported by other news agencies……….
From bbc
“Representatives of six world powers are intensifying talks with Iran, as a deadline to reach a deal on Tehran’s nuclear programme looms.
The US secretary of state and German and French foreign ministers have all reportedly cancelled their travel plans in a final push for an agreement.
…
Diplomatic sources told Reuters that the parties had offered mutual compromises at Sunday’s talks in an attempt to break the deadlock.
Mr Zarif had said on Saturday that progress was being made.
“I think we can in fact make the necessary progress to be able to resolve all the issues and start writing them down in a text that will become the final agreement,” he said.”
Apparently Sec Kerry cancelled going home for the Edward Kennedy event.

Thank you, 99ts!!
They had an article earlier (still there but further down the page) noting
“Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has again warned of a deal with Iran, describing it as worse than his country had feared.”
So he is still trying to get the US and Europe into another war.
He disgusts me. He is incapable of working for peace.
Keep pushing through!
Oooooooooh…..
Let’s hope….let’s HOPE!
Anyone watching Gov. O’Malley on the teevee?
Gov. OMalley went there …… !!!!
EGG.SACK.LEE
It sure isn’t Governor O’Malley. You sure spoke the truth.
Morning everyone!
Brilliant! Mooooooorning DF!
Morning, Your Chipness! Does your boo boo leg feel better today? Sorry….
That’s the embarrassing thing DF, it feels 99% fine - which may possibly suggest I was being a drama queen yesterday :???:
You??? A drama queen??? Nooooo. No way. You must have something that the xray didn’t catch that will “pop up” later…I think Danny does roll is eyes. A lot.
HIS EYES:)
 He does DF …. but I do give him cause.
Five Star ***** tweet. TY df
MOOOOOrning, Chips and TOD.
Mooooooooooooorning Nerdyaroo, she looks spectacular!!!!
<3
Morning MightyP!
Mornin’ Chipsticks, I offered a duly sympathetic comment in your bruise, but wp eated it. It ended with a hug and a recommendation for using Arnica! If you have any
Ah, thank you {{{MightyP}}}!
Good Morning TOD!
Perfection from head to toe.
Good morning, NW! Stunning!
And always way way way ahead of everyone else’s game.
Good morning, Nerdy and all of TOD.
I have been mostly silent and holding my breath concerning the possibility of an Iran deal, but i have to chime in today on FLOTUS and this stunning dress and look. The dress is gorgeous and I think the hairstyle works to perfection with it. If the next one in the WH is OMG Hill—-well we’d better get our fill of WH fashion now because pickings will be slim to none with Lady Walmart.
Our lovely FLOTUS.
Remember that PBO is playing golf meta - probably a done deal!
OMG, inorite? I love how PBO trolls these nuts!!
meta, its not that PBO trolls them, its that he trolls them so cold-bloodedly.
It’s that steel spine.
Good Sunday Morning to Chips and TODVille!
Moooooooorning No Child!!!
g’nite TOD - wishing all good things for your Sunday
Night 99ts, and congratulations again!
Good West Coast morning Chipsticks & TOD family.
Congratulations Aussies & especially our very own 99ts on becoming World Cricket Champions.
It’s finally over… Right? 😊
 You can come out now GGail, it’s over!!!!
YAY! 😀😀😀
I can see you are not converted
No mas! I have more than enough sports teams rattling around in my head! :D :D
Good morning TOD. A Change is Gonna Come
This guy is fantastic. Who is he?
French singer Mani Hoffman
Thanks no spin. Happy Sunday.
No surprise to any at TODville:
From the article:
“But for every expert, there seems to be some Ya-hoo whose sole qualification is that he watched Airport ’77.” (side-eye to Don Lemon’s ‘black hole’ theory for loss of MH370)
MSM needs to pay heed:
“we seem to have lost that sacred mantra of journalism: that the public journal is a *public trust*.”
“But for every expert, there seems to be some Ya-hoo whose sole qualification is that he watched Airport ’77.”
I want that on my tombstone.
The mere fact that President Obama is out in Florida playing golf while the P5+1 negotiates a historic and far reaching nuclear deal with Iran speaks to the trust that world leaders and President Obama have in each other. President Obama laid the ground work for this deal to take place, and he’s also smart enough and secure enough in himself to relinquish the dotting of T’s and crossing of I’s to his partners at the United Nations. Make no mistake; this deal if done is probably one of the most important deals of the last one-hundred years involving our global partners.
It also demonstrates the great level of trust PB O has in SoS Kerry and the great US negotiating team. A huge thanks to all these public servants and all those representing other nations
So true, Kerry is so elegant and dignified, he exudes confidence and he is very humble.
In a single tweet, a WHPC “reporter” unmasks the juvenile thinking of our 4th estate; much prefer TOD-friend @Our4thEstate: :)
And hey, I love lizards — which abound where I live (saw a foot-long one this week — it was enormous, had no idea they grew that big — sluggish, though):
And not one of those assholes thought about giving the Geckos some privacy.
I was reading were Ms. C. Tyson made this comment and I thought of our FLOTUS. Ms. Tyson said that the moment anyone tries to demean or degrade you in anyway, you have to know how great you are, “Nobody would bother to beat you down if you were not a threat”.
That’s Ms. Cicely Tyson.
Congrats to 99ts and all our Aussie TODers on the big Cricket World Cup win!
Congrats to the New Zealanders on a successful season and great tournament.
I thought it was always Freedom of Religion - meaning whatever works for you or none at all.
Okay so maybe no NCAA HQ for Georgia either.
Chat on!
