When Ahmad Rashad isn’t playing golf with President Obama (for like the 8x this past weekend) he gets to interview Bugs Bunny

…brings back fond memories for us sneakerheads

This coming from the person Scott Walker hired to run his digital campaign and then promptly fired a day later because of Iowa GOP & her pro gay rights position:

This is actually a huge deal (would have had to find 6 GOP votes..not 4, b/c nobody wanted to be the deciding vote)……this past week he said he was going to abstain due to DOJ investigation…means votes are there if dickhead Mcturtle will actually bring up her nom

Please sign and pass along. I’m so sick of this mess re: persecuting women regarding what happens with their personal health issues. If miscarrying a fetus is a crime now, I’d be in jail many times over.

I know very few women who haven’t had at least 1 miscarriage - my mother had 3, I had 1. The US states are approaching insanity with their war against women - it is real and it is ghastly.

Love how they’re all hanging in there. Not only is this dreadfully important for the globe, but also I’d love to see both Secretary Kerry and (especially) President Obama be able to announce a deal.

        April 2, 2025 at 12:18 am

Amen. I read that President Obama earlier in the week told Kerry to forget deadline of the 31st and to let the Iranians know he is prepared to walk and leave all sanctions in place if the Iranians want to play games. Maybe he got some results with that.

I heard a few of the President’s “tough words” and had some similar thoughts, myself. Fingers crossed!

I agree….let them deal with (God forbid but possible) a Republican President. I hope they don’t make the same mistake Arraphat made when he walked away from a peace deal during Clinton only to be rebuffed by GWB.

Bone tired from spending April Fools Day in Salem lobbying the Oregon Legislature to pass the bill for universal background checks for gun sales. Passions were swirling all over the Capitol today! Cautiously optimistic…

What others are saying about John Boehner’s speakership: a total mess, incoherent, convoluted, willful ignorance. It’s the”willful ignorance part that doesn’t let him understand President Obama’s foreign policy.

      April 2, 2025 at 7:47 am

I like the reply on twitter which says

“Respectfully, Mr. Speaker, these types of communiques are beneath your office. You R THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE! Act like it!”

Such tweets from a senior politician are disgusting and illustrate the lowest levels the GOP has reached.

Totally disgusting … others have reminded him he’s on foreign soil and shouldn’t be putting down his President while on walkabout … funny that Bush’s people insisted on that.

Wow! John Kerry is kicking butt and taking names. Not bad, an all-nighter at age 71. I’m 66 and they would have to haul me out on a stretcher with that kind of schedule.
