I will never get the kill him mentality. You have the gun. You have the back-ups. So, you have the power. So, how & why in the world would you feel ‘threatened’? And the system propagates this he was threatened myth. That’s the institutional racism for ya.
“That’s the institutional racism for ya.”
Yep.
Good morning amk
GM Bob.
So. I was just followed by a French tweeter named Creme de la Creme. What does he/she offer?
Les étudiants des meilleures écoles et universités de France travaillent pour vous à la demande. Envoyez-leur un SMS : http://cremedelacreme.io #FrenchTech
For those whose French is rusty: Students at the best schools and universities in France work for you on demand. Send them a text.
Very odd.
It will be very interesting to see if EW is challenged in her next election, and how well she does on her own without PBO out there campaigning for her. She certainly has forgotten who got her to this point. And then there is O’Malley who I unfollowed from Twitter today after his comments about the vote. I am getting the sinking sensation that my days of being inspired to actually get out and work for a candidate may be over:-) Still keeping my fingers crossed about Joe. Oh my, is that sexist? I am very afraid these current Dems are going to be in for a very big surprise come 2016.
As I scrolled thru NW’s post, I saw the JEB one and chuckled. I bet Mama Barbara Bush is cussing up a storm - “I TOLD YOU NOT TO GET OUT THERE”, now look what you’ve done!!!! :D :D
one can’t hide stupid offspring for ever - especially those who feel they are entitled to the presidency
GE TODville,
Haven’t had time to catch up here, but my twitter timeline is blowing up because of #NOW, Sherrod Brown and Elizabeth Warren — claiming that PBO’s statements about that misguided, politically motivated emoprog, Elizabeth “I wouldn’t be on the national stage if it weren’t for Barack Obama” Warren were “sexist.”
Here’s some push-back that I re-tweeted. (Sorry if they’re duplicates.)
And this one…
Absolutely Bob! Really don’t know how much more of this I can stand:-) All I know is that the Dem party is seriously underestimating the amount of support that exists in the electorate for PBO. They think it is only the AA vote that he controls. There are a whole lot of us who have waited since JFK to be inspired again and he was the one to do it. And that is a significant share of the Caucasian vote as well. This is how this party loses elections and turns off voters.
^ THIS!
“There are a whole lot of us who have waited since JFK to be inspired again and he was the one to do it. And that is a significant share of the Caucasian vote as well.”
Absolutely, Foxfire.
I’m one of those white folk who waited, not only after JFK was executed, but then after RFK was executed and I NEVER thought I’d see the day that anyone would inspire, again.
President Obama made that inspiration happen.
I have no doubt that VP Biden can continue to inspire.
I’m increasingly convinced that Mayor de Blasio is up to the task.
The one person that I’d literally give my life to see elected President of the USA is Michelle Obama (won’t happen since it’s not of interest to her, but she’d be the most potent President, ever, imho).
I agree that Michelle is inspirational, and I am crazy about her. But a big part of what made PBO so inspirational was his life story and his world view. He has lived things and seen things that most of us can only dream about. Combine that with his measured temperament and his intelligence, and we have a once in a lifetime president. No way would Michelle put up with this bullshit while Joe thrives on it. Michelle would rather go back to training and inspiring the next generation on a much smaller scale. And Joe would carry on PBO’s agenda. He clearly is holding back to see how this plays out the next few months, but I’m hoping he will decide he NEEDS to step in…..Overall, I am terribly disappointed in the Dem party, and I don’t think that feeling is going to go away any time soon.
Yes. I am the part of the caucasian vote you mention. My despair matches yours.
2014 seemed like deliberate sabotage of Democratic hopes and chances by the RW DINOS. What is happening with Elizabeth Warren, Sherrod Brown, and Martin O’Malley seems to be a continuation of a desire to throw the USA back into Republican hands.
How else can you interpret their zeal in opposing President Obama?
Bobfr, as always, I am coming here late, but I enthusiastically support the sentiments expressed in your tweet! We need to do everything necessary to convince VP Biden to run. VP Biden is the only one I trust to continue President Obama’s policies.

for 6 and 1/2 years, I have never heard NOW (or any of the traditional women’s organisations) defend FLOTUS, the First Daughters or any woman of color being actually attacked and abused but suddenly these elite women want to play victim???
no surprise here since many led the attack on a younger woman who was being shamed by nation that should have remembered the deference in power;
no wonder each time I have raised the issue that powerful elite women are usually key players in the abuse of less advantaged women, most elite women have responded antagonistically
These same women have had a Chip on their shoulders since Black Men were allowed to vote before them in the mid-late 1800s. Funny, while our rights as WOMEN to do as we can with our bodies are undermined these days, Voting Rights and Civil Rights for African Americans remain totally achieved. In the meantime, these same Elites are the most beneficiaries of the Affirmative Action…….ERA failed, alright. But in Academic, Jobs, Home Ownership, etc, these Elites have benefited the most since the 1960s.
Yesssssss, the rift is old, from Susan B Anthony shunning Frederick Douglas because he stated that ex slaves should get the vote first
You have mirrored my thoughts exactly
Oops, so sorry……I had meant to convey that the Voting and Civil Rights are still yet not fully achieved in 2015, 50 yrs plus later.
Well said Globalcitizenlinda! I never once heard Sherrod Brown publicly call out people who overtly attack and demean President Obama and First Lady, Michelle Obama. He was absolutely “mum” when SC’s Joe Wilson pointed his finger at President Obama, during the the SOTU speech and accused the PRESIDENT of being a LIAR? Sherrod Brown’s silence was definitely deafening. The same was true of so many of Elizabeth Warren’s cultists.
Hmm?

Australia’s opposition parties are preparing for a possible early election in the wake of the stimulatory budget.
However, the government has denied it delivered a generous budget in a bid to win the public’s approval.
The budget delivered on Tuesday night put money in the pocket of most Australians.
It stands in stark contrast to the government’s 2014 debut budget, which slashed government spending and saw the government’s popularity sink.
