Morning Roberta, what a painful day it will be for the Biden family, may they find the strength to get through it.
Morning everyone.
Chips, I do think the hardest part comes after the funeral when the crowds go home and you’re left alone with your grief. Both my sisters are widows, although one has remarried, and I saw them both fold in on themselves when the family/friends left. There will be unspeakably tough times ahead and it will be the strength of the Biden family bonds that will get them through.
That’s so true Jackie, we’ve all been through it, you just have to shift in to practical mode to make funeral arrangements and then deal with the busyness of the day, you really don’t have time to reflect, it’s only when it’s all over and you go home that it hits you. And the days and weeks after are so lonely and so hard. My heart goes out to all the Biden family, but especially his widow, the grief is unimaginable.
^5 I went through that with my Sister when she lost her husband. It was a senseless work accident and hit us all hard. You hit that right on the head with that comment Jackie. All my love to the Biden Family.

Beau Biden was a truly beautiful man, inside and out and he’ll live on within every person who knew and loved him, especially his children. My own father died when I was five years old (he as 43) and the memory of his love and generous spirit has sustained me throughout my life. I hope the angels surround the Biden family today and lift up our President who’s been given the difficult task of comforter.
We are off to the DC area to attend our granddaughter’s first dance recital so will catch up later.
How did the doctor visit go yesterday Jackie? Did you get some good results from your Ultra Sound?

Hey Chips, my brain is functioning right now. I can remember stuff, by this afternoon I will be at a loss. I am going to go look at a Morkie for sale by a private party this evening. She is just adorable. 2 1/2 yrs old. She looks pretty small. Will fill you all in later. I really miss my Megan, so maybe It is time to get another one. Family will probably have a fit, but I sure miss having that little girl around. Gotta go. Will be back later.

Somewhat O/T: I keep wanting to share this. For Christmas, I asked for The President’s Devotional by Joshua Dubois. There’s SO many days I wish all of you could read that day’s devotion because I instantly recall some event or castrophe that our dear President has had to deal with. Today it is about how history remembers you. Point Josh makes is that Christ himself did not think his acts important enough to be written down. His last paragraph: “Like Christ himself, let’s live our goodness in the world irrespective of our legacy. History will take care of itself, and our unspoken, unrecorded works will have the impact intended for them.”
We all know that is exactly how PO feels and lives his life. Bless him! And, thank him for everything he does for our country and our world.
Thank you so much. It’s the beauty of the Tod family that will help us through this together because the Bidens are family too.

Bangladesh and India have signed a historic agreement to simplify their border by exchanging more than 150 enclaves of land.
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi ratified the deal with his counterpart Sheikh Hasina in Dhaka.
Thousands of Bangladeshis inhabit more than 50 enclaves in India, while Indians live in around 100 areas within Bangladesh.
The countries will now swap territories and residents can choose where to live.
Bangladesh Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali described the agreement as “a historic milestone in the relationship between the two neighbouring countries”.

I feel sure Beau Biden is travelling on the wings of love to his final resting place, and we are here, like one of the feathers within the wings, to help him soar on this journey. May God bless, replenish, and sustain the spirits of each member of the Biden family as they go through today and the days and years ahead!

Good morning everyone. I feel heavy with sadness today for the Biden family….if I could take some of their sadness away, I would in a heartbeat. I hope they feel the arms of a grateful nation wrapped around them today and evermore. I wish for time to more quickly so the pain doesn’t hurt so much anymore….it does get better, with time. Mostly, I wish strength for them. This will be a hard day.
