Will Schumer let pressure from the other side pressure him? I can’t stand politicians like Schumer. He has a sneaky look. He is being pressured from the Israel lobbyist.

Maybe I should email him and tell him to be fair, don’t let anyone else pressure him to say no. We don’t want a war with Iran just because cowards like him can’t do what’s right.

More information on former President Carter…
ATLANTA – The Carter Center says former President Jimmy Carter has undergone a medical procedure to remove a small mass in his liver, and that he’s expected to make a full recovery.

A statement released by Carter’s spokeswoman Deanna Congileo described Monday’s operation at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta as an elective procedure.

It said the procedure was done without issues, and that the prognosis “is excellent for a full recovery.” The Carter Center’s statement offered no other details.

Gulf allies ‘back Iran nuclear deal’ after US security guarantees.

US allies in the Gulf have backed the nuclear deal with Iran, after the US promised them better intelligence-sharing and faster arms transfers.

Qatari Foreign Minister Khalid al-Attiya said the Iran deal represented the best option for regional stability.

He was speaking after talks with visiting US Secretary of State John Kerry, who is trying to win support for the deal in the Sunni-dominated Gulf.

Gulf states accuse Shia Iran of stoking unrest in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.

They fear the nuclear deal will encourage the Tehran government to boost support for proxies who are fighting Sunni forces across the region.

The US has argued that the deal, aimed at preventing Iran from gaining a nuclear weapon in exchange for sanctions relief, will make the region safer.

On Monday, Mr Kerry discussed the nuclear deal with members of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) - a regional body bringing together Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar.

    POTUS very strong today.
I thought he did a masterful job laying out the same-old same-old non-sense arguments the RW/GOP/DINOS will offer.

Another important point is that oil prices continue to slide—-well under $50.00 per barrel today.
When Iran’s oil is flowing even more freely, which will be soon, the woes of Chevron, Mobil, Shell will double and triple.

Saudi Arabia, which got a lot of slack from the US because of oil we needed from them, must be worried sick.

Add to this mix: Koch brothers interests in the energy field and the
    Saudi Arabia/Sunni
    Iran/Shia

And you get the flavor of the desperation and insanity and fervor against the Climate Change Regs plus Iran deal.

POTUS is Literally driving his opponents crazy.

“Demirtas, 42, co-chairman of the HDP, is widely regarded as the winner of the election in early June. His charismatic demeanor was mainly due to the fact that his People’s Democratic Party (HDP) received 13 percent of the popular vote, becoming the first Kurdish party to win a mandate in Turkey’s parliament and deny the governing Justice and Development Party (AKP) an absolute majority. For an interview, Demirtas received SPIEGEL in his parliamentary party’s new offices in Ankara. The room is large and bright and his desk is flanked by both the Turkish flag and that of his party.

SPIEGEL: Mr. Demirtas, your success two months ago gave hope to many people in- and outside of Turkey, who hailed it as a milestone for democracy. But today, the country threatens to return to civil war-like conditions. How could it come to this?

Demirtas: The AKP, the party of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has brought about this situation deliberately. Until the elections in June, they had ruled Turkey unilaterally for more than a decade. But they weren’t able to block our ascent to power any longer, so they opted to foment chaos in the country instead. This is the only possible explanation for their war against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).”

Updated: State Democratic chairman says GOP now dominated by ‘low-information’ voters
Before Voters Forum, Raymond Buckley calls Republican candidates ‘monolithic’ on issues

MANCHESTER, N.H. —Ahead of Monday night’s Voters Forum featuring 14 Republican presidential candidates, the state Democratic Party chairman attributed the surge of Donald Trump to the top of GOP polls to a rise in the number of “low-information voters who don’t want to deal with the facts.”

WMUR TO AIR NH UNION LEADER’S ‘VOTERS FIRST FORUM’ MONDAY

WMUR will be airing the New Hampshire Union Leader’s “Voters First Forum” from 7-9 p.m. Monday.
    MORE
Raymond Buckley said there has been a “transformation” of the Republican Party, including in New Hampshire, from a more moderate base to a “monolithic entity that is really controlled by either the Koch brothers or the tea party extremists.” The reference was to conservative billionaires Charles and David Koch, who fund numerous conservative organizations.

“There used to be the Republican Yankees,” Buckley said at a news conference at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics. “The Walter Peterson, the Warren Rudman sort of Republicans,” referring to the late New Hampshire governor and U.S. senator.

“They’ve all been evaporated, and what you’ve got now here in New Hampshire and, frankly, across the country, are the real low-information voters who don’t want to deal with facts. They want to cheer on anyone who says the most outrageous thing, whether it’s rational or not.”

“Donald Trump may get the headlines because he’s a little more outlandish with what he says, but they all have the same positions,” Buckley said. “Nobody there supports health care, nobody there supports raising the minimum wage, women’s health, and on and on and on.”

Buckley said he welcomes the attention the Republican field will receive at the Monday night event and the Fox News debate on Thursday.

“The more exposure the Republicans get, the less likely they are to attract the swing voters in New Hampshire,” he said.

State Republican Party Chairwoman Jennifer Horn responded to Buckley’s criticism of her party’s presidential field.

“Republicans have the most diverse, qualified field of presidential candidates in modern history,” Horn said. “While the Democrat Party continues the stale Hillary Clinton coronation campaign, Republicans are engaged in a real primary debate about how to move our country forward because Hillary Clinton simply cannot be trusted.”
