The suspect in Friday’s thwarted attack was “attempting to kill a whole train full of people,” a French prosecutor says.
Ayoub El Khazzani has been charged with attempted mass murder and membership in a terrorist organization, Paris Prosecutor Francois Molins told reporters Tuesday.
The 25-year-old Moroccan was armed with an assault weapon and about 200 rounds of ammunition, Molins said. El Khazzani was subdued by three Americans and other passengers on the train.
I heard that he told authorities he “found the weapons” just laying around in a park. Maybe he forgot he previously told the heroes who subdued him to please return my gun.

The cartoon heading this post is spot on. It perfectly displays the hair trigger posture the media maintains in its never ending quest to tarnish PBO’s presidency. To bring him down a peg or two. Consequences to the country be damned. Every bad occurrence is PBO’s fault, and any good that occurs either had absolutely nothing to do with PBO, or was the product of “dumb luck”. Its not just that they do this shit, but to make matters worse they can barely contain their glee when the think they have finally “got” him. They are rooting for America’s failure so they can blame PBO. Rush Limbaugh’s hateful insanity is the mainstream media’s position. The media hated Bill Clinton too, but it never reached this pathological level, this “burn the village to save it” mentality. And let’s not forget, the media dubbed Clinton the “Comeback Kid”, which displayed a level of respect and levity that has never been displayed toward PBO.
Ok, so update on the missus.
She had an abcess which had to be drained. It was warm to the touch, so we were fearing infection. Drained, antibiotics, and everything is right as rain. And I’ve been a surrogate nurse, as I’ve been changing her dressing. Modern love.

Despite strict voter ID laws, Alabama is in the process of closing 45 of 49 driver’s license offices
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said budget cuts will result in closing driver’s license offices across the state.
The agency said the cut will be in phases, with 33 offices closed during the first wave.
In January 2016, a further 12 offices will close. By March, all but four offices in the entire state will shut their doors.
The offices that will remain open, ALEA said, are Huntsville, Montgomery, Mobile, and Birmingham.

I found the media’s use of the word “blessing” as very patronizing … both on the President and Vice President. First of all, the President would never use such language for publication (he doesn’t see himself as royalty) and if he said it one-on-one, that’s something any of us might say to a friend without the royal connotation. Second, Joe Biden’s a “big boy” and doesn’t go crawling on his knees to anybody for a blessing, unless it’s Sunday morning. If he asked the President for his thoughts, he’d welcome hearing them. But for his blessing? Come on, now, media. Dopes.

She had wanted the VP for then Sen Biden, not the SoS. Mr Biden had a choice on the two posts.
Something I have considered. I have no idea whether or not VP Joe will get in this race. The media is all about a horse race so they are simply speculating that its a foregone conclusion. I’m gonna keep my emotions in check, cross my fingers and and let him decide.
Also, after following these campaigns, if he decides to get in it will have zero effect on Sanders because those supporters are not looking to support an establishment candidate although I consider Sanders a longtime politician who also works in (establishment) Washington. Crazy isn’t it?

Our national parks are perhaps our greatest American asset. So glad PBO will be president for the 100 yr celebration!
I need to finish watching ken burns’ parks documentary. but I remember they were saying our national parks are a uniquely American treasure. even in Europe a lot of whats left is owned, or was owned by rich, wealthy and powerful. yet here in America even the poorest of the poor has access equal to the richest among us.
Now if only we can keep the GOP from selling off our park lands for drilling, logging….
