meta, I saw your DiFi comment on the last thread and I want to say how pleased I was to find an email in my inbox yesterday from my distinguished Senator Feinstein. She was thanking me for emailing her about the IranDeal and also letting me know what her position was and why. She ended by saying that she wanted me to know that she heard me and likes to get these kinds of emails from the people of her great State of California.

I wanted to hug her, cuz sometimes she makes me a little cray cray.

What a relief! And i am very glad to see we got the 42 votes.
Mitch McConnell whined and lied egregiously after the vote.
      Sickening.

      FFS
September 17th can’t come soon enough.
We need a new term for “sore losers” because it is insufficient for the current GOP.

The losing campaign to defeat PBO and this Iran deal will continue indefinitely in the demented deranged pyches of the RW nutjobs in charge of DC.

AMEN! Counting the days. But this first one is the one that counted. Was truly surprised all 42 stuck together. Can’t imagine there is anything the GOP can do that will change the outcome now. But of course, they will try. Too bad they don’t try this hard on jobs or infrastructure or both before more bridges fall down.

Clearly Congress wont legislate against itself, but Republicans have shown that there is desperate need for a way, or a system, of deterrence for when legislators insistent on wasting time and taxpayers’ money. IMO, there is no reason under the sun why senators&/ representatives shouldn’t be (held accountable) fined when they persist in re-litigating on a given issue purely for the sake of grandstanding.

No problem, bella. I’ve gotta remember to reset the DVR again. First thing I did this morning was set it to record tonight’s match! :-)

          http://www.usopen.org/en_US/scores/schedule/schedule18.html

Women’s Semi rescheduled for 11AM on Friday
Halep v. Panetta play first; followed by Serena v. Vinci (12:30-1:00-ish depending on when the first match finishes)

So far the Women’s Final is still scheduled for Saturday. No word on whether moving the Semis to Friday will cause them to move it.

That was in a Dec meeting with McConnell. Also Eric Cantor held a similar meeting.
VP Biden was told the same thing. And of course the meeting led by Frank Luntz and Newt G on Jan 20th, 2009.
The US economy contracted in the last Qtr of 2008. Thousands of jobs were lost….an yet these people were never held accountable……because the US Press pretended to look the other way.
Dems kept quite. The Public were truly Never informed of the destructive wicked games the GOPers were playing. Also, the GOPer Govs in last 2008 or early 2009 had their meetings too…..so the GOPers coordinated. Today, they are still in cohorts in their destructive behavior.

donna dem 4 obama, I knew that was the Republicans plan. The Republican Tea Party is the reason for the country being so divided, but they try to put the blame on President Obama. This President came into office willing to work with the Republicans, he reached out to them many times, but it was no, no, no. No compromise, Rush said he hope the President fail, meaning he hope America fail, McConnell only concern was making the President a one term President and he went about setting a record number filibuster and John Boehner was a sorry excuse for a speaker. And I can only hope that these Republicans will not shut down the government again.

    We don’t need to escalate

War What is it good for…Absolutely NOTHING!

WAR! It ain’t nothing but a heartbreaker,
War. Friend only to the undertaker.
Ohhh! War is an enemy to all mankind,
The thought of war blows my mind.
War has caused unrest within the younger generation
Induction then destruction…who wants to die?
