So now I need to do some time crunching. mmmm - your tomorrow is my today - Thursday. US Eastern is 14 hours behind my time. So if I add 14 hrs to 9.20 Eastern that becomes 11.20 PM Thursday in my time. If I have that right all will be good - I am usually awake at 11.20 PM.

Have to admit I keep seeing all those buttons and wonder how long it takes to do them up - sigh - the things that my brain sees in a picture.

Slim trim 21 year old me had a ball gown with (I think) 45 buttons - doubt I ever got it right 1st try - and not being in the millionaire class I wore the dress multiple times :) - also too - I did love it - probably why I notice what the Pope is wearing.

Clinton did so when even the Bush administration saw through the scam and opposed the legislation. Bush ended up signing the bill just two weeks before the 2004 election. The resulting tax holiday reduced the rate on returning overseas profits from 35 percent to 5.25 percent. The biggest winners were Pfizer, which brought back $37 billion while eliminating 10,000 jobs, and Merck, which brought back $15.9 billion while eliminating 7,000 jobs.

What a beautiful, crisp, sunny First Fall Day here in NYC.
This morning Central Park was different……quiet, calm, peacefully beautiful.
Even the green algae that had accumulated weeks ago in the pond was clearing up smoothly.
This Pope is different.
This President is different.
The whole world is better because they are different but the same spirit.
They seem so comfortable with each other as if they have been friends for a long time.
I am anticipating this Pope’s speech to GOP Congress to convict, expose them for who they really are.
I hope it shames the spineless, traitors who calls themselves Dems and liberals to the point they go and stay on the dark side where they really belong.

I’m not a Catholic, I’m the daughter of one Protestant minister, and the granddaughter of two Protestant ministers, but I believe this pope to be God’s messenger on earth. So many Evangelical Protestant ministers have damaged the name of Christian, that it is a crying shame. This man is helping to bring the real message of Christ to earth……the absolute opposite of the twisted “prosperity gospel” preached by so many Protestants in recent years. They are an abomination.
Carolyn, I so agree. I am not Catholic, but I do believe these 2 men are men of God. I am also the daughter of a Quaker minister and both my grandparents were Quaker ministers. I am so against the “Christian Right” I have problems with most of my family. But I truly believe these 2 men are living examples of being a Christian.
