First the guy was blacksplaining to a black women on diversity and now he’s gaysplaining. Didn’t his BFF Ben Afleck get caught trying to hide the fact that some of his peeps were slave owners back in the day?

it’s getting pretty interesting, isn’t it? i had to check out of here for a while during the t.p.p. spat with sen warren. possibly no senator has embraced president obama, literally and figuratively, more than senator warren, and i felt the spat she had with our president could possibly have been a mutual plan to help build her bona fides with certain liberals and elevate her name for a potential presidential or v.p. run. notice they’ve been together at things since and appear to working together on a number of fronts, as usual. she’s also currently barnstorming the country to help democrats win all over the place, which she’s consistently done.

the senator recently met with biden, was on colbert and got the audience really fired up, and now this, along with all of joe’s activity since that meeting, really has me wondering. she word-for-word talks about issues in almost the same way as president obama, with the only real variance being during the t.p.p. debate, and that was more about the “how-to” get to the same goals that they both share (and that might’ve been a kabuki dance in my opinion). few can get crowds as rockin as she can and debate issues as well, so i’m keeping my fingers crossed for some sort of candidacy from her (president or v.p.) still, despite her denials. the panic button about hillary’s campaign has been hit in the democratic circles and someone needs to step up.

Major city in northern Afghanistan ‘collapses’ to Taliban, officials say

Insurgents took control of facilities across the provincial capital of Kunduz, Afghan officials said, driving back stunned security forces in a multi-pronged attack. It is the first time the insurgents have seized a major urban area since the U.S.-led invasion in 2001.

So cool, jojo! We had nothing but clear nights for the better part of a week, but it was cloudy here in Chicago last night.

It was so funny, when we were trying to figure out what time the eclipse was supposed to start one website said there were two hours left for Pacific time which was about 7pm. We went outside and we saw nothing it was so dark. Then I suggested we walk to the corner to see if we could see the moon and there it was about a half hour later the round red moon with a little eclipse. The clouds were obscuring the view and in that short of time the clouds cleared just enough. My neighbor works at a planetarium and she was out there with her telescope or camera. We got some really good shots of the moon.

      In deed.
This is something the US Armed Forces have been warning against for years now.
Somehow, the US Media never reports this basic fact.

Another of PBO’s speeches for the ages IMO. No one else has that ability to cast so much shade so graciously. He sure makes a lot of ‘big tough guys’ seem awfully small and petty, and he does it without any hint of meanness or condescension. I just hope that the people that need to listen to this the most, will do so.
