Not me this time, himself, day before yesterday he disturbed another wasp’s nest and got attacked by a gazillion of them, about 20 of them clinging to him, it was like Nightmare on Elm Street. But he’s fine, vet said he’d only need an injection if he had a bad reaction to them, but so far so good. There’s never a dull moment with this fella :-(

Morning and thanks so much, Chips, for that wonderful photo. I used to love visiting the UN as a young girl, which was only a short train ride from my home. There was something about the rooms there that instilled a sense of peace. I was so inspired by those trips that I founded a UN club when I got to high school so we could learn about and support what the UN was doing. Ah, the idealism of youth.

I found it very interesting, but Charlie Rose acted like a juvenile imo. At one point Putin said : I have answered that question 4 times already. Then asked Rose how long he had been a journalist. Rose had the nerve to ask Putin is PBO is ” weak “. Putin said absolutely NOT. !
I am paraphrasing. Rose always tries to TELL people what they are thinking instead o ASKING what they think on a matter.
He used to be a good interviewer about 20 years ago. Over time, when he guests are related to politics, he’s leaned right and mostly projected his opinions, made it more editorial.

Not sure the Vatican knew the whole story when the Pope accepted to see her. Not sure the Vatican understood that it was much more than a “case of conscience”. That Kim Davis was the symbol in America for HATE of the gays ?
