Morning all. The light will go out of Washington, DC when President Obama leaves the White House. Our daughter, who works in DC, said that the whole city seemed filled with electric energy after the inauguration in 2009 and has remained that way throughout PBO’s term. I cannot imagine anyone-even our beloved VP Biden-creating that kind of electricity again, although he would come the closest.
That’s my picture they used in this story. Went to the bank and suddenly police cars were arriving just as I was about to turn in. Canine dog the whole nine yards. I used to live in apartments just behind the bank. Canine dog and police went searching but did not find him.
I called the TV station. They asked me to take a picture.
It was. But I am so nosy. So, I went across the street at the convenient store and sat there watching to see if they would catch the robber. I was also worried about the tellers, all of whom I have formed a bond over the years. I know they were traumatized.
Yes, Lord. That’s exactly what I told my sister. I am glad I did not run into him or in the bank. As I stated above, I was also worried about the folks in the bank. I have known many of them for a long time.
BTW, CC that was an inspired picture choice for today - when you consider that I’m sitting here in two layers of clothing *inside*!! Yesterday I had on three; the first time in years!
I really getting sick and tired of Trump’s racism and fear mongering. He was amusing for a while and now he becoming like overripe cheese that’s been in the refrigerator too long.
Africa, these are brilliant tweets that deserve to be RT’d a thousand times over. What the GOP and their conspirators in the media have done since PBO was elected is an outrage and a crime against the American people.
