Sanders’ account has 620K followers - yet after 10 hrs, his tweet spreading negative lies about TPP gets fewer than 350 RTS? W’happened to all those crowds Bernie? Where your big ‘Obama-topping’ crowds at?
With all of these big crowds, why is HRC still ahead nationally? Rachel mentioned his position on guns and how he voted against background checks, but she did not dwell on it much.
Sanders “crowds” are like Ron Paul’s crowds. They only exist in the minds of the lunatic libertarians who run their campaigns. Note that info about the crowd size is always coming from Sanders’ campaign. Never verified by any independent source. So far, not one of the Bernie-bots on Twitter have mentioned or being at one of those rallies or tweeting a picture or such. Some of these crowd pics are questionable - perhaps photoshopped, or from other events, etc.
Hopefruit, I believe there are indeed big crowds for Senator Sanders and those photos are real. There is genuine enthusiasm for Mr. Sanders. But his supporters are more “active” than Hillary’s supporters. Many liberal activists, many young people. Many Hillary’s supporters are either tepid supporters, or are older, are very busy and don’t have time to attend a rally, etc.
Sanders attracts the more leftist part of the base, and those people are traditionally more inclined to attend rallies.

Good evening TOD. I am generally taking a break from the primary process in order to keep my BP down. But the gun control issue has me totally riled again. How quickly everyone forgets that until PBO really started pushing the issue most of the Democrats were as afraid of the NRA as the Rs. He is the one who has made this front and center of the campaigns. I knew this was going to be bad but it is worse than I expected, in part because I can’t muster an iota of interest in any of them. And the press also is driving me crazy. If Joe decides not to run I suspect my TV will be off for quite some time. After falling in love with PBO in 2007 and supporting him all these years it’s hard to watch these candidates. Still keeping my fingers crossed that Joe decides to run. We sooooo need him!
Me too, Foxfire. Even when I decide to follow PBO’s advice and become a single issue voter on gun regulations, I feel discouraged about the possibility of voting for Hillary. I hope Joe does run. I need to bow out of following Hillary and BS criticizing PBO. It upsets me and may affect my physical wellness as I have hip replacement surgery on Wednesday.
The more this guy keeps talking, the worse it’s going to get for him. His initial motives for revealing info on the NSA were impure and narcissistic - and thus everything he says or does on this matter is tainted with that dishonesty.
