My shocker was on the possibility of a 1hr flight from London to NY?
I am never flying this Concorde2. What ‘am I talking about…….I can’t afford the Ticket fee ;)
One hour?????? That is insane!!! But, LOL, I won’t have to think about it either!!!
Only 19 passengers per flight. Selling my house probably wouldn’t be enough to get me a seat. Maybe they’ll raffle them off by the lottery every now and then. I’d have as fair a shot at it that way as any. :-D
Lived in the flight path for a year - No amount of glazing stopped that noise. Mr 99 thought it was wonderful - men and their toys.

:D I found a free Scrabble site that has been keeping me up nights! Literally - once or twice this past week up til 3am! Upon my discovery I played a game or two and realized how rusty I’d become, so am now trying to see if I can rejuvenate my skills/brain. :) The only problem so far (apart from losing way too often) is that when you play in the free section they keep stopping the play periodically for ads. However, not having had any playing partners in years, the interruptions are a small price to pay, AND they do apparently have a paying section which I may just investigate after I get my game back on track. Life’s good - now if only work would stop interrupting! :) :)

Anybody who says they don’t like “country music” probably never heard “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” - and the rendition tonight was particularly moving. Love that damn song.
But it brings back a touching moment. My great aunt (in her 80s) was visiting us back in the 1960s, and I was playing an old “record album” for her, including the original of that song. During the song, I thought maybe it was a bad choice, because my great uncle had just passed away. But she listened to it, and said, “That was lovely.” And then asked when my mother was serving the ice cream!
Nothing kept those old German-American girls down, or away from the music!
What a coincidence, ’cause I “hate” Paul Ryan (well, I would, if I were going to waste my hate on him).
