I am so angry I could spit.! I woke up around 4 AM today and turned on the tv. While surfing channels I noticed Bob Gates was giving an interview on Fox with Bret Baier.
Gate was seriously trashing both PBO and VP Biden claiming that PBO micromanged the war . Had a distrust of all Generals due to VP Biden constantly telling him the military was trying to box him in to a corner regarding both the Wars and especially Afghanistan.
I only saw a couple of minutes, but it appears the segment was over 8 minutes. So far, I have not seen any other network jumping on this.
Gates is a pig and his failures when working at the NSA need to be exposed.
pox news viewers are hateful numbnutz anyway, so gates’ rant is quite useless.

Yesterday my 10 year old son texted my wife a grocery list from his ipad while she was at work. And now my wife and my son are in discussions about him getting a floating skateboard type of thing for Christmas. The boy even wants to light the barbeque grill, I’m getting pushed out. Last week I was laying in bed watching tv and I could hear my wife tell my son to go in the room and get her glasses but not to wake me because I was taking a nap. I wasn’t taking a nap, I was watching tv, I don’t need to take a nap because I wasn’t tired. And now when they go out to the mall on the weekend they don’t invite me, my wife tells me to stay home and get some rest. I don’t like this at all; I’m not tired I have a lot of energy.
Maybe they’re planning a huge surprise party for you?
There’s only one thing to do. Send your son to boarding school and take up tango dancing. Morning, Don! :) I don’t have an Olympic pool, and you’re not tired. See what I’m saying?

Jeb Bush entered the presidential race as the “shock and awe” candidate whose fundraising dominance was poised to make his campaign an unstoppable juggernaut.
He is not that candidate anymore.
After reporting Thursday that he has less cash in the bank than three other Republican candidates, Bush effectively cemented his status as just another aspirant in a presidential race where the surest predictions have been proven wrong time and again.
Bush — a former Florida governor who relied heavily on his family’s network to amass a $103 million war chest at his allied super PAC earlier this year — announced Thursday that he collected contributions for his actual campaign at a drastically slower pace during a difficult summer.
Bush raised $13.4 million from July to September, and started October with just $10.3 million on hand after spending about $11.5 million — or 86 percent of the total over the quarter. This leaves Bush with less cash in the bank than three opponents, including Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), whom Bush allies see as his chief rival for GOP establishment support.

Last week, in a signal that California Democrats believe that women warrant “reproductive freedom and dignity,” California Governor Jerry Brown signed a statewide bill, the Reproductive Fact ACT that forces faith-based crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) to stop lying and stop posing as medical providers. Crisis pregnancy centers are religious anti-choice organizations that use the appeal of free pregnancy testing to trap women into suffering through a sermon where they are told blatant lies about abortion and birth control to discourage the use of both. The new law is not any kind of a burden for a legitimate business providing medical services, and primarily requires the churches to post signs alerting women that they are going to be given false information founded on religion, and that church activists are not really medical professionals or providers.
Be smart, ladies!! Do NOT go near these places, EVER. Kudos to California for pulling back the curtain on these liars and frauds.

I do remember Krugman being somewhat apprehensive in the early days of the Obama Administration when it came to President Obama’s policies. But if this is the end result then it was worth it.
Krugman was pretty awful to Obama the first few years, but he not only came around, but did so with intelligence, grace and a little humility. He won back my respect.
And with some intelligence, grace and a little humility, Hillary could have been running away with this thing and not sitting around waiting to see what V.P. Biden is going to do.
She had a chance to show greatness in 2007,2008, and easily chose the gutter instead. I will vote for her, I will even defend her when I think it’s warranted. But I think she is a well-studied mediocre person.

That pretty much depends on what prism you’re looking through. When the Clintons ran the Whitehouse they tried and failed at getting a healthcare bill passed and the left said “hey, they tried” and were still praised. When President Obama not only tried but succeeded at getting a healthcare bill passed it wasn’t as appreciated by some on the left. Now maybe my perception was off, but that is how I perceived the healthcare situation to be. President Obama never set out to get the whole loaf, and if you listened to every speech he gave as a candidate you would have known that. But at times the left has been its own worst enemy in terms of what is needed and what is wanted and what can be ultimately achieved.
