You are right about that. The comments, which I missed, say it all.
What I will say is that Hillary needs to be careful of the people she surrounds herself with. Some of them stink to high heaven. On another note, she has been PWNING the ridiculous GOP.

Nerdy, what I’ve seen over the years is that the Clintons demand and receive loyalty and fealty from all their associates, no matter who they are, so they can be called upon at times like election years. So there are a LOT of really awful people in their orbit and I don’t see them cutting loose anybody any time soon.
You’ll also notice that the CBC will absolutely go to the mat for the Clintons in a way they would never even bother to do for the Obamas. There is a loyalty and allegiance there, a product of a lot of backscratching for their own ends.

Given the level of crazy the gun nuts have gone to, and given the NRA just putting out that hit piece on dems, I’m actually glad for this one. Our first family’s safety is #1 priority. If the gun nuts have issues with that then maybe they should think twice about the hate they sow.

Thanks Nerdy for the informative and superbly entertaining tweet summary of the hearings, which I am just not in the mood to watch.
Was soooo bummed about VP Biden not running. I could only comment once yesterday. I felt under the weather too - sort of a vague, headachey, nauseous, general malaise. I think I was feeling the weight of the collective disappointment of so many like me who were hoping Joe would run (or maybe it was just a hormonal thing; I never know these days :-) )
Today I feel better, more upbeat. In a way, I think VP can support this administration even better if he’s not running. He and PBO can be a duo to be reckoned with even more than they have been. I’m pretty sure it will be an awesome “Lame Duck” season to come, with both our guys free of any political constraints and totally focused on moving us forward.
I noticed Martin O’Malley was on Daily Show this week and Seth Meyer’s show as well, so I will watch those to get a better feel for him. I am hoping for a viable alternative to HRC. I will vote for her if she’s the nominee, but she doesn’t need my donation dollars. HRC, will be competent at least. Bernie, I fear would be a disaster, although I would vote for him, for Supreme Court appointments alone, if he were the nominee (but he won’t be).
There will never be another President Barack Obama. I am going to spend the next 15 months enjoying the hell out of this presidency, along with this wonderful VP at his side.
Then I’m pretty sure I’m headed to Italy :-)
