Thanks for checking in, DF. Yeah, theyāve opened some roads, weāve dried out some but thereās still some run-off water. The lakes are super duper swollen. They had to open some dams so water could keep moving and not gush out and destroy roads.
The horrible thing is that a lot of people who were just beginning to recover from the disastrous Memorial Day floods were hit again and now have to begin from square one.

Out of costume: Very few trick or treaters tonight; only 77; I prepared for two hundred. Though that since it was the weekend, weād have more out of towners. I live in a very small (read “safe”) town, everybody who has a cousin here usually comes trick or treating…

My boss and her wife let their munchkin wear himself out, then pick up his supine body and take him home.
