Good morning Ms. Chips, Danny and TOD family, I hope all is well with everyone this lovely Tuesday morning. Congrats Ms. Chips on being first to open your lovely viilage for your wonderful residents.
Sometime back I shared with the TOD family that my mom was very ill. She passed away last Friday November 6th. She’s in a much better place where there is no suffering, but joy and happiness. Thanks to all for your prayers and kind words.

Helmut Schmidt, who served as West German Chancellor from 1974 to 1982, has died aged 96, his office says.
Mr Schmidt, who was a Social Democrat, was an architect of the European Monetary System, which linked EU currencies and was a key step on the path to the euro.
He was credited with helping to consolidate the country’s post-war economic boom.
He is seen as one of the most popular German leaders since WWII.
Mr Schmidt died on Tuesday afternoon in his home city of Hamburg, his doctor Heiner Greten was quoted as saying by German media.

For some strange reason I remember this guy, I remember watching him on the news when I was in elementary school. I wasn’t a follower or anything, my old man watched the news every night and he made us watch the news with him and he would make us watch the Sunday morning political shows.
I remember him too. We were stationed in Germany from 74-76. He was incredibly popular!
