Americans are very fickle. Apparently and according to the new Fox News poll, they want 400k American troops in Syria.
Hillary is being destroyed by all republican front runners. Cross tabs are about even, usually it favors republicans by a lot and u can point to that as a reason. Not in this poll…
Democratic support is bleeding across the nation.

Thank God, PBO is home safe and sound. I was a bit more worried about his safety on this trip, especially when he was in Turkey, than I am usually. He is looking healthy and spry; hope he and his family have the best Thanksgiving (without emergency interruptions) ever.
We finally have more seasonable weather in NE Fla. this morn: a sunny, brisk 43 degrees presently and no higher than 60 for the rest of the day. I have been out on the deck (yea. no bugs) enjoying the day.
Have a great day, TOD ohana and hold on to positivity and dare I say, joy, inn the face of the current craziness. PBI is STILL the president and we are alive to witness it.

What a comfort it is to have our President back home where he can calmly steer this country through the sea of lunacy thatās been stirred up by the media and fascism-loving presidential candidates. I hope he rests, enjoys time with his family and then puts the crazies back in their bottles. I hate what this country has become lately and I hope more sane people will be inspired to step forward now that the hysterics have had their say.

The article with the video clearly states that the pie was selling very well before the video and then increased in sales after the video. Itās a shame that dirt has to be thrown into the Patty Pie success.

Racial profiling is everyday everywhere we go. African-Americans spend their lives trying to make white people feel comfortable (and sometimes superior) so that we can study, work, play and get home safely. This has been the story of our lives since we came to these shores and none of us thought that the election of the first Black president would change that.
i did not thing it would change that …but i thought that some enlightenment would occur…those forces against the President worried about that too…hence the rise of the TP…police terror..GOP obstruction (just as the rise of KLAN happened to thwart Reconstruction).and now Trump and his fascist rhetoric…but thru it all the press has been a handmaiden to this…mainstreaming…normalizing this racist ideology….what has also happen…is the PL stayed out of the fracas…and threw stones at the President from sidelines…the OBAMA Coalition have the Presidentās back ans we always will……they are his true base….

They followed him enough to criticize his statements which were way over the top as usual. Reporters ask him stupid, insulting questions. When he pushed back on the stupidity and insults he is wrong. He wasnāt strong enough, he doesnāt understand the threat of IS. Heās not doing enough. He doesnāt say the right words. Just on and on. Makes me want to holler.

Glad and grateful to know that POTUS is back safely with his family.
A good start to my birthday is to see President Obama home again! This was a day I had dreaded, but now that itās here, Iām okay. My son called this morning, another friend texted me….Iām okay. Canāt help but think about a year ago when we had a family celebration and my beloved husband was by my side. Life changes quickly. However, I have met many women in my situation who have survived and are thriving. They reach out to me in wonderful ways.
Everyone have a good day, and I say donāt worry about the polls. By this time next year, the hysteria will be over, and we will not be at war, because we know that PBO will not start one. I know that much is going on behind the scenes that the press knows nothing about. I still believe that “sunshine is the best antiseptic” as Judge Brandeis said. Eventually, this racial feeling had to bubble to the top so ALL could see it. I believe that people of good will…..who I still believe are the majority……will be disgusted by it and will turn from it. This kind of hysteria cannot last. It is not sustainable. PBO is calm, will carry on, and slow as Americans are sometimes, they will notice and follow. People did come to their senses after GWB and Cheney rushed in to war. We have a different person at the helm of the ship this time!!!

PBS has been showing “Indian Summers” which if you havenāt seen, Iām pretty sure youād like. It is set 10 years before “The Jewel in the Crown” which we both loved and it is just as sensitive and moving.
Vicki….I have been watching Indian Summers. What a complex situation! Last nightās episode had some surprises, and theyāre already filming Season 2! I understand it begins in 1935, three years later. I searched for info and found an English site with that info. Iāll think of you when it comes back.

This! Infuriating on so many levels. Because they canāt/wonāt do their god damn jobs and pass gun control legislation, they want to tell illustrious Prez what to do when heās already done what he can do. Also if Hillary wants to do Congressā job and legislate through executive action she needs to focus on winning the gd election first and knock off this presidenting by proxy attempt in the interim. As my neice says, “They can miss me with this BS and have a seat!”
